Refusing to acknowledge Taiwan as a country is mutually agreed upon by most of the world. If the US reversed it, there could be unforeseen and deadly repercussions. The time to recognize Taiwan is not now. US would rather keep the status quo where Taiwan is independent and there’s no war, or recognize Taiwan when it’s viable to do so, meaning later in time when the threat from China has passed. Perhaps when a moderate comes to power replacing Xi Jinping.

He’s made some good points about men’s issues that have been validated by later mental health experts. For example, the so called “Loneliness Epidemic”, it mostly affects men, and most men under 30 are single. He brought attention to this neglected and unknown issue plaguing young men, who are lonely and single, not to mention placing our countries on the verge of demographic collapse.

Republicans rebuffed the Democrats at every turn. In Congress they spent their time and energy blocking Obama’s and Democrats’ agenda, purely out of spite and to portray them as ineffective. They promoted bogus conspiracy theories like Birtherism and Benghazi. They blamed Obama for mishandling the Ebola Crisis despite it barely affecting the US at all. They blamed Obama and Sec. of State Hillary Clinton for the attack on Benghazi, despite multiple attacks on embassies/consulates during the Bush years, all without any GOP slandering.

  39. No way. Israel voluntarily left Gaza Strip in 2005. And wanted to live in peace, but Hamas was elected in 2006, and did terrorism, prompting the blockade and sanctions. Secondly, Gaza Strip is not important to Israel. Israel would be thrilled if the Gazans there either quit fighting or became someone else’s problem, like say Egypt’s. Thirdly, if Israel wanted to take Gaza Strip it wouldn’t wait for this. Gaza attacked Israel multiple times, including in the past few years. There is nothing to suggest Israel wanted the attack on October 7th 2023 to occur, as a pretext or false flag.
