Excellent reporting and a wake up call for Taiwan. Thailand is now awakening to China and breaking away, wanting F-35s canceling Chinese submarines and re-establishing US alliances and, I believe better ties with Taiwan. Taiwan needs F-35’s or the joint variety with new Japan fighter based on F-22 under development.

Is this “typical” of some Chinese woman responding many men?🤔Maybe they are just shopping and particular. My fiend is married to a Chinese woman in Canada, but her father is a retired police chief in a major Chinese city. He’s always nervous when they visit China and picked up in a government Limosine with police escort. They’re always handed $10k each to take back to Canada. Most curious. Your story you laughed at reminded me of those two and their son.

We are looking at locating a facility data center in Taiwan and in US linking a quantum network of fiber optic facility which creates an inflight compute network infrastructure. However, the Chinese espionage targets are going to be tempting and serious. My qubit error correcting methodology was just verified by quantum researchers at two different institutions.

Very nice and well done presentation. I appreciate your insights and your Chinese lesson.
5
Lei, insightful analysis.
5
Great presentation! And very accurate on the actual numbers that many have taken hedge fund positions on China as Hayman Capital did on Hong Kong.

Wraponizing Gold won’t work because commodities are not easily traded in digital economies. The realities that new metals and hybrid specialized materials are far more valuable. Shiny rocks once mattered, but not at the scale imagined and a bust cycle could be near.
4
Thank you, Mike Pompeo has been very diligent in checking China’s moves.
4
@Lei’sRealTalk This is perfect since Tencent’s WeChat is using core technology owned by us the creators that makes WeChat and its financial transactions. 🤔 I wonder how Tencent will feel since there are Tencent assets in the US. Maybe we will be able to recover?
4
Thanks, Lei. The kidnapping charges against Chinese police in US could result in long prison sentences. That message needs to get out it to Chinese.
4
Thank you very much. My understanding is that core technology on which the system was built was from Microsoft. My understanding is the technology and some of their hardware were first involved in tracking Uyghur people and identifying organ harvesting targets. I don’t know if this is accurate?
4
That is always the case. Intel is on its way back from such disaster, but now an engineer heads Intel. Boeing needs more reform, which I’m giving them a slight edge to succeed.
4
Lei, great report and analysis. I expected this kind of response and issues with EVs in certain locations. Coal analysts were predicting the “coal” resurgence in China and specific investments were made. Elon Musk has suggested we need many sources of power including nuclear and even coal.
4
The foolishness of the CCP cannot be overestimated. No matter if it is in war or now in these times of economic disaster where now Xi Jinping seeks to Tax home owners out of their houses. They too will face the harshness of winter I fear. Thank you for your well reasoned look at the CCP.
4
Very good analysis. I also see this leak as a way to give the impression of a United CCP when infighting is growing. The chaos caused by corruption and self interest seems to be growing within China as unrest grows among students.
3
Excellent reporting. This was hard to watch, I have 5 children and I can understand going through hard times and stress on family. This is so sad to see these men and wives struggling. I grieve for China, I can understand the pain.
3
Lei, nice reporting and detail. SOEs in a number of areas failed in a miserable fashion I recall. One enterprise on big bucket of corruption? I recall an article I read on failed SOE steel mills that were China’s rust belt and they were saddled with keeping jobs not competitive advantage. My prediction is that this centralized government goes against technological trends and new more efficient scaled operations and it will be a large surface for corruption and cronyism.
3
Thank you Lei. CCP is recruiting IC expertise and product engineers.
3
Thank you, Lei. Very good job, but sanctions will likely spread to China since recovery of funds to rebuild Ukraine will be seized Russian assets and those in countries like China.
3
Very interesting conversation and it does influence my decision on a significant data center in Taiwan.
3
Very spot on! I appreciated the clear eyed and analytical with deep understanding of the human side of suffering.
3
Good analysis, Lei. China’s debt is so bad that no amount of money can fix China, in my opinion. Estimates of combined debt inside China for consumer, business and state debt is near or $136 Trillion. That’s with a “T” and much of it is non performing, compounded by the IOU payables method that can be passed 10 times.
3
Reality is Chinese engines are of poor quality and have substantial rate of failure.
3
This is very good reporting as usual. China is not blacked out from your gaze of investigation and truth telling.
3
Aircraft parts are tied to software and specific planes in many cases. This could fix some issues, but overall it is possibly futile.
3
My company at some point will possibly consider donation to Taiwan’s defense.
3
Excellent work on further developing these economic top socialist central planned disasters in a clear concise presentation of facts.
3
@douginorlando6260 when they buried trains? Humm, I think not and that’s coming from the inside of China. At least, another half baked solution.
3
Sam, I like your logo!😉
3
Greetings, Lei and thank you for your insight.
3
I’m planning on being in Taiwan in January.
3
Excellent presentation and I think some warning in US for too much central control.
3
Arrogance and pride comes before a fall which I suspect is quite prolific on the CCP
3
I think you have done a wonderful job in research and bringing understanding. For me kindness is something I personally embrace, I don’t need to be harsh or confrontational. You do a very clear presentation, your best and I look forward to coming provide contribution in this new year.
3
Lei, thank you for your encouragement and depth of understanding of CCP Politcal Correctness and the western versions similarity. I suspect it too is rooted in anti-spiritual ideology linked to communism.

This is why all of the NOISE should be ignored and China can be busy with its strategies while trying to figure out what the US is REALLY DOING? Ignore the Middle East, let them soak up that RMB, let China get absorbed in doing business. NO IT WILL HURT SUDIS ABD THE PRICE OF OIL WILL FALL LIKE A ROCK! China does not have the economic bandwidth to handle all of this NOR DO SAUDIS, they have their own debt issues if US ramps up energy production we can sink them in three months. Let the US be busy with Taiwan, Japan SE Asia and Europe...

Can’t wait to see it Namewee has a Music Video about this forthcoming? “Fragile” and “Ghost Island”(Taiwan) were terrific.
2
With essentially functionally bankrupt banking system about 3 weeks ago the PBOC went to the Federal Reserve Bank for assistance with their liquidity and inadequate reserve problems. The Fed did agree to “some” assistance, but at some point at the PRC Great China Ponzi Scheme will collapse. It is on the edge now it not over hanging by a thread. Can it afford the chip industry? Can it afford food?
2
Congratulations on your 4 years and tea invention.
2
You are doing a great job. I hope to provide more support to your work.
2
When you figure the “shadow debt” of “shadow USD” bonds sold to foreign investors on “backdoor markets” and debt owed to Chinese people by CCP theft which CCP “promised to provide” indirectly and corporate IOUs often passed inside China actually multiply it into the unimaginable numbers of $136 Trillion when figuring that “owed” to Chinese people which they’ll never see! The factors if short on RMB and Dollars!
2
Again, I spoke with my Foundation President to direct donation to you. Within the next couple of weeks you should have that.
2
Thank you for a wake up call, Lei!
2
Lei, with inflation I think we may need Lei’s $5 Army, learning Chinese and joining those who expose the CCP.
2
So Hong Kong and the disaster within China has become a horrible mess as a result of this infighting. The debt load is horrific and real numbers are approaching will over 600% of GDP and likely over 800% with all SOE liabilities and regional financial institutions. Crumbling roads and mess of localities debt is an issue. Xi Jinping is being outsmarted st every turn inside China.
2
Excellent report, Lei. I just watched a series on Chinese History last night.
2
You “Hahaha” demonstrates lack of understanding of material process failures and Chinese dependence on outside assistance. Case in point, Chinese Space Program is the Ukraine space program, but Xi Jinping burned that bridge foolishly. Corruption in China is a 5,000 year history of repeated failure and collapses. At the heart of everyone is corruption which will be the end of the CCP.
2
Lei, thanks for thought provoking topic. China’s looming economic disaster will certainly bring China’s mess to the US doorstep, but these cases brought may in fact create more problems for a economically flagging China than the realize. It could have the opposite of the intended effect, including the Chinese bonds defaulted on by the CCP decades ago and other current multi-billion defaults.
2
China prepares for war, I had a call with friend in Shanghai today and they were even traveling to Tibet. Then to Tibet. Shows no prep.
2
Lei, I think both China and Russia are in a death hug.
