  3. Watchmen threaded on the visuals, and content source, SinCity (2005) trailblazed. It is not that it was "ahead of it's time", plenty of tragic heroes and anti-heroes have existed. The thing is that large audiences (increasingly) want effortless entertainment. This movie will force anyone to react and to think, and that is a no-no if your thoughts have to come pre-chewed via a narrative. This kind of movies makes people reflect upon themselves, they don't like what they see, and associate that discomfort with the movie.

  4. Thor L&T is not good enough, and there is plenty bad. Not as good as it could have been, not as bad as I expected. The funny tone is overplayed. The Korg/Taika narrations are a fresh and unexpected new low for Taika. The movie has some bad edits and re-shoots, added by the studio? Please: no more Mcguffin search/chase movies no more riping off the water planet Vormir Rusell Crow was almost ok, he owned the part, but it still was a bad part. Why did Natalie Portman make this movie? We may never get a good answer. The G of the G are now decoration and backdrop. Korg narration about the "nobody knows who this guy was" did not work

  7. There is a sign at the begining that says "sabor a mierda"... that is "tastes like sh1t" , in spanish. The movie is true to their word.

  8. The worst thing from this movie is to see all the pieces than have been plucked out and pillaged by other franchises along the years. And how Villeneuve had to walk around them to avoid falling into overused tropes of the copycats . A few examples: Arrakis is Tatoinne. The "chosen one" is Anakin/Neo. "fear is the little death" = after earth "danger is real, fear is a choice", Sardaukars = Stormtroopers, clone armies. Chani = Neitiry/Trinity woman of the "other world". Paul "goes native" = Avatar, Dances with wolves. the Sarlack = the worm. Luke sees the two suns on the horizon, Paul sees the sun on the horizon. Fremen = Freefolk GOT/Avatar/dances with wolves. Emperor = emperor. Does Paul have free will? = does Neo have free will?..... The original DUNE is a carcass that has been recycled so many times by others that it became a trope itself.

  9. Of course Fraiser did not deserve an Oscar for "monkeybone" BUT, Hollywood just 😍loves😍 giving Oscars to actors that play a "struggle" I will not watch this movie, because of Hollywood. At the same time, I have no doubt that Fraiser is a talented actor.

  20. Noteworthy: Nolan got flack for the "protagonist" from TENET lacking background, emotion or empathy, because what is important is the story here and now. The "killer" lack of backstory and emotion proves that Nolan is a trailblazer.
