dsgio7254 we can ignore your emotional moralizing because it means nothing and is based on nothing.
2
dsgio7254 MIT did not support your inane assertions and the IMF was dead wrong and did not support your claims either. Quit being an incredulous idiot when your claims have no evidence. Quit trying to appeal to authority. The fact that someone at the IMF says something does not make it true.
2
dsgio7254 if 43% remain then 57% or a majority did not remain meaning they moved up. It entirely supports my claims so quit lying
2
dsgio7254 you are again attacking a straw man and moving the goalposts into irrelevant emotional nonsense. Quit changing the subject and just admit that mobility is the norm for the majority. That is the fact being discussed
2
dsgio7254 no it is not. You’re trying to change the subject when you got proven wrong on the facts.
2
That makes no sense. Capitalism works. The nonsense Wolff and his ilk want to replace it with does not.
2
@mattrussell8309 there are no such failures and it works for the vast majority. Try again liar.
2
@mattrussell8309 also the Great Depression was caused by the Fed and government intervention not laissez faire. Another lie. Zero economic texts or respected economists agree with the bullshit you just spewed.
2
Wrong. Capitalism works fine. Socialism is what doesn’t work. Get your head checked
2
dsgio7254 from the economic freedom index which details metrics such as private property rights: “The overall rule of law is weak in Honduras. The country’s property rights score is below the world average; its judicial effectiveness score is below the world average; and its government integrity score is below the world average.” “The overall rule of law is weak in Haiti. The country’s property rights score is below the world average; its judicial effectiveness score is below the world average; and its government integrity score is below the world average.”
2
dsgio7254 the above information details how they do NOT have good private property rights dumbnuts. Not having private property rights means not capitalism.
2
dsgio7254 the source was already given. Now that we established you to be lying again you resort to irrelevant goalpost shifting and cherry picking.
2
dsgio7254 this is not an argument, just more dishonest cherry picking
2
dsgio7254 already answered. Get lost troll
2
@Krooksbane there is no such thing as “surplus labor value” either. Study real economics and not made up Marxist nonsense
2
@ericsuarez834 lie! Capitalism does benefit the majority. Piss off with your lies
2
@michaelmappin1830 more spammed lies and nonsense. Capitalism didn’t make people poor it brought them out of poverty.
2
@confusedarmchairphilosopher they don’t. Read Debunking Utopia. Scandinavian countries built their wealth with capitalism, not a welfare state.
2
Wages didn’t stagnate since the 80s so the rest of your nonsense can be disregarded as well. You start from false information
2
@donklee3514 no they did not. Real wages went up. Google “debunking the productivity pay gap” and get back to me. Already dealt with that lie years ago. There is even a bad economics thread refuting it.
2
@donklee3514 “The Annoying Persistence of the Income Stagnation Myth” Article by economist Scott Lincicome debunking your claim about stagnant wages.
2
@donklee3514 😂 😂 you’re embarrassing yourself
2
@donklee3514 I provided data, not just “this guy said you are wrong so it must be wrong.” Just because a Keynesian says something does not make it so. Meanwhile Lincicome used the data to prove his point and explained why in detail.
2
Yeah because he was lying his ass off. Cope harder along with the hundreds of other Wolff stans coping at their cult figure being corrected in real time and not getting away with lying.
2
@@zehdi5778 because it takes much longer to debunk the falsehood than to give equal time to a liar like Wolff ramble off ten lies and maybe get a full explanation of why the first one or two are wrong. No, when a false claim is made it should be addressed right out of the gate, not allowed to go on unchecked.
2
@Chizstarz86 that’s not an argument about any bigger picture, it’s just word salad. Compensation for employees already includes things like hazard pay. Companies routinely pay for things like moving costs. There are no externalities here.
2
@Chizstarz86 except that makes no sense because Flint Michigan water crisis was caused by government you dunce
2
@Chizstarz86 monetary policy has nothing to do with Flint Michigan. I am not failing to understand. You are moving the goalposts yet again. Also monetary policy is also a government function you absolute clown
2
@Chizstarz86 what the hell are you talking about? You’re just making shit up at this point. Quit lying and inventing things that never happened. There is no such fantasy. The Scandinavian countries are highly capitalist not socialist.
2
@Chizstarz86 oh and also there is no connection between monetary policy and Flint Michigan. What the hell is wrong with you? You got proven wrong completely on blaming capitalism for something that government did and now you are grasping for straws and changing the subject. Grow up!
2
He was lying. Cope harder at him not getting away with spewing falsehoods.
2
@jeffzoller he claimed real wages were stagnant. We know this is wrong as demonstrated by the St Louis Federal Reserve’s real compensation series data as well as explanation for why this is a falsehood from economist Scott Lincicome in his article titled The Annoying Persistence of the Stagnant Wage Myth. Wolff then goes on to peddle the debunked productivity-pay gap myth. That graph was manufactured by activist organization EPI which used different measures of inflation to measure productivity and pay to make them diverge as well as excluding the top 20% of workers from wages but not from productivity. He also blindly spewed out the $400 emergency myth which shows he didn’t even read the source material for that one. Should I go on?
2
He was the one spewing the BS. Wage stagnation is a myth and so is the bogus productivity pay gap.
2
@michaelmappin1830 wages have MORE than kept up with inflation. How many times do I have to keep providing the sources before you stop spewing this childish fairy tale nonsense? source 1: St Louis Federal Reserve real compensation series source 2: "The Annoying Perisistence of the Stagnant Wage Myth" article by economist Scott Lincicome
2
@michaelmappin1830 here is yet another person correcting your lies on the costs of living in another thread. He provided multiple sources and points of data proving you wrong. https://youtu.be/WJQJEfWfBDM?si=XkJF8JrVwT_UzD-1 You are lying, and you know you are lying. You have been repeatedly proven wrong with evidence on this. Stop spamming lies.
2
@michaelmappin1830 that’s another lie. Quit spamming lies and made up stories that you cannot support with actual data. I just gave multiple sources breaking down how people can better afford things now than then. Quit lying. Grow up and get a real job that isn’t paid shill.
2
@davidsmith5917 actually I am calling out lies and giving sources. Cope harder
2
@michaelmappin1830 you ran away from this one and now you went to a bunch of new threads to spam lies and insults there. Typical paid shill behavior. Refuses to read sources, spams the same falsehoods and mindless support for Wolff on new threads daily to avoid having to deal with being proven wrong over and over and over again. How does it feel being publicly owned? 🤣
2
@michaelmappin1830 my sources of data proved that wages increased more than the cost of living. The only reason why you would still continue to lie and gaslight is because you yourself are a liar and paid shill. You accuse others of doing what you are doing in this thread. You spam hundreds and thousands of comments with lies you can’t back up with facts.
2
@michaelmappin1830 through all of this you keep spewing accusations and you can’t back them up. You have not named one lie or contradiction from me. Meanwhile I have caught you lying multiple times.
2
@michaelmappin1830 that’s not a lie at all. It is a fact that Wolff is not working class since he is a millionaire. Want to try again?
2
@michaelmappin1830 ”I have no motive to lie” That’s also a lie from you. You have every motive to lie because we already proved you are a liar. You lied multiple times in this thread alone. When confronted with data on wages you ignored it and lied again.
2
@michaelmappin1830 “just because…” Actually that does mean that they aren’t working class. He is a multimillionaire. He is NOT working class you absolute idiot. 😂
2
@michaelmappin1830 “you never proved anything” That is a lie. I posted multiple sources in this thread on wages proving you to be a liar.
2
@michaelmappin1830 I already did back up that he is not working class in this thread too. You didn’t own anything but yourself. Now are you going to deal with the actual evidence and data or not? If not then go away. Quit deflecting from your lies and actually back up your statements.
2
@michaelmappin1830 the real wage data is in this thread and you got proven to be a liar. You have done nothing but deflect ever since and project your lying nature yet you still haven’t named a single lie from me and instead just made more lies yourself.
2
Idiotic nonsense
2
Wolff is not an intellectual but he is a commie propagandist.
2
No they haven’t, because capitalism works and socialism doesn’t. Trying to rebrand socialist failures as actshually capitalism isn’t going to work here.
2
@john-gg5iwit works just fine. Capitalism is not making any of those things unaffordable. Quit talking out of your ass.
