  19.  @Bluemooque  the land in Gaza Strip isn’t particularly valuable. It’s small, and no different than Israel’s coastal regions. Plus, Israel pulled out of Gaza and evacuated its settlements there as a peace offering in 2006, I don’t see proof they want the land or use it as a pretext for war.

That’s few people in almost 20 years of years of operation. Those prisoners are all known terrorists, that no country wants, they aren’t innocent people. The US also gives billions in aid to the countries it defeats in war, to rebuild them. No other nation on Earth is as merciful and generous as the US
