  1.  @jamesmccarte1609  The conviction of a felony has always carried with it a loss of rights. That's nothing new. A convicted felon should try to work his way back into society, as a contributing member. It's part of the rehab process. If a convicted felon doesn't even want to make the effort to try to re-establish themselves, including winning back the right to vote, that's their decision. They're the ones that put themselves into that position. It's only right that they pull themselves out. That's what I did and I know others that did the same thing. I did it in atonement for those that I hurt. If I couldn't do that, then I don't deserve to win back those rights. The country owes me nothing....but I owe my victims everything and I'll gladly do what's required.

Interbreeding, the joining of near identical genetic material, causes birth defects or inbreeding depression. This greatly inhibits the survivability of advanced species like mammals. Binary sex is at the heart of our ability to survive. Without it, we die. Worms are NOT an advanced species. Although successful, they haven't advanced, as a species, in over 1/2 a billion years. To advance, as a species, they need to introduce new genetic material every time they reproduce. If they don't do that, they will regress to where they are now.

Big city folk join gangs (sound real safe) or try to live in some kind of gated community, believing that will keep them safe. That leaves the average person to the mercy of the criminal element. They then vote for DAs that are soft on crime because of their belief that they've made safe choices. That leaves the average person to the mercy of the criminal element. In the rural areas, we don't TRUST politicians so we like to protect ourselves from the dangers of OUR environment. Different threats call for different means of protection. I'd suggest voting for politicians that will protect you over those who would do you harm and we'll look after ourselves.

  5. Not it's not. We have the right to create a society that mitigates unlawful harm but "feeling safe" is a myth. My daughter is terrified of spiders. She'll to into hysterics and will run in fear when she sees one. She doesn't feel safe. How am I going to legislate or dictate that she "feels safe" unless I kill ALL spiders? We have the right to confront and conquer our fears, if possible. That's it. "Feeling safe" is an impossibility.

One may be intelligent but due to economic realities, they don't get the education that would allow that intelligent to be brought to its full potential. It's NOT that they're smarter. They were able to to challenge that intelligence to its fullest potential due to the availability of information and how to use it. Without intelligence, that education would be lost on the student. The intelligence is already there to be developed into specific areas of learning.

  8. I can't stand listening to those mayors. They play stupid words games to deflect and avoid being honest and truthful. Even George Orwell couldn't envision the deceit that's on display here and he did a good job describing what people with their ideology are like. They are the worst of the worst. No wonder people don't trust our election process. Common sense would dictate that no one would elect these used car salesman unless election fraud was rampant.

They very seldom read an entire article and never get to the part that lightly mentions the truth and you'll find that truth in the last paragraph. Google "Dexter Reed". You'll see a group of headlines saying how Reed was fired at nearly 100 times and killed without ever mentioning that he shot the first shot. Those headlines are lies by omission. Google is doing it intentionally. In other words, it's almost like the small print in a crooked contract or a pharmaceutical product description. The truth or the bad parts are always at the end and in tiny print. It's designed to protect themselves in case of litigation. That's why I always read the entire article and then use the last paragraph, their metaphorical disclaimer, to help me find out what really happened. If you don't, you will believe their lies. A sure way to lose your freedom is to believe lies and then act on them. Read the end first. Quite often, that's where the truth will lie.

I, for one, would, most definitely, not going to start shooting to protect that vehicle, especially if the people get out of a vehicle with police lights, have weapons and are wearing jackets that say police on it. It doesn't matter if he knows why they pulled him over or not. I've been pulled over and had no idea what the reason was. Once, it was because my truck, a rather unusual vehicle, fit the description of a truck owned by a person wanted for assault. I complied with their demands, gave all the necessary paperwork, answered all their questions and they let me go with an explanation and apology. All he had to do was comply and he'd be alive today. Instead he resisted and started shooting. HE started shooting. If you don't want to get shot, don't drive around with a gun or start shooting when someone, in a police car, pulls you over. In fact, Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the US. He was breaking the law by just having that gun in his possession. He was the architect of his own demise.

However, when he saw that the Taliban could't be trusted, he stopped negotiations and maintained the status quo. The Biden withdrawal was a disaster and a disgrace. You can deflect by calling out the name of Trump but you can't make predictions on what hasn't happened. It wasn't Bush, Obama or Trump that called that withdrawal. It was Biden and only HE can answer to what happened and he hasn't said ONE word. You don't lighten Biden's responsibility by babbling the name of Trump. Face reality. I never got into those fields but it did give me the background to get into production management. That led me to being a yard manager at recycling plant and a crane operator. My education taught me that I'd never be happy with a desk job. I loved working outdoors so, in spite of not doing exactly what I was studying for, the education still led me to places that I enjoyed.

  22.  @sheilahart1267  READ MY STATEMENT AGAIN. I was quite clear of how I felt on the subject. The child in the womb doesn't have a choice to be born or not, so that's a spurious argument. The choice is for those who can make it. Asking a 6 month old baby about choice doesn't make sense. Also, when my wife and I decided to only have 2 children, there were lots of options, to make that happen, that doesn't include abortion and we took them. This isn't only about whether to abort or not abort. There are dozens of birth control methods available. I can CHOOSE to use them, as well. A lot of women choose how many children they want and would NEVER abort a child. So...quit accusing me of things that I never said and don't believe in. I can only tell my feelings on abortion so many times before I will come to the conclusion that I'm talking to a cement head.

  27. It's not just that kids weren't allowed to go to school. It's the campaign that would enforce, through social pressures, isolation from the rest of society through the use of fear. It would be as if you took those children and placed them on a deserted island with only their family to interact with. This is made worse through the fact that most families have only 2 children or less. That means total isolation from their peers. Add to that the fear of illness and death to themselves and to their family members, their only contacts, and it has to be devastating to the mental health of any child. I'm astounded how people can't appreciate this.

The city of Del Rio, Texas with a population of 38,000 people, had over 50,000 migrants go through their town, in less than 2 years...and Martha's Vineyard can't even handle 50? They call the National Guard on those 50 migrants to remove them, AGAINST their will and yet you call the governor of Florida a whiner when he moves them out of his state after the migrants sign a waiver that says that they agreed to go to Martha's Vineyard. Hell, my small town of 15,000 lost a factory of 150 employees last year and they weren't booted out of town. The little kids don't need jobs before you try to correct me. These rich snobby elites couldn't help them? They're living in mansions, HUGE mansions and they can't help 50 migrants??? Massachusetts calls itself a sanctuary state. Yeah right. Those snobs didn't think that they were coming to their backyards, did they. They found almost 60 migrants, DEAD, in a shipping container a while ago. I heard more outrage over moving these migrants to Martha's Vineyard, than about the 60 who died that horrible death. Almost 600 dead already this year along the border. This issue is just a pimple on the much bigger problem that the Biden administration has created and is ignoring. You seem to have extremely selective outrage.

  34. It's so simple. If Hamas's prime goal was to make life better for the people of Gaza, there would be no war. Israel has had LOTS of opportunities to completely wipe out Gaza and they never did. What's happening now is due to Hamas's desire to have as many Palestinians martyrs as possible to garner outside money, weapons and support. To do this, they have to goad Israel into a fight, by attacking and killing as many Israeli citizens as possible. Then they scream victim hood and and put out the metaphorical cup for alms to outside nations. Hamas is a blight on this world and to the Palestinian people.

  38. His questions don't have anything to with climate change. However, he should be able to determine if the witness is a credible witness. If the witness can't be forthright about ANY question asked, any SIMPLE question asked, why would I trust him to answer the important questions in an honest manner. Just answer the questions as honestly as you possibly can. Don't protest every question. Honest people don't protest. They answer honestly. That adds to credibility and that guy's credibility is now ZERO as far as I'm concerned. No point in asking him questions about climate change.

  39. His mouth does cause him trouble but it's in his delivery not in substance. He's using a prepared script because he wants to be accurate in his quotes. When he speaks for himself, he doesn't use a script. When he's quoting he goes to the script so he gets it right. He does it in this video. He reads the quotes and then he looks up and adds his own take which isn't in the script. Watch the entire video. He really doesn't care if someone takes umbrage to his off the cuff remarks. According to the gag order, he shouldn't even be commenting from a script. He could go to jail for that but he won't. He has every right to defend himself, in court and in public and the judge knows it. Everyone does.....including YOU.

The emails exist and you can access them. It's astounding that after a couple of days, 51 former intelligence agents signed a letter stating that this had the earmarks of Russian disinformation. That's all it took....a few days. That's quite the investigation. LOL. If this stuff is even half true, the Bidens, the IRS, FBI, the CiA and a lot of Democrats cheated YOU and all Americans......and YOU DON"T CARE????? That means that this chairperson will take on the duties of the Secretary of State in the election process. How that suppresses voting isn't clear to me. What difference does it make to a voter whether it's the Secretary of State that oversees it or a Chairperson elected by the Legislature? It wouldn't make any difference to me. I didn't see anything that would reduce the number of polling stations or precincts. I did see a provision that says that if a precinct had MORE than 2000 voters and lineups were longer than a hour, steps were to be taken to add voting booths or to reduce the number of voters to 2000 and moving the access to other precincts. Each precinct is to have one voting booth for every 250 voters plus an extra for the extra fraction. This means that if a precinct has 1100 voters, there would be 5 booths. Once again, I don't see how this suppresses voting. They have declared that there should only be 1 election drop box per precinct. Drop boxes were an emergency measure put in place for things like Covid. This is now codied into law. This was never a part of the election process in the past. I don't see how this suppresses voting, either. You're going to have to be more specific than what you've been. You've made vague accusations but that doesn't make them the truth.
