Extensively informative. In the top 5. Should have been your area of concentration rather than, what was it, 'The Patriarchy's Inhibition of the Witch Sciences'? lol!
4
I'll guess that- the couple's intentions and expectations going in are reflected in the couple's progress when leaving and carrying forward.
4
Good question. Hope Ana gets to it.
4
God bless them every one.

The truth is, you telegraph your availability style, using what you have to work with. Yes I could have just as easily used, 'we', instead of 'you'.
3
And your comments have gotten better too. TY so much.
3
What about high stress lifestyles influencing our susceptibility to more anxious thought-styles?
3
The easy answer is get into therapy. "Un canal donde bueno decimos las verdades de la vida de una manera un poco humoristica y sarcastica pero lo importante es que realizes la mierda que es el mundo y el ser humano en general. :D"
3
I'll guess, The Pill. Let's see...
3
I'll second that notion!
3
Such a bewitching presentation. Wasn't there big historical to-do against witches for their casting of harmful spells?
3
@Matortheeternal Yes, super insightful. Let's go camping! lol!
3
I don't know why I was not kept in the loop about your move. I might have to re-think my sub. :face-blue-smiling:
3
@Linn Depending on where you are from, this can be as much cultural as familial. If possible, see if you can give your parents a 'get out of jail' card.
3
Long distance "Partners" is a misnomer when the couple are not married, if the definition of the word means anything. Just communicating with each other does not amount to being established.
3
It seems to me that the entire boundary construct is essentially irrelevant when we are talking about healthy people of equal power, who possess a strong sense of their personal autonomy. Why bother hanging out with anyone else unless there is a payoff? And there, the boundary is self-limiting.
3
Where is the "neurons that fire together, wire together", stuff? Neuroplasticity is the key to building a resilient brain not only in trauma and ptsd but also in overcoming daily challenges. See- Resilient: How to Grow an Unshakable Core of Calm, Strength, and Happiness, by Rick Hanson, Ph.D..
3
No thank you. Just watch this one again.
3
@x6Fly - What job do you have?
3
Madeleine Albright, when providing campaign support for Hilary Clinton said that, 'there is a special place in hell for women who don't support other women.' We don't need to benchmark men to understand the incorrectness of that thinking being built into the electoral process.
3
Truth Balm Truth bomb- Most people are boring and lonely because of it. Same outcome through, sizzle to fizzle.
3
Social media is too weird for me to get very attached. First, social media is really disguised commercial media. And second, females claim they feel guilty about emotional cheating, when talking to males, thus oversexualizing the format.
2
Mass marketing of consumption is an extraverted activity. Of course it's viral in the US, business culture is the Culture.
2
The version I've heard is, the bipolar condition is progressing to schizophrenia.
2
So you are mad that he did not care to work on the relationship? If so, your anger response suggests why he was moving-on.
2
Send them some journals, per Ana.
2
What a bewitching share. Very nice! So it's Nikolai! Cute couple.
2
Fizzle. So yeah!
2
I too am more than my GERD, though I am forced to think about it daily.
2
@valnsky lol!
2
There's 10 less things for me to be concerned about.
2
@linn4511 I hope you have gotten some idea here how well received you are by peers. I say this only because of your 'This is Me' channel playlist.
2
lol!!!
2
Wait a minute! I don't like the sound of this plan. There was nothing here that was related to hopelessness. Have you seen The School of Life video about Why you will marry the wrong person? Most of us are in the same boat. We are all fools for love from childhood.
2
Communities, of whatever identifiers, don't have standing in demanding alterations to existing identifying terms. Such expectations create confusion, confrontation, and invites shaming.
2
@foggycraw6758 Test- What is a good girlfriend?
2
@erik111erik The 'easier with age' optimism is not likely. After about mid 30's, of having lived alone, pairing-up becomes increasingly problematic, due to long-term and ingrained patterns.
2
@halguy5745 To include Asperger's Syndrome on the spectrum?
2
I need to practice... ' Ana, you smell so good.' XOX
2
Have not been here in about 2 years. Look at this hard charger go... with the books, courses and a clinical practice (assuming). I'll guess hubby works for you full-time with all this going on.

'Manifesting'.... <eye rolling> (A YouTuber, Reyna Singh, tells a story about when her sister was purchasing some snack and didn't have enough money... The embarrassment and confusion etc, that set in.. When, then out of nowhere a boy about her age stepped up and paid the difference. The sister saw this as proof of the power of manifesting with the benevolent universe, it was a religious experience. Nevermind that the boy was standing right behind her and watched the failed transaction take place. )

Do feminists listen to their grandmothers? Or, talk like them and do themselves? We love countryside wisdom.
2
@sourgreendolly7685 I initially read this in the small notifications as Ana responding, and was about to write back something about appreciating her upfront response. So there you go.
2
I suspect as world events take their proper priority in peoples' minds, these self-critical preoccupations will diminish. Are you following what is going-on in Ukraine? There is about a 50/50 chance Russia will use a tactical nuke.

Romantic sabotage is discussed in the context of there being 2 partners. This is a huge potential problem even before a relationship begins. Just in the definition of 'partner' there is a near certainty in there Not being, 'a meeting of the minds.' noun: partner 1. either of a pair of people engaged together in the same activity. 2. either member of a married couple or of an established unmarried couple. These 2 definitions look to coincide with conduct we see in real life. So, in reality, rather than getting wrapped around the axle of the subconscious- people are consciously performing to definition no.1, while exaggerating their commitment, and claiming to be invested in definition no. 2. imo

@cloveskiwis Bingo, to letting yourself feel sad.

Ooo... spooky spiritual witch title.
