@Flawlessx69 The best way for you to act would be to get clear in your own country. Especially when NATO country and even more the USA, make sure to never elect crazy warmongers like Biden and his crew. Regarding the USA you should work on reaching at least a starter level of democracy, you know, more than having only ONE party to vote for that acts like being two parties and just working for your oligarchs.
Also try to get less stupid and insteard more educated, so you don't fall for the lies of your politians and media, this will also help yourself a lot.
What you never should do is getting involved into something you clearly got no clue off.
See: I just directly saw two guys fighting with each othr some weeks ago, directly in front of me, so I was as close as you can get to this. I still had no clue what this was about, even while it happned right in front of me. I had to ask, had to inform myself, learning, that one was a thief and the other guy tried to hold him down for police to come.
This is s pretty simply situation. When it comes to Ukraine, it's a country most people would likely not even find on a map (while a pretty big one and direct neighbor to Russia, the biggest county on this planet), even less know anything about what's going on there.
You got no clue, what's happening with your money and overall: money isn't the problem anyway. See, your 500.000$ here are a joke. That's ~3 Javelin missiles, just the cost of those, not starting with how much more is getting destroyed by all these weaspons.
If you really want to help, protest against the warmongerin of your country. Without the USA ruining Ukraine, then arming Nazis for an ethnical cleansing in Ukraine, just another proxy war creating another failed state in sick hope to weaken Russia to make ia failed stated easy to rob, too, you would not even have to think about humanitarian aid, because Ukraine would still be a halfway fine working country, not ripped apart by muderous racism and worse.

@scroom1202 As written so often: I play this game since start, ARR since early access 2013.
Not enough servers, bad servers and shit engine was a problem since start.
It took them TWO years to get EU servers, while we had to play with 1000ms(!) ping and worse on top of the server delay.
USA also got more probs, just not as awful as EU.
When housing came, first the plots were to expensive for most. Was one of the first to get a mansion (only 10% of the plots are mansions). Meanwhile - since gil is worth nothing in the game and it just got easier and easier to get millions of it - and I mean since years, the money was not he problem anymore.
Even before their influencer campaign, US and EU servers (24, 12) got around 15k active players per server - but even with ShB there were only ~5k housing plots and those shards between guilds and and player chars.
So you got 10k player, who just can't get a house, even less a mansion (that's only ~500 per server).
Japan with 32 server - while having less population than USA, only got 10k active player per server. So only 5k players with that problem.
And as said: that was BEFORE the got the idea to lure in new players they can sell all the outdated shit to.
They lie.
They just don't want to get servers or at best a bare minimum and so they wait and see, if the problem does not just solve itself again, by player leaving.
I'm more than sure they don't think themselves, that most of those who were lured in by influencer will stay as as soon as they rushed through that pile of eight years in some months and see - whoops,, there is really not much to do in the game (thanks go Square just milking instead of improving it).

@lucylu3342 Square paid influencerd to tell the sheep what they have to like.
This won't last long. The main reason peope are surprised about FF14 is, that they got piled up content from eight years.
If they reach the part that is the actual, current game, there will be 1% of that to do for them.
Why do you think FF14 active players number never moved much? Beacuse the game is so fucking good that it can't even hold the fans of FF games?
And we stayed during times in which Square cared more. Why do you think they suddenly have to give away ARR and HW for free? Why do you think they need that influencer campaign? Because so many of us old players, even people like me, you stayed much longer than many others and tried to hold those, could not take it anymore, all this lazy greed of Square, just milking the came and giving a fuck.
How long do you think this will last with angry WoW quitters? Most of them still level stuff, crawl throught he 90% filler quest filled MSQ or grind coins in six year old Gold Saucer (also something Square nevere cared much for).
Enough for a while, but when people who are ultra annoyed over something like a WOW raid being split by 1-2 weeks in 9 and 3 bosses or whatever, how will such people react when they get, that the whole EW expansion for example only got ONE 12 boss raids (you can't count the faceroll alliance raid, no compareable) with ONE and very short story that is spread over 1,5 years with only 4 bosses every 8 monthes?
Not even talking about the massive lack of other current content.
As soon as all the people who discovered this game eight years late will get there, that will be the interesting part. Because then they reached the problem all us old players have/had with it.

@lucylu3342 They got a recruit site for influencers, child. What do you think they got it for?
On top of that, it's obvious, when suddenly influencer shill for them out of nowhere.
These people IGNORED the game for EIGHT years, even when others tried to push them to it.
Then suddenly and all at the same time, during a massive content droughl, they realise, how good the game is and that it's so much better than everything else.
Yeah, sure, just coincidence. Just as this little trick they used to give people a re-colored mount from another marketing event, if they pay these influencers money. Smart. Just take something old out of your dusty wardrobe that will cost you nothing and let the players pay for your PR. Typical Square, that greed.
Funny, that influencer come to FF14 at the time where many old players leave, because Square drove it so brutally against a wall with just that greed.
Exactly at the time, they need new people to milk and new people are so much better then all the old players, since you don't have to do anything for them for a while, just sell them all the old stuff that's rotting in the corner.

You bought items from someone who is clearly better than you, by that you pay to make clear that you suck too much to beat it yourself, that's all.
Pay to win means, that you get something that you could not get without paying, no matter what you do.
This can be very blant, that you buy something that you can only get via cash shop what makes you stronger than anyone else, for example a buff that gives you 10% damage.
Or it can be a bit more hidden, by letting you buy something at day one what you normally need to play weeks and monthes for, so you are weeks and monthes before evryone else who does not pay money and that of course again and again.
No matter what you do in WoW meanwhile, no matter how much money you throw for it to buy gold, what is stupid anyway, the maximum you can buy is from OTHER PLAYERS who by that GOT that power level already. You can't pay to be better than them, they clearly ARE better than you, that's why they can sell such BoE items - or can simply give it away for free.
That they sell it for 1M, 2M, 3M, that's their choice just as its the choice of people who are willing to pay that amount of gold for these items.
You getting carried by your streamer buddies and alike is a bigger probelm than the 2-3 items you got.
If you think WoW is pay to win, you are either an idiots or you lie on purpose to distract from games like Lost Ark and other korean grinder games which are created to milk idiots.

It's relaxed work atmosphere vs you do you job, don't talk, don't listen to musik, no jokes, no fun.
Yeah, the "highschooler" atmosphere (what should by the way not used as an insult, wtf?) is simply much more healthier long term, as long as it does not lead to people simply not doing their job anymore.
But overall: I saw enough 'serious' officers, where people just did shit, wered bored out, burned out - so that's not really the point.

It got nothing to do with jealousy, that's a stupid assumption.
Overall the way Asmon plays it is the same as someone who plays it by just spending real cash, there is no difference. The problem is, that the game makes it such a big difference.
Of course streamer got all their followers which shove things up their ass and of course this always make their gaming experience a lot different anyway. In Lost Ark you can also just buy this with endless money - and even the streamers on top of all the money from other players, throw money at it.
"But you don't NEED that item level."
Funny how this never plays a role in other MMORPGS, when people who for example simply do not raid mythic or even heroic, don't get max item level gear in all places. When you don't do such content, you also don't need that item level and next patch you will pretty much get it for free anyway.
No, not acceptable at all. Even the alts shall get much item level and all stuff, else the game sucks.
Lost Ark takes this and makes it way, way worse and brutally cashes in on it. And the same people: this is wonderful!

After the illegal coup in 2014 the coup regime sent troops to the east (and wanted to do that to crimea, too), where people were against that coup, to surpress it via military violence.
The first soldiers did not follow the command - and partly even switched sides to protect their own people - so the next step was recruiting Neonazis to do the same. This worked in a way that those got less of a prob to kill other people, but since they were dumb and sucked at warfare, they were mainly good at killing civilians by bombarding towns and cities. They often failed by being ignorant and arrogant, walking into traps, getting surrounded = fucked, that's how the whole thing came to the stop we still had until few days ago.
Later there was a treaty, called "Minsk 2", that should solve the whole problem via dialog and all, but the (US/west supported) coup regime gave a fuck to follow it (and for example gave a fuck to follow the duty of the state it got regarding east ukraine, not paying rents and so on) and eventually violence increased again.
After the current government made clear, that they will never follow a peaceful solution of this conflict and instead just wanted to have more military support of the west, especially NATO, to stomp the resistence, Russia finally had enough of that shit after eight years and broke the Ukrainians militarys neck in around an hour.
Now they can't continue to murder the east Ukrainians anymore and drive them of their homeland, so now they MUST follow a different solution.
It's sad, that it took that long, that so many died and had to flee and that it had to be ended this way, but, well, humans suck, especially us greedy westerners, who love to rob the rest of the world...

That's likely just the linked bots which mainly run PvP since years. They are absolute perfect at focus fire, because the bot addon interacts with each other.
Nothing new and they do shit against it.
Anyone can easily find it because it has "minion" in its name, so if you look for FFXIV minion, what most people will search for the, well, minions, you instantly find the bot program.
Square does not care, at all. They at best do something against any kind of hack and alike, if it becomes a bit thing on reddit or their forum, but the cultists will try to shut that down very fast.
They once did something against a failure on their side, where you could use the quite powerful Squadron Limit Break in normal PvE. And another time against another exploit, which let you use PotD pommanders outside. But beside this, they close to never act on anything.

@scotaloo77g73 I don't care what you call it. Normal content = whatever the majority is doing, in contrats to for example raids, which are mainly done by a smaller or bigger minority.
FF14 is overall easy - even Savage and Ultimate. The 'hard' part is, that it's a super scripted fights full of one shot mechanics (in case of Ultimate) and you need the will to repeat it over and over and over again from the start to first learn where the script demands you to stand and then everyone following this. It's more a question of wanting to do something like that - and finding seven other people who are also willing to do it.
If you use addons in FF14, that takes 80%+ of the difficulty out of the fight. The game simlpy does not tell you at all, what the boss is gonna do, so you live.die.repeat your way throught it. The biggest part of the challenge is a guessing game.
Ex trial weapons only play a very small role when the expansion is fresh, because you got ex trials sooner than the raid, it later loses als meaning. When you take the current content for example, it simply drops 580 ilvl equip, while 600 is the raid and tomestone gear (you need to uprade tomestone gear from 590 to 600 of course - you can't upgrade the ex trial weapons at all, though). Ilvl 580 - you can CRAFT that and you get that itemlevel from faceroll normal raid. It's pretty much LFG quality, if someone has ilvl 580, that means he or she does not care at all.

@zhawkmoth3653 Emet Selch was also ruined, though. Could have been very interesting - even more since he was linked to Zenos, but, yeah, wo cares about that and everything at all...
But then Emet Selch must become a complete idiot and fight, lose and die for absolute no reason at all. That guys had literally won, there is nothing you can do and you don't even have ANY kind of plan going on, you just go there and well, punching stuff to death should work as usual.
Ridiculous.
And then peeople go nuts about Warcraft, where they at least every time give you a reason why you and all the armies and powerful people on your side are able to stop something.
In FF14: yeah, you just run in and punc the planet ending threat int he face and that stops it.
I mean, as persiflage this would work well. But they sell it as serious story. That's rididulous.
EW again: let's just fly there, lol, our plot armor will just solve it, lololol. No one got ANY clue of what awaits - and then you get saved by the guy who just wanted to burn down the planet for a duell with you - while never giving a single fuck to just duell you. Indeed, Zenos was utterly ruined even more than Emet Selch.
