The problem is, that in that region you are in a quickly rising amount of crosshairs. You don't lose a war over territory. You lose a war over having no military left. The losses of Ukraine over somehing little as this are simply insane. A desastrous loss.

  8. Overall it does not make much sense as a serious attempt. I wonder, especially when the equipment seems to be old, if it's just bait/distraction. You send im some old units, only driven by a single person (if not remote controlled, you can do that these days), to catch the focus of the enemy on this. A serious attempt to creaet a bridge there while enemy is clear in range with artillery and alike seems awfully pointless. The idea was, that Russia does not want to shoot at the artillery, because - as good Nazis and warcrimnals as they are - they hide inside the town again. But what's the point? You want to sacrifice massive amounts of soldiers by storming that thing with infantery?

  14. Well, overall it was mainly driven by the oligarchs, that's why EU is mainly an economical union - and especially not a social one, what is of course the core of its failing. Overall: the nations aren't better. Don't forget, the people who do all the shit in the EU, the ARE national politicians. The problen isn't eh union, the working together part, the problem is, how it is brutally abused by the corrupt right wing politicians who control the EU. On top of that, it's heavily guarded and there is no way to close to it, while the very slow Harpoon missiles can be quite easily intercepted. But interesting to hear what his priorities are. Was the usual election. 85+% for neocon politics, this time even worse, 55% for neocon parties which don't even try to hide that, with another 30% of neocon parties who tell lies about left promises (SPD, Greens) and only 9% for the democratic party = the party taht delivers all the solutions for the good of the people in general, not just few oligarchs and everyone else has to pay for that. This guy her should keep his mouth shout, though, he cheered for one of the neocons, the CDU clone party AfD (and the sole reason the CDU and other neocons may keep on not working with them is, how wonderful this fake opposition trick works - and it would stop working if they change that).

  24. Clearly not a cruise missile hit, the building wouldn't stand in that case. Video evidence looks like an anti air missile and the damage patter would fit. At best it's some damage from a further away hit, but this was clearly not hit of a cruise missile against the hospital.

  25. Question would be if it really did that. Sure, it's that far away from Ukrainian troops, but are you really sure that NATO isn't involved? That this is less military than spy work? Could have smuggled such drones into Russia, maybe even long time ago already and then build it together somewhere in the wilderness, startint it from there. Regarding interception: You can be pretty sure, that it was spotted long before it was shot down, but of course you also need something there able to do that. When it flies deep, it will be seen, but you can't target it with long range missile systems, so the shorter range system intercept it. The rest is bad luck when the debris still hits something or someone. It's overall borderline impossible, that this is Ukraine's work. They got 100% support from the CIA or alike, most likely some deep state action, that isn't even direct order from the top.

  36. I try to explain to people all the time, that we are not in medieval times anymoer, hell we are not even in 20th century anymore. The whole "the attacker needs a 3:1 advantage" is a thing of conquering something, taking control, what is hard work and it's easier to sow chaos a defender (who on top likely knows the location, SHOULD have support of the civilians and had time to prepare) than to take control and keep up the new order. But just destroying? If Russia would be in a real war, even more an existencial one, it wouldn't hold back. Kiev could be gone in a day, if you don't care about victims and destruction. Russia is so slow, because it does barely hurt the cities, the infrastructure, the politciians, not even the media. It cut have simply cut that down the very first day and you would have a massive collapse of just everything plus the chaos. Would have been much easier - but of course cause way more destruction and death on the Ukrainian side.
