There was no occupation of the Gaza Strip at all, just Palestinian statehood. So what is their excuse for making war with Israel then? It can’t be that Israel stole their land.

  33. US stayed in Afghanistan for 20 bloody years, if US offers even a little of that to Taiwan, it will be more than most countries are willing to give. Taiwan is also a more willing and capable partner than the Afghan government. The two nations are not comparable, and inferences on US policies for Taiwan cannot be drawn from Afghanistan.

US has lots of immigration and while cities are becoming gentrified like Canada, it’s being driven by rich people whether they’re rich immigrants, students from rich families, speculators, or wealthy professionals. The solution I feel is to modify zoning laws on a national scale, encourage more multifamily and smaller apartments to be built for affordable rents and mortgages
