  1. A lot of people have an irrational hate for Trump and that's a big problem. When you base your decisions on extreme emotion, whether it be love or hate, you'll make irrational decisions. I've never seen such severe hate, for one person, in all my 70 years of life.

  2.  @ShadowKatt  And you WON'T debate it. YOU'RE correct and should never be questioned, challenged or disagreed with. People are still individuals, EVEN your children. They will think, do and say what they will as part of their struggle to assert their newfound maturity. I know of a family where 6, out of 7, of the kids are all hard working, some a little religious and have raised wonderful kids. One daughter, the second child of the 7, has had drug and alcohol issues, been in and out of jail, worked as a hooker, has been in religious cults, and the rest of the family looks on in complete confusion and dismay. I know that they had good parents because those parents are my parents and that sister is MY sister. One of the cruelest things that you can do when parents are going through hell, with their children, is to tell them that it's ALL their fault. It's a blanket assumption and doesn't look at individual situations. It's so easy to sit in judgement of others, even when you don't know them.

  4. "Doing the devil's work" is just a phrase. It's something that you say when you believe that someone is doing wrong. You don't have to be religious to appreciate the meaning of it. Ukraine is a democracy. Zelensky was elected as the president of Ukraine. That's a democracy. They do have serious corruption problems. There's no doubt of that. Don't dismiss the entire message because but certain phrases don't sit well with you. If you're waiting for the perfect message, you'll be waiting forever.

Some people can't make that link between cause and correlation. They refuse to admit that they may be part of the reason that things are going so badly in California by their voting practises. People seem to have this idea that if one person is bad, that every person that opposes him is good. Just because Hitler was a horrible man then, because Stalin fought him, Stalin is a good guy. I don't buy that. I think that Biden is another corrupt swamp creature in Washington and his past record validates my assessment. You can gloat, all you want, that there's another swamp creature in the White House, but Biden is NOT a good choice for president. No more than having Trump as president.

  7. They changed the language of the opinion piece because they wanted language that would prompt prejudice against the writer. It's their, no so subtle, way of saying that she's wrong and they want the reader to feel that way, too. They manipulated her opinion to reflect their own opinion on what she wrote. Disgraceful.

How the Democrats, Rinos, Big Tech, the Corporations and the media all worked together in their hope to get the right results. Explains why twitter, Youtube and Facebook wouldn't allow the NY Post article about Hunter Biden's laptop to appear on their platforms. How unsolicited ballots were sent through the mail, approved by state government edict, which is against the Constitution. How any attempt by Republicans to ensure that votes were properly accounted for would lead to accusations of racism and vote tampering. Imagine, supporting the idea that a voter shouldn't have to present an ID to vote. Yet it's the Republicans that are cheating? Okay....if you say so......?

  12.  @seanmcintyre131  Hello from Canada. I've been waiting 7 months to see a nose, ear and throat specialist. Haven't heard work ONE from them. Add that to the 14 years that I've had serious sinus issues and I didn't have a doctor to refer me to a specialist. I'm getting close to 15 years with constant sinus pain. I finally, after 23 years of no family doctor, found one last December. That set me on my next wait to see a specialist. I know a woman who waited 16 months to make an appointment with a hearing specialist. They finally called when she was at work. At break, she checked her phone and called the specialist right back. The receptionist said that it was too late, the time slot was filled and she'd have to contact her doctor to schedule another appointment. When my friend complained, she said "sorry" and hung up. We have serious health care problems here and we're not going to fix it by continuously comparing ourselves to the United States. Stop worrying about their system and start fixing what's wrong here. This "out of pocket" stuff about the US doesn't help us one bit. We need to improve OUR system, not their's.

I don't agree with everything they say, on principle, but they show me things that I need to hear to get a full perspective. The regular media, in Canada, might be worse than the American media and it's awful. When a retired bartender, living in a basement apartment, in another country, can find the real clip of the Covington kids in ten minutes, proving that CNN and their ilk are lying.....NOT WRONG, but lying, that proves that the media, in both countries, are completely corrupt. Thank God for sites like this and Rebel Media.

  18. In the late sixties, I let my hair grow longer, like the hippies were doing. My dad told my I looked ridiculous and like I was a druggie or something to that effect. I didn't like it at the time but by the time I was 21, I got over it. By the time I was his age, 35 years old, I'd have been embarrassed to even talk the way he did about his parents. My parents are human and of course they made mistakes. However, they housed, fed and clothed me till I was old enough to look after myself. That's all that anyone really needs to know about them. The rest is just superfluous noise. He's a crybaby, a synonym for victim.

If there was a person there, at this round table, that was a proponent of critical race theory, it would turn into a fiasco of arguing and accusations. It wouldn't be a discussion. I would prefer to hear their ideas on how this is hurting us without someone interrupting and calling them racists over and over again.

  20.  @bt9704  Any reasonable person arrives with appropriate skepticism about any statement made no matter who says it. It's the basic tenet of academia. "Test the claim". That statement by Fox's lawyers is a "DUH" statement. Anyone who puts out a statement and then doesn't want anyone to validate that statement is hiding something. Even Tucker admits that he gets carried away and lies. He doesn't want to but he's human. So stop with the name calling. If he says something that you disagree with, point it out and gives evidence to prove that he's wrong. Name calling means nothing. Don't argue "people". It makes no sense. Argue ideas. People are complex and unpredictable. Ideas are foundational and are to be discussed and validated. That's how the mature academic approaches people and life.

Having been a teenager back in the 60's, in small town Ontario, all I can say is, that if this pandemic would have happened in 1972, good luck trying to impose lockdowns, social distancing, small gatherings and masks. We wouldn't have put up with it and our parents would have been furious at being told that they couldn't go to work. We sure have changed.

  28. I sometimes can't help but feel as if this has been the Democrat agenda every since they failed to stop the Civil Rights Act. They lost the fight to keep slavery so they introduced Jim Crow. When they lost Jim Crow they took on a new tact and a clever one. One where the minorities will gladly and willfully accept apartheid back, in the US, but in a new form. It's just a nagging suspicion that won't go away.

They called it the "Antifaschistischer Schutzwall" which translate to English as the "Anti-Fascist Protection Rampart". Antifa is short for "Anti-Fascist". The East Germans would stand on that "Rampart" and shoot to kill any East German that tried to leave East Germany. You see, they thought that EVERYONE in the west was a Fascist, exactly what the members of Antifa in the US believe. Everyone, that's not them or doesn't believe in their Marxist agenda, is a Fascist. That's almost EVERY American. You're either a Marxist or you're as delusional as they get.

It received a great deal of attention when a school in Alaska said that it was too graphic for minors and had it banned. Maybe you should be paying more attention, especially if you have family members who are minors.

If they add spots, it's called increasing enrollment and they still should go to the best minds that apply. When you add a spot and say it's ONLY available to a certain race, you're discriminating against ALL other races. That goes against the Civil Rights Act and that Act is explicit on what constitutes discrimination based on race, religion, gender, etc. If schools are failing in their education mandates....FIX it. Don't discriminate based on race in education. Do what's necessary in those schools, so the children can have as good an education as others do. We force our kids to go to school and then refuse to give them all same academic environments. Support the political candidates who would do that. Our primary and high schools are at the heart of discrimination based on race and you're proposing to fix it by discriminating in universities and not bothering a failed education system. What a horrible way of doing things.

So are SOME coaches, scout leaders, teachers, Hollywood personalities. They all did it to get access to kids. Priests just took advantage of the sanctity of the confessional which these other groups couldn't do. That's what was the unique problem in the Catholic Church. Also, the seven deadly sins, in Christian terms, is analogous to saying the seven deadly vices. Horace, a Roman writer who lived BEFORE there even was a Church said...."to flee vice is the beginning of virtue and to have got rid of folly is the beginning of wisdom." This isn't a Christian invention Vices are the actions that will tear your life apart. A Christian might call them a sin but they're the same thing. Also, I'm NOT a Christian so don't bother attacking me that way.

The oppressive fear was that palpable. Yet, 5 years later, he watched those same Nazis run like hell from the Allied forces. As long as you're alive and you have hope, they haven't won. The only way they'll win is if you let them......"they've already won". You've lost before you've even started. These racist jerks aren't going to win today, either. It's not up to teachers or school administrators to tell our kids that this lifestyle is good OR bad. Morality is NOT the purview of our government institutions. It's why religion isn't taught in our public and government funded schools. It's considered an ideology and our schools shouldn't be in the ideology business.

A stepping stone to the future just like my dad did when he immigrated. He worked as a farm hand to start, took on a better job 8 months later, bought a small farm 6 years later and is now 92, living on that same farm and satisfied with what he has accomplished. He didn't start out with a farm, bought and paid for. He worked his way there along side my mother and when we, myself and my 6 siblings, were old enough we pitched in and did chores around the farm. It brought meaning to all our lives.

That's why, when this country was more religious and therefore more to the right, the country was growing and flourishing. You can't solve the everyday problems of running a business, farm or household with emotions. It takes thought and logic and the left is all about emotions. They play to those emotions and once it becomes the norm, you can see the country deteriorate. The right will want to fix it through hard work and wise decisions. The left will want to fix it by advocating for equity, fairness, inclusion and the like. However, that doesn't make the potatoes grow. Only hard work, knowledge and the application of common sense can do that.

It's a poor insurrection that has NO guns, NO command structure and no short term, let alone long term, goals. The term is "insurrection" is being used for political gain. It wasn't NEARLY as dangerous or destructive as last year's BLM riots or the actions of Antifa around the country.

  49.  @solveigvan808  Any doctor that performs that kind of procedure is DEFINITELY part of the problem. "I was only following orders" was deemed an illegitimate defence at Nuremberg. That doesn't absolve those at the top but it surely doesn't let the ones that are wielding the scalpels innocent, either. Every person, that's supposed to be a medical professional, is responsible for their own actions in these issues. Even turning a blind eye makes one ethically responsible even if it's a grey legal area.
