  3. You have to throw "naive" in there as well. A lot of them won't admit that maybe they were wrong about China and they keep doubling down on their previous naivete. We're taught, in our schools, to see the best in people. "Maybe Johnny's a bully because his daddy and mommy are mean to him". It's never the fault of the person who's doing wrong. Individual responsibility is seen as alt-right. People commit crimes because of social injustice. Always passing the buck and if you say otherwise, you're spreading hate and should be censored or cancelled. It's time we accept the wrong within us, along with the best.

  5.  @brandonrandall3861  Only if they try to reason with them. A good leader, or mayor, doesn't give them the opportunity to do what they did to this mayor. A strong mayor would support the police, call in the National Guard if necessary and do what's right for the people of his/her city. They don't let the mob rule. It's not why they were elected.

Once they start to break the law, you send in riot squads and you cart them off to jail. Use lots of cameras to videotape crimes and don't be so liberal with bail. Repeat offenders don't get bail. Won't be long and you'll see only the hardcore come out to "peacefully" protest. People have lives to live. Not everyone can afford to be full time revolutionaries. You don't have to shoot anyone.

We've all become "Joe McCarthy's" searching out the racists and denouncing them on the flimsiest of evidence....no evidence much of the time. Standards have been set that no one could pass and those who fail those test, and they undoubtedly will, are denounced, humiliated, lose their jobs, friends and alienated from their family. Those tests are no different than the witch tests of the past. If she drowns...she's innocent. If she lives...she's guilty and must be burned at the stake. That's the purity test. And we ALL fail that test. Everyone of us. It's only the one that holds the power that can escape the wrath of the mob. Just hope that you can maintain that power because all it will take is for someone, anyone, that doesn't like you, to denounce you as a racist....the enemy of the people, as they used to say in Stalinist Soviet Union.

  8.  HMR B  At least he's negotiating. He's farther ahead in dealing with North Korea than any other president since the Korea war. That was all on his initiative. Also, there was no dealing with Pelosi. She was only going to accept one thing. One dollar to build a wall. That's not negotiating. The Dems were not going to allow Trump to come through on that election promise. They are not going to allow it to happen so there was no negotiating. They finally gave him a small amount because they were afraid another shut down might hurt them. Trump is negotiating a better trade deal with China. He's introduced an initiative to end the decriminalisation of homosexuality all around the world. He has introduced an order that gives economically depressed zones in the US the ability to take advantage of incentives to improve the economy of those areas. He's started a fund to help educate and encourage women entrepreneurs in 3rd world countries. He's done a lot of good things that you'll never hear on CNN or the other left wing outlets because they're too vested in their campaign to denigrate and finally oust Trump. This is the most biased the left media has been in my lifetime and I'm an old man.

All "peaceful" protests like that. The BLM protests in Washington DC caused more damage and injuries than Jan 6th did. They even surrounded the White House, setting fires and threatening security, to the point where the president and his family had to seek refuge in a safety bunker. They laughed at that but were appalled at Jan 6th. I don't see the difference. Do you?

No one should ever think that he knows it all and that self reflection is never necessary. What got us into this mess is the human propensity to envy. It's the socialist mantra. "If he has it and I don't, then he doesn't deserve it". Every child believes that. "How come Johnny can have one and I can't". They never look to themselves to improve their life. It's always someone else's responsibility. Envy is one of the seven deadly sins for a reason and the call against coveting is one of the Ten Commandments, one of the Big Ten. It's that serious. My willingness to look at all the facts, led me that conclusion, even though I'm not a Christian. Had I not been a classical liberal, I wouldn't look at all facts and ideas and I'd be one of the left wing ideologues who refuses to listen and wants to shut the mouths of those who disagree with them. If I wasn't a liberal, I'd never understand that it's my responsibility to see that I do more than assert my rights because I'd never have taken the time to think these things through. I'd accept what I was told by a world that obsessed with equity. Also, I make sure that I deserve those rights by trying to be honest, hard working and responsible and always ready to improve myself by honest self introspection. Most people, these days, try to change the world by some crusade against the evil in others. I try to change the world by realising that the evil is within me and that I have to be in a continuous battle for self improvement. If you think that's wrong, so be it.

  21.  @Post-Trib  Drivers are unfamiliar with roundabouts. Is that forever? They'll NEVER get used to them??? Roundabouts help clear traffic congestion, saves on fuel which is also good for the environment and lessons traffic accidents. I've driven in the Netherlands, which was installing roundabouts all over, about 5 years ago. Within a couple of days, I was accustomed to them and actually found them a lot better than going through traffic lights. So chin up and try something new.

To the progressive, this is another way in which the system is rigged along racial lines. It's rigged against people like her. Ergo....she's a part of the victim class and a victim. She doesn't say this, explicitly, in this video, but it's a part of her overall ideology. It's no different than seeing a clip of Dr. Martin Luther King. He may not say that hes a Christian in that video clip but it's well known that he's a Christian. In the same way, we know that Abrams is a progressive. Also, Abrams is comparing her fight to that of the Ukrainian people. The Ukraines are a victim of the Russian invasion. If her fight is analogous to that of Ukraine, she's implying that she's a victim and she's representing those who share her victim status.

When Trump announced the travel ban, at the end of January, the media was the one that vilified Trump for it, saying the flu kills more than the virus does and that he was racist and xenophobic. De Blasio telling people to get out, don't worry and both him and Pelosi told people to go to the Chinese New Year's Parades in their respective cities. Also, Tucker Carlson and Greg Gutfield spoke about the virus in January, one of the earliest. This crisis is unprecedented. No one, on Feb 1st, could have predicted, with certainty, that we'd be where we are now. You don't have to like Trump or Fox News but you should be honest in how you gather information and how it's assessed and don't allow a bias to rule your thought processes.

It happened in the US as well and each state was allowed to set it's own policies on how it was handled, as per the Constitution. Guess what states imposed the strictest lockdowns and had the most severe economic downturns. That's right....Democrat states. In fact, people are leaving those states for places like Florida, Texas, W. Virginia and Tennessee......all Republican states. I'm not a party hack but this is the truth. How you could go on about a recession and not say ONE WORD about Covid, shows just how dishonest you are....and quit simpering over an ordinary man. "Biden is so strong and Powerful!!!" Can you get any more fawning than that? This has to be a joke, some kind of satire.

  29. Do you really think that they need a vaccine to do this? They can do this in a multitude of ways. Nanobots in our food that attach themselves to the lining of your intestines or in the brain. In the water supply maybe. Millions of them released periodically so everyone has them inside them. All they need is for one of them to succeed in its programming to attach itself to the human body. In fact, you could have them in your body already. Now, they want to approach you and question you on motives. Not "Where were you on Friday?" but "Why were you THERE on Friday?"   33. Thousands of schools are just sitting empty. Why not use some of them as makeshift hospitals? These are government buildings, just sitting there. When the caseload goes down, do a sterilisation program so the buildings are virus free when the kids go back to school. Why is it that politicians are so devoid of common sense?

There does seem to be a correlation between that affliction and the ability to assess information, specifically the automatic, knee jerk, negative reaction to anything that President Trump without study or data being applied.

  36. @GA477 Read my earlier comment. There are some facts there that imply that this may not be true. I suppose, had the Democrats been in power, they wouldn't have been zeroed in on the impeachment. That was the centre of their attention back in January and early February while Covid was taking hold. Had they been focusing on real issues and threats at the time, maybe they could have saved some lives but I doubt it. They would have been more forceful in their opposition to the "xenophobic" travel bans to China instead of claiming it was a contrived distraction to get the focus away from impeachment. However, we JUST DON'T KNOW.

What you want to do is quarantine EVERYONE until there is no measles in the country. Then we must do that with the flu, chickenpox, Covid-19, SARS, tuberculosis or whatever the current disease might be. Perpetual lockdown until all contagious disease has been eliminated. It's one thing to practise social distancing on a cooperative scale but another to impose it, on force of state penalty on every citizen. However, had he not stated his belief that men and women are different and that men should stay out of women's bathroom's, he would NOT have been suspended. He could have went to school just like he always has. They put him into a position in which the charge of trespassing was possible. It's a word trick.....a sleight of hand. "Oh no.....he wasn't charged for his beliefs. He was charged for trespassing". It's as disingenuous as it gets. If it wasn't for stating his religious beliefs, at a religious school no less, he wouldn't have been suspended. THAT'S the real travesty. People have the right to believe as they will. To suspend someone, from a religious school, for quoting scripture to support his beliefs, is beyond ridiculous. It's wrong and the school should pay for it.
