  1.  @minkman99  Isn't it strange, that when a book is written about a extremist religious society, a certain demographic all simultaneously start nodding their heads in the brilliant depiction of a dystopian society. A dystopian society controlled by limiting their speech and actions through ideological force. However, when it's pointed out that there is another ideology that uses the control of speech and action, through the use of political correctness, you defend it to the core. I suppose it's not that imposition is wrong, it's in what ideology you follow. I repeat, I'm not a Christian. I think that one should be able to voice their beliefs, no matter what they are and NO one should limit it through religious decree or under the guise of political correctness.

It is the view of the progressives that it's impossible for a minority to discriminate. This is another ridiculous claim but it's what they say. Also, it's a mistake to think that trans men speak for biological men. They don't. I've yet to speak to any man that thinks that trans men should be competing with women. In fact, most men, that I know, look down at any man that would even consider it. This entire phenomena is a mindset that uses discrimination as tool to gain power. It's insidious and is tearing the west apart and this trans athlete "controversy" is just a small part of a bigger problem.

  3.  @MawcDrums  Ate their products all the time. I didn't care about the company one way or the other. I did start caring about them when certain people wanted to destroy them for the views of their founding family. I don't want to see anyone destroyed and I cared about that. Before that proposed boycott, I had no reason to "care" about them or be concerned that people would destroy them to satisfy their own political ego. Now I do.

  4.  yeah, right  It can't be nepotism because the presidency isn't an appointed position by the previous president. The RNC has to go through the process and they're not related to the Trumps. If Ivanka is to run for the presidency, she'll have to earn by showing that she can do it....and she just might do just that. Of course, it won't hurt her chances if Trump does a good job in his second term.

  6. WHAT????? Since everyone going to die someday, every doctor is going to have patients who will die. What person, in his right mind, would want to be a doctor if they're always under the gun of being attacked, sued and on the brink of losing all that they've ever worked for. That's insane.

  7.  @gojobuddy  And if you sue doctors for every little thing, medical insurance will go up and so will malpractice insurance. Your visit to the doctor will go up and up and higher. A death in the family should NOT be a lottery win. Only sue if the doctor intentionally did something wrong or showed that he didn't care about his patient and did things that LED to their death. Other than that, if he tried his best and the patient dies, accept it, like a man. Doctors don't hold the power over life and death. They're not Gods. They're as human as the rest of us. The only ones who get rich on medical malpractice are the lawyers.

Rowling effect. No matter what you say, someone will be hounding you. They have lots of money and they want to enjoy it. I don't blame them. I might be disappointed that they don't speak up but it's their choice.

I've watched them all on TV and she always seemed the most overwhelming when she was on, hitting the ball with such power and a most intimidating force exuding from around her. Does that mean that we deserve the same fate as the Israeli "colonisers" did on that horrible day? That doesn't bode well for our country if we allow their influence to take root and grow.

I said that this person could have made a good point and he MAY have, that's not a narrative, just a possibility, said this because it was a concern. He may have been screaming at people about it or he MAY have said something along the lines of "I've said this lots of time but I think...." I DON'T KNOW.....but apparently you know enough about this person to call him and extremist. I'm saying that you don't have enough information to do that. Also, you've assumed that this person is American. It doesn't state where this person is from. You just assumed it for no real reason. Another narrative that you've wrote for yourself. Then I said that I don't like to live in fear and then, somehow and incomprehensibly, you asked me if I was afraid and then made an assumption that I was American. Now 2 of us are American...or even possibly 3 of us and you did this without knowing any of us. The commenter was responding to an original point about the psychological effects being worse than the disease. She says that she has a friend that says the same thing and this friend has said it multiple times. Then you come up with how afraid Americans are and how Sweden didn't have those crazy lockdowns, which kind of validates what she was talking about. That this fear CAN be psychologically worse than the disease like it is in the US. I didn't say that, YOU did. It seems as if you agree with him but I don't know. However, your statement does suggest that. Then you go on about Trump letting it spread. So I asked a rhetorical question. Does Trump rule the world......meaning does he have that much influence that the entire world is gripped with Covid and it's all his fault? The disease was spreading in Italy before it started to spread in the US...like I've mentioned and I'm sure that Trump wasn't responsible for that. Also, you're the one that brought up Sweden and Europe and there's been some severe lockdowns in Europe and some awful riots in protest in England, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Germany. So the US isn't the only place that's living in fear. As a matter of fact, we are here in Canada, too. Now the economy is hurting. I know people that have lost their businesses. The US is in even worse shape. Another area of our lives where the fear of Covid might have consequences that may make things worse than the disease. The point made is not exactly without merit. I've not wrote any narrative about anyone else. I've laid out possibilities by using myself as an example. A possibility is NOT a narrative. It's laying out an idea. Yet, that prompted you to suggest that I must be an extremist as well. Nice leap of logic there. I'm not the one that started calling people names. That's all I can say about the subject.

  15.  @billsimms2511  I'm not a psychologist but I think it has to do with the government programs which allows them to live for free without any effort. It's a welfare system and you'll see that kind of attitude from any group of people, no matter the race or culture. It's a system that rots the mind and kills any sense of pride that a person might have. That same system killed the Soviet Union. People need a sense of purpose for themselves, personal goals. No goals and they care about nothing. Mind you, that's just my opinion.

  18.  @csmidt2885  None of what I said is "faux news" You've even acknowledged that those areas exist and I've acknowledged that the more rural areas ARE quite beautiful. However, ignoring what's going on in the cities is also ignoring that this is a terrible trend that didn't exist 20 years ago. There is also the problems of high taxes, high energy costs, high housing costs, high crime and other issues that have been driving people out of California since 2020. 2021 saw the very first time in California history in which the population went DOWN. It's never happened before and that indicates that there are issues that are prompting this exodus. When you ignore problems, you'll never fix them and THAT is the biggest problem in California, today.

He may have gone into a specialised field, just like I have into construction, but that doesn't make him infallible, nor does it mean that I've never made a mistake when building something. We're human. Just pray that there won't be people sitting over your shoulder, watching everything that you do and then pouncing on things that you may do wrong and castigating you for it. We're human. We'll make mistakes. Show a little compassion and be glad that he's recovering instead of gloating over his troubles. That's as low as it gets.

The man has been surgeon for 30 years and has saved countless lives. I hate what happened to me but I'm not going to discount the good the man has done, either. I'm saying that you're gloating because, you refuse to acknowledge the endorsements of those he has helped. You centre on the negative and that's it and this claim that you've come out, spotless, under bigger scrutiny that he has ever seen, shows me that you're using it to pat your own back. "I'm WAY better than he is. He screwed up". Which brings me this. Who are you? A guy that claims that he's undergone deeper scrutiny than Peterson who doesn't have the courage to use his own name? I have felt the same as you do but I look at my daughter and my grandkids and all the people that call ME a friend (that always amazes me) and I know that my life has been worthwhile and that I've made a difference. There's no point in comparing yourself with others. Compare yourself to the person that you were yesterday. That's what's going to count to those that you care about.

I mentioned an article about Hunter Biden's laptop in which his father, who is on the ticket, was implicated in some crooked dealings in China and Ukraine. That does have implications in an election. And do you really want Big Tech to curtail that information. To have the government, like Jen Psaki said, to work with Facebook to flag "misinformation"? Do we now have a governmental department called the "Ministry of Truth"? Since when is it up to anyone to tell me what is true or not? I'm not like you. I don't want to be TOLD what's true. I want to see the evidence, good and bad, even fake, so I can assess it for myself, like a free thinking adult. Also, how is asking for ID making it harder to vote? Every western country requires ID to vote. Even a corrupt country like Mexico does. I know that Canada, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Japan....I could go on and on, require voter ID when voting. It's so people can't jump from voting precinct to voting precinct to vote repeatedly. Funny how voter ID is racist but vaccine passports, that require ID isn't. Are we going to exempt certain people from showing vaccine passports because it's racist? Also, anyone can request a mail in ballot. That would give that ballot a chain of possession which is completely different than sending ballots, en masse, through the mail. If you can explain how the Republicans are making voting harder, with EVIDENCE, I'll look at it but I have to warn you. I read the entire Georgia voting bill, the "Jim Crow 2.0" bill and found nothing. That entire claim was bogus.

  26.  @Bfettrules  Those guys on CNN or MSNBC have no idea what people need or how to live on 100k a year. Also, people used to have a lot more kids than that and they didn't have near the money that they do now. Most families, in the 1930s through 50s had at least that many kids and didn't have NEAR the money that people have now. If you can't keep a family with 4 kids afloat on 100k, you're expectations are too high and you're not doing it right. I know lots of families that are getting by on less than that. You find a way.

  27.  @Bfettrules  That's ridiculous. If you rent or buy a house, it will cost the same amount of money to have one more person to live there. The mortgage doesn't double because there are now 2 people living there or triple because there are 3 people in that house. Same as with the heat. It costs almost the same to heat a house for one person as it does for 4. You buy food in bulk. You learn how to live. A 3 year old doesn't eat NEAR what a 20 year old does. It's quite apparent that you've never raised a family before.

You're making assumptions about a man that can't speak for himself because he's gone. Like any person alive, he did good things and bad things. I don't judge him on his mistakes or even his accomplishments. I will commend and applaud his statement that we should be judged on our character, NOT on the colour of our skins. One thing is certain. BLM is all about skin colour. They view everything through the lens of race. That's NOT judging by character at all. It's a judgement of skin colour. Nevertheless, even knowing that he said this, I still can't say for certain if he'd have supported BLM or not. Neither can you. You're engaging in a pointless exercise. By the way, it was Democrat in California, BIG supporters BLM, that wanted to repeal the California Civil Rights Act. The act, based on the Federal Civil Rights Act, that Dr. Martin Luther King worked hard to put into place. No discrimination or preferential treatment based of group identity or beliefs. I'm not sure on this but I'm going to say that MLK would NOT have supported anything like this.

Matthew 25:40 I'm no Christian but that was my guide when looking at the actions of BLM. They acted as if they were the virtuous ones but any organisation that would support the destruction of businesses, homes, vehicles and the lives of those they say that they were helping, would NEVER get my support. They went to the neighbourhoods of Black America and cheered on the loss of life, property, jobs and homes of those who lived there. They didn't have any regard for the people that had to pick up the pieces after the destruction.....the very people that they claimed to stand for.

You're cancelling people, quietly and politely, and ignoring ideas and issues. This interview wasn't about Rubin or Crowder or Richmond. It's about a part of American culture that's very troubling, yet you skip right over that and attack Rubin, cloaking it with good manners, mind you, but not taking the topic seriously at all. That's the real meat of everything that they were talking about.

They want others to prove a negative, something that is irrational in spirit and impossible to accomplish. You appeared to couch your question with your seemingly innocent remark about laziness. Worship is too strong a word. Admiration would be the word that I would use. She's has a death sentence hanging over her head but she doesn't stop doing what she believes in. Invalidating her position by suggesting that she may have skeletons in her closet is not only a cheap way to win an argument, it's a tactic that is almost always going to have a degree of success. Almost everyone on the planet has things in their past they're not proud of. Look deep enough and you'll find it and I don't care who you are. There are elements to Islam, the ideology, that are counter productive to a healthy and free society. For an apostate Muslim to point that out takes courage. It could get them killed. For that, she deserves our thanks and our admiration.

Smaller population in Canada would allow them larger representation and influence than it would in the US where New York, Chicago and California would do all the dictating. It's like she said in the video. Big city voters, who have no idea on how their food gets to the table, telling the rural and agricultural producers what's important in running their business in which they're the experts. It would be no different than the population telling the expert at the local nuclear plant on how it should be run. The population should have input but they shouldn't force their lack of expertise on those that know their business. They should have enough power to mitigate corruption and apathy, though. It's a balancing act.

First of all, when your state downgrades theft, as a crime, to be anything under $1000, then crime stats go down. They've reduced this low theft to a misdemeanour which means it's NOT included in crimes stats. That skews property crime stats. Reference the "summer of love". Billions of dollars in damages, thousands sent to hospital, businesses and homes lost and most of it not counted on the crime stats because local DAs just let them go. Call the police and they either don't show up or they take a few notes and that's the last of it. People aren't bothering to report those crimes. Blue states have basically legalised the use of hard drugs in the streets. Addicts are everywhere and they're leaving their needles on the streets, parks and people's lawns and the police just look the other way. Do that in Florida and you go to jail No wonder these states are "safe". When you don't count the crime your stats don't mean a thing.

  45.  @sthubbins4038  Why are YOU ignoring all the accusations of election fraud in 2005 and, especially in 2016? They actually spent 35 million bucks for a commission to look into it. That's not insane. Yet, there was NOTHING. Spending all that money and saying "Not my president" is rational but, with some of the irregularities exposed by Project Veritas in Minneapolis, and the arrest of Rachel Rodriguez, in Texas, show that there were problems. Both cases showed huge problems with a blanket mail system....yet NO ONE is allowed to say nothing because that's insane. You absolutely REFUSE to discuss those things. Saying that he wanted to find the votes to win isn't illegal. It's wishful thinking at best and rather foolish at worst...but so what? I'll bet Hillary wished she could have found the evidence for collusion. Isn't that insane. By your standards....yes, but I have a feeling insanity lies only with your political views. You can't even see the hypocrisy in your logic.

I grew up watching Milton Berle and Flip Wilson do comedy bits in drag on their TV shows and everyone thought it was hilarious. Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis went in drag in the movie "Some Like it Hot" and everyone thought it was hilarious. In fact, it's one of the top rated movies of the fifties. No one thought any of it was weird back then and people were WAY more conservative and religious back then than they are now. You might be reading WAY too much into it.
