CN Karrylu Taiwan was ceded to Japan when China was weak and was bullied by 8 different nations including the USA and Japan. After the world war 2, Taiwan rejoined the motherland hence became part of the Republic of China, being ruled by the Kuomingtang Government. This Government was ruthless, and corrupt thus civil war broke up and then the Communist has been winning and chased the Kuomintang Government all the way towards Taiwan. Due to the intervention and the protection of the USA’s superior fire power, the Communist have yet to complete the claim of the Province of Taiwan. Where the Kuomintang Government has retreated to.

Xinjiang is a horrible genocide as they cannot find any dead bodies

@aural_angst you are correct, Chinese Companies can be required to hand over all their data to the Chinese Government at any time. The thing is this has NEVER Happened before. Do you also know that the US Companies are also required to hand over all data to the US Government too at any time. This has happened many times before. The other thing is that the US equipment and has many backdoors that is accessible by the NSA at any time too. This too has been proven to have happened many times over. Whistleblowers on these has been targeted by the US Government even as we chat here. Look at Edward Snowden he is seeking refuge from the US Government for telling the world how the US Government Spy on us. Julian Asange an Australian National is currently put on trial in the UK so that the US Government can get their hands on him to put him in jail for exposing the leaks of how the US Government spy on the rest of us. IF you are not aware, these kind of cases in the US has a 98% conviction rate meaning if these two people were handed over to the US Government they have already been made guilty ! ! ! That is the justice you will get from the beacon of freedom and democracy.

@frankcollins4743 by your rhetoric I can easily see that you have been a thoroughly brainwashed tool against China. Here is your 10 cents ... go play far far away don’t disturb adults having a meaningful discussion.
1
I saw some other interviews of random Taiwanese students and they seem to be really brainwashed against the mainland. They seem to think that religion is not allowed on the mainland and they think that if you were to pray on the mainland you will be put in jail. They also think that you have no voting rights in Mainland China. They also think that you are not free to say anything on the mainland like if you do you will be put in jail. They have no idea what is going on in the mainland at all ... just like they are brainwashed like their Hong Kong counterparts.
1
David Graves well they are just so wrong because the Central Government has been building mosques and churches and many other temples to encourage the Chinese citizens to have a religion. They have also spent Billions to restore dilapidated mosques especially in the Xinjiang area, where many of the videos of the demolition of these mosques has been spread round the world, what they didn’t show was that after the demolition, the government rebuilt them to be bigger and nicer.
1
B Yang yes, the Chinese people voted for Xi JingPing as the president. His election is not a direct election but the system and way he is being voted to become the president is just like how Boris Johnson is being voted to be the Prime Minister of the UK, or all those in the British Commonwealth following the Westminster Style of Democracy.
1
Good for you. I hope you will have an independent suluk and mindanao soon. The world stand with the Philippines.
1
@ItzEnochYT Dear Mindanao, , You serve as an inspiration to all of us.
1
@darshanchung no I don't tell by the name I tell by the narrative that Al Jazeera has been broadcasting over the years. They are either US State media or they are just regurgitating US media without any critical analysis.
1
@zjee open your eyes and you will agree with me.
1
@darshanchung look at the lies that Al Jazeera always spread on a daily basis.
1
@iaprm are you sure that the person in Texas who wish Texas to be independent will not be silenced or disappear ? I highly doubt that. The USA is the biggest human rights violator in the world and they do not have any respect for Human Rights let alone any agreements. Many people in the USA have disappeared for minor incidents against the US Government or US official narrative. Do you know that the Espionage Act in the USA does not allow anyone to any defence ? They have a 99% chance of conviction if you are charged with this law. According to this law there is no defence allowed.
1
@jasonpeterson4056 the referendum in Gibraltar was fake just like the one in the Falkland Islands the British importer voters to vote their way.
1
Finally there will be hope for a flourishing Hong Kong. Thank you Mainland China for saving Hong Kong.
1
@ducjducjpsycho yeah you reply like a psycho there is totally no logic in what @leves777 is saying.
1
@axscdvfb yes you need and more. Do you know what is the population of Japan ? Do you know how much water you use a day ?
1
It's just basically the whole world saying that if Japan says this water is safe for drinking so Japan must put their money where their mouth is. Drink it ! ! ! don't force feed it to the world who don't want it. Don't make Japan's problem the world's problem ! ! !

Kate100294764 if you read and understand the British-Sino Joint declaration and the basic law of Hong Kong then you would not have said what you just said. It is written in the basic law of Hong Kong (the Mini Constitution of Hong Kong) it requires there to be a National Security Law to be implemented as soon as possible. Over the last 23 years the opposition legislators or the so called pro-democracy legislators has been blocking this from becoming a law in Hong Kong. Therefore the central Government drew up the skeleton of this to be agreed upon by the LegCo and implement it in to law. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT OF THEIR CONSTITUTION ! ! ! STOP SPREADING FAKE NARRATIVES ON THIS ! ! !
1
@katemakeup kindly refer to the Hong Kong Basic Law before releasing the load of rubbish that is currently being promoted by anti-china media round the world. It is a requirement of the Hong Kong Basic Law that this act is enacted in Hong Kong, the so called pro-democracy legislators have been blocking this for 23 years as they are just prone to block anything that is proposed for Hong Kong regardless whether it is good or bad for Hong Kong. The sorry state of affairs in Hong Kong is also due to their nature o just opposing for the sake of opposing. Jimmy Lai is not a journalist he and his media is funded by the US as a propaganda tool to instigate the breaking up of Hong Kong and China. The media that they run only tell part truths and twist facts to encourage people to go against the Government. They really do deserve to be put behind bars for a long long time. Like this National Security Law, it is a requirement of the basic Law of Hong Kong. The media and those aligned to Jimmy Lai will not report that it is a requirement, but will report that the Chinese Government imposed this draconian Law onto Hong Kong. The truth is, this is an act required by their constitution. The local legislative council failed to enact this, then the central Government passed the law where the details are to be discussed and implemented solely by the Hong Kong legislative council. This facts are not reported so that it can paint a bad light on the central government to say that they are bad. It's a pity that you have fallen prey to their facts twisting.

elitechrstn please check with them again I didn't receive any money in my account. Do get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.
1
@oddish2253 I'm sorry I don't think China is interested to police the world. The Muslim world if they are looking for someone to police the world they have to look for someone else.
1
@ryufireblade maltreatment of Uyigers and genocide of Uyigers in China is a myth there is no proof of it other than some dissident who escaped China for their separatist movement testimonials for money. Then the whole world media keep coming out with different versions of it coz it sells.
1
@realmaozhedong no proof that there is 2 million dont be crazy
1
The thing also is that the accusations that has been hurled at China by the Australians is purely full of lies and there has been no evidence whatsoever that has ever been presented other than those that has been funded by the forces that is against or is Anti-China.
1
This is a beautiful sight. The world stand with you freedom for Americans DEFY AUTOCRATIC CURFEW ! ! !
1
@etreni China will never invade Taiwan as the Philippines will never invade Mindanao it’s just that simple.
1
@diosdadoapias most young Taiwanese has been brainwashed in schools to teach them to think that they are Japanese or Americans.
1
@charlesrodriguez8839 Sabah originally belonged to the Sultan of Brunei. He later ceded part of Eastern Sabah to the Sultan of Sulu for helping him to fight off their enemies. These territories were later conned by the British through a north Borneo charter and subsequently made to be British territory. The country of North Borneo obtained their independence from the British and subsequently Joined the Federation of Malaysia in 1963. So to say and Claim Sabah as Filipino territory is totally not accurate. Sabah or North Borneo was never part of the Philippines at all. Although the eastern part of Sabah which was ceded to the Sultan of Sulu has leased it to the British indefinitely. This lease was done prior to the Kingdom of Sulu being absorbed in the Philippines. In any case the Sultan of Sulu is also a Malaysian national not a Filipino national at least on paper. Even though the whole world knows that he also hold a Filipino passport.
1
@nebula526 Taiwan is not a sovereign nation as Taiwan has no nationhood status and do not fall in to the definition of sovereign nationhood at all. There is no evidence to show that Taiwan can be considered sovereign or nationhood.
1
Mitch Z well he said he used to be there to know what would have happened so he is talking from experience.
1
@lijewy wilful ignorance is a choice, arrogantly ignorant is a state of mind. You choose which one you belong to.
1
Mitch H I think you misspelled China to USA right ?
1
These infrastructures have also proven to help boost the local economies. China’s Belt and Road Initiative has also brought Chinese Farms and Factories to these countries and has also brought employment to millions of local residents. Though I have to say that it also brought along certain social problems but I believe that these has to be dealt with by the local government as it is not the Jurisdiction nor the authority of the Chinese Government to deal with those social problems in these receiving countries. This also is out of respect for the partner government.
1
Of course IMF loans have strings attached they even decide who is supposed to lead your country too. They tell you what laws you can and cannot have in your country too. Not the Chinese loans as it comes with NO STRINGS ATTACHED as the Chinese Practices a non-interference Policy.
1
INDIANSNIPER actually the USA is the problem here not China nor Japan.
1
Jason Ray if you cut China in to many different countries it will only benefit one country in the world and will spell doom for the rest of the world. We all need a strong China now for a common good.
1
Rich Lopez you are right, I agree with you that the Province of Taiwan were never a part of Communist China. However the Province of Taiwan has always been a part of China. Therefore Reunification is imminent and any US intervention is deemed illegal in the eyes of the International Community. Any US presence is considered an Invasion of Chinese Soveringty
1
@davebull9600 Biased Reporting is not Freedom of Speech it is Pure Unprofessionalism
1
Rayhan Asat is working for an Anti-China Think Tank promoting separatists movements in China.
1
joe vincent dela cruz if the US recognise Taiwan and do not recognize Taiwan as part of China will be very interesting. Then the whole world will and should impose economic sanctions against the US and drop the USD.
1
Stephen Price Edward Snowden is still running away because he saw all your private pictures and videos as a US civil service personnel. The CIA has been spying on all of us all this while.
1
@musicguy20 no I mean the US Government must be held accountable for this. The covid-19 virus was found much earlier in the US but there was a cover up and nothing happened until it was later discovered in Wuhan.
1
Well there is no human rights in the USA they are the biggest human rights violators in the world actually. I guess the Police in the USA totally have no regards for human decency.
1
There has been 18,000,000 people infected with influenza in the USA alone over the last month or so why is there no news on this?
1
@kumarharsh6987 ha ha ha ha you are just so wrong
1
dans h really how so? Don't tell me you believe in those fake news.
1
@kumarharsh6987 Mr Kumar, the eating of any animal itself' is a cruel act and it kills a live. If you are concerned about cruelty to animals, I suggest to be vegetarian. Judging from your name, you must be Hindu hence a high chance of being vegetarian which is good for you. What I really oppose about eating another living being is that in Indonesia they are still trying to stop people from eating human beings out of respect for them.
1
@gebys4559 China never said that they are independent of Taiwan. China still maintains that Taiwan is part of China. They even reserved the ancestral homes and ancestral lands of Taiwanese leaders who left their homelands for them to go back and claim them. Taiwanese people can go to the mainland and live and study freely without having to pay tax. Don't you know? They only need to pay taxi in Taiwan when they earn in the mainland. It is in Taiwan's constitution that says it's a part of China and vice-versa.
1
@madgoat2692 same principle stands.
