  3. This is JUST like driving a big rig/18 Wheeler, or, Lorries as you call them on your side of the pond. Technically speaking, they all quantify as 'Class 10 Trucks', but the point is still the same: if something suddenly gets in the way of one of these things moving at speed, there IS no going around, it IS going to get run over because trying to avoid a collision with said obstruction would actually wind up causing a crash that WILL do more harm than good. It is unfortunate, but that is the reality of Newtonian physics on the Macro level, period!

  5. On a Semi tractor trailer (lorry), the brakes are spring loaded and always engaged, and requires about 110-120 p.s.i. of pneumatic pressure from the tractor in order to release them so it will roll.
