I say it's similar to being the son of a mob boss, where the son when even before born is fated to be made enemy by his fathers atrocities and those suffered from it, the son who after his father is gone is now either left with maintaining the Empire the father left behind or dissolve it and help those hurt, which leads to many problems like being hunted down by your fathers enemies or even forcibly made into the heir by your fathers underlings who want a leader or those in your family wanting to kill you to gain the prize, or for you to maintain the Empire as to enjoy all the blood wealth you have been accustomed towards and fear losing it all one day, either ways it never ends well for the son who would have to face his past regardless of how much he attempts to escape and it really is cruel especially for the offspring the son will have in the future too

  8.  @observantgardener  well as if the US never invaded Iraq or Afghanistan, never bombed Vietnam or any other country they have been in war with, if anything the question would be where did all the stolen wealth of the British disappear to, unless it's obvious the western countries had already formed a faction centuries ago which obviously US had inherited their spoils, for us foreigners the west includes European and American powers

  9. ​ @ahmedrazick4946 i dont think people should be anti American towards the people of the west themselves really, the people of any respective nations where their leaders are oppressive shouldn't be targeted for their leaders actions, if anything its a constant power struggle with each leaders of those countries wanting a piece of the cake

And please don't take this channels word too, these people in the channel only seek to change their system of capitalism into other systems related to socialism and while it could be positive or negative dependent upon each person the point is the power that was stolen from foreign countries still stays in the same place and never leaves or you could say power is just circulated from one oligarch to another one, regardless unless the west doesn't give up its powers and same goes with every other superpowers who are colonial in nature they will still have enemies from smaller countries who would be vengeful and still leave the people of the west in constant danger and their country which constantly justifies it as a reason to interfere in global politics and wage wars in those countries which fight back

  22.  @uspockdad6429  well most of the newer generation doesn't look towards the past and its misdeeds, whatever history each country may have had or would have is gone in the past, not something you could change but what could be changed is the fact that modern superpowers which should decentralise their powers for good and give back what they stole for their own good, obviously there would still be those who have had their culture and history harmed by the west or any other countries and it would be understandable for them too but they would look for their self preservation than say involve themselves in pointless wars against those who are wanting to provoke them again like the west is doing involving themselves in civil wars between countries for self interests

  25.  @rommdan2716  no it's not capitalism which is the problem, countries can adopt any system as long as they know how to implement it, regardless of any system which people claim benefits, the harsh truth is that the power always stays at the top position and even if it is decentralised the entities who have access to those powers make sure it is centralised again, the least the average "peasant" can do is hope the power is on the right hands, those who use the power responsibly for the sake of the people of those countries and not for selfish interests like modern times have become

Let's be real no matter which side you lean on the reality is the power vacuum is something that's going to be filled in by corrupt people who will carry out unethical practices which people will consider controversial, the way i see it power ( resources, culture and various other things) in both systems is distributed differently like with capitalism everyone will be equal and have a chance to be at the top but the seats for those positions are limited i.e resources and the majority are left with average if not lower sources, and with communism which i seen is the government i.e the people running the state will have more power than the capitalists but the remaining power will be equally distributed among the people i.e a large number of middle classes, it's all about how each person wishes the system for in a short or a long term whether they would like to have the same wealth but remain stagnant in the case you would not gain a better product than what you have i.e with communism or with capitalism where they have to take risks to either end up in the top enjoying lavish lifestyles gain top quality products or risk being poor if you end up with debts , whatever the system the rich will always be at the top and this reality is something that people can't seem to understand, they somehow think that one system will allow people to eat the rich but obviously it's not the case, the least we can do if either of these systems are applied is for people to steer the rich towards a good direction which benefits everyone

The intervention the west had committed was illegal regardless of how much westerners try to justify it, you talk about autonomy yet the west acts like world police bombing countries if they don't comply to western powers, the conflict between Serbia and Yugoslavia was never supposed to involve western powers which interfered and made things worse all to make billions that Washington surely made and are making right now on the Ukraine conflict now, the west does find itself everywhere it seems and westerners like you try to justify it to enjoy the spoils of wars obviously

  35.  @aldeno8055  I sometimes don't get why Filipinos want US to consider their country as one of their states, all the west has done is commit cultural genocide and essentially erased most of the culture that was preceding before the west came along, not saying people shouldn't have a choice on what they prefer but again the US forcibly converted the populace to their western ideals something which should have been the peoples choice instead of being shoved it on them, I don't say the west hasn't done any positives but the west doesn't like any other beliefs other than their own and monotonizes it for their own convenience and essentially gets rid of any differences others countries may share, people can take some inspiration from western ideals but not completely conform to it as countries across the world has done, some people are crazy enough to even worship westerners too giving them special treatment over their own people

It's only bad for business for those superpowers who don't get anything in return from those countries and even if they do carry out an investment plan for those countries to repay for their help later on that would still not be enough for the west especially when as seen throughout history none of the countries which were provided aid by the west ever recovered, I don't get this belief about blind faith on those powerful especially when their history suggests otherwise, yes there can be hope countries can set aside their differences but its hardly ever shown to be profitable for those superpowers and if anything it is not done with good intentions, I mean if the west really wanted to help the country of Phillipines they would have given back everything they stole from the country in the first place, not overwrite their systems with their own systems which they obviously engineered it to fit their interests and any form of autonomy which Filipinos would want would be removed as the west would have leverage over them

Well obviously not the people aren't, many of the rich in Chile share former Spanish colonial history and obviously have settled in Chile over the lands of the indigenous people who were present before their lands were taken by colonizers, not to mention many of the minorities are still oppressed by the Christian majority in Chile as they obviously have their fair share of colonial history

  42. which is the main problem itself, not all americans are bad and if anything such beliefs are only leading your country's people towards mindless hate, its important to know there are good people too and wishing negative intentions towards people who themselves have no full control over their leaders actions isn't going to fix the issues here, it would be understandable to have hate but it shouldn't be directed towards those who had nothing to do with their leaders actions
