Stupid because the sole reason for that tank was to draw fire to reveal positions, so to counter something like that you send in a single strike unit to disable it and then move out as fast as you can. Such attacks simply mean that drone and alike will monitor you and if you are not destroyed instantly, it's even worse, because then they will likely follow you back to your base...

The moral on Iraqi side to fight back was pretty much zero and what was left on the ground for tanks and co were meager, ill equipped rests. Iraqi tanks were also crap in general and are not comperable with Russian T-72 at all.

Before, during and after 2.WW it was always about stealing Russia's mountains of resources. Japan overall mainly did their own thing by tring to conquer and pillage China the same way germany went for Russia. In both cases it was Russia/SU and China who by the destroyed most of the aggressor by far.

The only thing they are surprised about is, that Russia holds back so much, but this is easy to explain, since they want to destroy and kill as little as possible.   38. Even under perfect training condition and with newly produced Javelins, they got a successrate of around 20%. With US fascism mainly sending their old crap to their proxy, being used not in training but real fight and mainly by barely trained civilians who are forced into uniform, you can reduce that by another big margin. Such an extra layer, while not strong enough to stop it, will still further add to it, forcing the ammunition to detonate to early, disperse the energy and make it harde to hit points where it could penetrate.

Only plus is mobility, maybe, but when you are detected you better stay far away from these vehicles if you want at least a chance to survive. Best idea would be to just sell it to the Russian's, give up and maybe not even end as PoW, while massively incrasing your quality of life in comparison to the burned down rest of Ukraine.
