  13. The nuclear family unit is a creation of capitalism. Prior to industrialisation, the village brought up the children but that gave people inconvenient links to a place and it meant people never became desperate and isolated enough to be forced into mines and mills. Its only right that capitalism would then break apart the nuclear family by forcing women to work in order to afford the mortgage with the husband and then smash the family into fragments so they need 2 houses. I know people blame lefties or the woke or feminists of some other minority - but if you look at countries on a scale of capitalism V single parent families it is incredibly obvious EDIT: Highest % single parent families: United Kingdom (23%), Belgium (25%), Lithuania (25%), United States (27%)

  16. Actually, he is not - the full story is quite depressing - they stopped his disability in June saying he is no longer classed as disabled. He is staying with the boat cos its all he has in the world and you can fill in the rest. I hope all the publicity helps him get his benefit reinstated.
