@mickeyotoole9780 That doesn't answer my question. Why didn't the global warming, at the end of the last ice age, release huge amounts of methane, causing a run away effect? That's what is predicted with the current climate change. Yet, when the global warming was a great deal more comprehensive, at the end of the last ice age, the release of all that methane didn't set off a run away effect that ended with an unlivable planet. Why is it so different this time.

@mickeyotoole9780 You're stating possibilities as if they are known and measured scientific facts. If they are, and I've looked for them, I'd like to see them. Until then, they're only possible answers to my question. I'm not asking this to prove or disprove man made climate change. I'm just asking a question about one aspect that has been put out there. I want to understand the process.

@firouz256 The point is that abused people are more vulnerable to abuse as they get older. It manifests itself differently for each abused person. The point is that if abuse is part of your childhood, that's no reason to ascribe gender dysphoria to ALL the abused and that's what's happening now. A pubescent is struggling, both emotionally and socially, from their abuse and adults are saying that they must be suffering from gender dysphoria, that's why the emotional trauma. They present those children with the narratives to convinced that pubescent that this must be why they're struggling and once convinced, the young teen will verbalise this new "revelation", diagnosing themselves as being of the opposite sex and you're not allowed, on pain of legal and professional action, to try and find out if the problem could lie elsewhere. THAT is the point. It's being used for ideological and monetary gain.

@tinfoilhatter Of course it was about me. I thought that I would give my opinion on a comment that I hadn't even wrote yet. LOL. That makes perfect sense. No wonder you're having problems understanding Peterson. You're as illogical as it gets.

@tinfoilhatter The Vulcans are right about that. However, we do have a brain and we should try to exercise that brain as much as possible. It may not make us perfectly logical but it's better than wallowing in ignorance, isn't it?
