I voted for Carter once, and Reagan twice. Biden is in a whole new league of stupid, Carter at least was a decent man.

They're still there, most have just shut up.

Most Americans get their news from local TV. Having traveled the country for the last 3 years, and seeing local news coverage, I know that no media is covering these stories.
33
Rep. Comer: I suggest you use the franking priviledge to mail a document to every U.S. voter that details the accusations and why the charges are true. Not one broadcast network or local TV station will mention the May 10 press conference.

The joke in Pa: Pennsylvania is 3 states. Philly in the East, Pittsburgh in the West and Alabama in the center. We always end up with Senators who are afraid to do or say anything except to attack their opponent.
25
It shames me as an American that we have to take a back seat in the fight for freedom. Thank God for Canadians.
21
Ironically, that's what many of them believe. Satan promotes pride, envy, lust, greed and sloth; all the required hallmarks of progressive thought.

@hootowl6354 Influence peddling, bribery, Acting as an unregistered foreign agent, tax evasion...

There is only one thing that would represent accountability: if we voted out lying thieving incumbent politicians. Until we do that there will be no legal consequences. Why not? Because Congress decides what is or isn't legal, and writes enough loopholes to cover all the gray areas. When it comes to corruption, I always believe what each side says about the other.

There should be cameras in every classroom. Parents should be able to see for themselves how schools operate.
11
You know, I'm happy the administration is afraid of us. Government should maintain a healthy fear of the people.

If the federal govt. really wanted renewable energy, it would stop subsidizing infrastructure and start offering to buy all the natural energy produced, and use that energy to provide power to electric vehicles in cities where they make sense. When the feds want to travel, they don't build planes, they buy a ticket.

Jill looks like a tourist at a future "reimagination" of Barnum and Bailey's Flying Circus.
9
Of course. But that doesn't take away the right to criticize her.
7
I alternate between sympathy for an old warrior past his prime, and absolute disgust that America selected this fool.
6
Just post some truth on twitter. You'll hear from them. Your forehead will sting from the self inflicted slaps, but you will see why they add up to only 30% or so.
5
You can't know the answer to a question you don't want to ask.
5
@GripFreak In November I'm going to vote. In the mean time, don't think your voice doesn't count. It does. I'm going to keep speaking up. As far as more direct action is concerned: "To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under Heaven." The time to fight is when you can't win by speaking, not now, when we can.
5
@paulh1745 Lies. You are willing to repeat lies as long as it benefits a Democrat. Next you'll be yelling hooray for one party government. No one, not even the liars in his own administration, think Biden is honest, much less competent. Get ready for the Red Wave.
5
It is impossible to prove a negative. Cawthorn made the allegations, its on him to offer proof.
5
The thieves just wanted a car. What bothers me is 3 thieves, several shots, no hits, ineffective action to organize an arrest, they got away. Lets hope someone is arrested so we can watch their journey through the justice system.
5
Thats one smart judge. She recognized the con and stopped it cold.

I have to wonder if Iran's acceleration of its nuclear program is at all related to the pallets of cash we gave them, or the more recent release of more billions. One has to wonder why Democrat Presidents are so tolerant of Iran.
5
Its his day off! Where else?
5
It just occurred to me to ask: Does Hunter's unwanted child also get Secret Service protection, or is this only for grandkids that get to visit the White House?
4
Trump should send every grant to Congress and demand the appropriate money for each one. Don't want to throw out the baby, clean up the bath water. And sign your name to it.
4
We need to stop defending everyone in our own party, and stop attacking everyone who doesn't toe the party line.

Everyone in that room felt the same. I actually felt a little bit sorry for Joe.

By releasing the files on his own schedule, Elon is going over the heads of the big 3 networks.

Any more

Sounds to me like they've been storing evidence, making an airtight case and waiting for permission to pounce.
3
@harukuhitoki2991 I would not answer questions put to me by a Democrat Atty.Gen in a Democratic state. The most prominent Democrat in that state paid for the Steele Dossier, and pled guilty to doing so. As I say, skeeves, the whole lot.

Spit my beer.

I am a baptised Christain who values the ten commandments. I ask this question: If legislature can mandate a display can they not also prohibit the same? The Supreme Court has seemed to come down on both sides of the issue. But I'd prefer that religious practices be excluded from politics altogether.

2nd comment: American policy toward Iran furthers a Chinese long term goal, whether intentionally or not. China needs Iranian oil. It also needs a way to connect Western China overland to Europe. China and Iran jointly intend to revive the silk road, starting with a pipeline. I suspect some of our leaders are motivated to further, or not oppose, the silk road plan.
3
well you just made the FBIs 'people to watch list'.
3
All the more reason to come down hard on the miscreants when you catch them. All the more reason to hold the bosses accountable. Some management types need to be fired.
3
Our food is picked by legal immigrants and have been for years. 15% of every dollar paid to an illegal immigrant is stolen from the social security system because the law requires both employers and employees to contribute to FICA.
3
They have us convinced that there are only 2 parties, 2 points of view, 2 possible solutions. Both parties do all they can to stay in power. We the people tolerate it because the only alternative seems worse.
3
I am a Pa. independent who leans right, and so vote Republican more often than not. Barnettes opponent is likely to be Shapiro. Shapiro fought a good fight against child rapists in the church, and was instrumental in solving an ugly fight among health providers. I voted for him in his current office because of that. Not saying I'd vote for him, but he has lots of support. Barnette would have an uphill fight in Pa. I think Republicans should nominate someone who can win. It looks to me like the Dems will.
3
The background check system works fine as long as nameless bureaucrats with minimal job supervision, and who can't be fired no matter how incompetent, actually obtain the information and act on it. Since we can't expect those agencies to do their jobs, they ban ARs. How well did that work?
3
Just so you guys understand: When Dems cry about access to the internet they mean that the Federal government should fund projects to expand the infrastructure. ( Free money for their corporate allies.)They never even consider that private industry is doing that right now, without govt. help. Starlink, when fully operational, will accomplish the goal of universal access to the internet. Without spending a nickel of your tax dollars.
3
Not very far. I once met a woman whose family got absurdly rich because an ancestor patented some hundreds of variety of barbed wire. After WW1 they were paid royalties from both sides that made their own barbed wire for the use of the patent. It still happens, but in high tech multinational corporations.

I have aortic valve damage, and have for 10 years. The difference for me is that my health insurance allows me to see my doctors every 6 months, or whenever I feel concern. I never wait more than 3 days for an appt., and I have never been denied any medical test. Long wait times are an inevitable result of putting anything in the hands of government.
3
@oli4572 Nor should he be.

The corruption is the whole point of USAID. Grant recipients are extremely grateful for the money, and they express their gratitude in a tangible way.

Interesting fact. As I read this, 383 likes for Digger's comment, 6 for my reply!! I am duly humbled.

When governments were worried about internet transactions, transparency and taxation, Musk and his partners created PayPal. Problem solved. When Obama was spending billions trying to push the Chevy Volt, Musk was making electric cars. When NASA could not get people to the ISS without paying Russia, he created SpaceX. That is why liberals hate Musk. They dont believe free people should be allowed to solve problems. They would prefer problems to be handled by ever growing and oppressive governments.

As a child I lived in the Jim Crow South. My 3rd grade teacher was teaching us about the Civil Rights laws then being considered by Congress. I no longer remember his exact words, but he defended "separate but equal" saying "colored" people were naturally unwilling to mix with Whites. My next door neighbor had a small diner/roadside truck stop. He was horrified at desegregation, and claimed that "colored people" would rather get their food to go, rather than sit by whites. Yeah, integration can be uncomfortable. The law doesn't care about comfort. The law is about equality, comfortable or not.

All I want to know is where can I join the American Convoy?
