  3. It is increasingly becoming impossible to meet someone outside of the Internet. People assume that approaching women in real life is "creepy" unless you're very attractive and could get away with that. The increasing assumption of society is that online dating is the only appropiate place to meet women and there is an increasing demand for there to be a way to stop unattractive men being able to send unsolicited, unwanted and unrequited messages and right swipes to women online and communicate offline.

The problem is that the reality of biology and human mating is that a) it doesn't care about your feelings, b) it is incompatible with the profitability of self-help gurus and coaches; and c) uncomfortable truths cause offence, people play cognitive dissonance and fill that gap with belief and ideology such as the concept of a "soulmate" which also informs the good faith but ultimately damaging advice people are given (see also, religion and the afterlife).

And that's an average, the likelihood the odds are even worse for long term single men compared to pre-selected divorced men. Odds aren't good.

Have you seen the posters put up on lampposts in Bristol in the UK in the last week where they state that flirting, compliments and asking for a phone number is harassment under the law and therefore, by definition, illegal? Too dangerous to flirt and ask a woman out now. If she shames you on social media, it gets to the press and then your employer finds out you did it, you've bought the organisation into disrepute and you're fired. Not worth the risk of your career, your home and your reputation any more.

Women told men not to approach them in the real world, we are now seeing new and existing laws that criminalise cold approach. People do not want to be approached by strangers in the gym, at church and at social events in that regard. Warm approach is dying out with stigma and consequences for men who try it. It's even worse if you are middle aged or older and your friend circle has gone because they found partners and started families.

If you don't measure up, physically and metaphorically, and have the experience in dating and relationships at that point (you can't lift or bench-press your way to experience in a gym) as well as all the other characteristics you already needed, you're done. Thanks to social media, there is now a keeping up with the Jones's attitude to preferences which means everyone's bar rises and most men won't reach it.

I see a good number of people in the comments saying that they refuse to date a woman who has a tattoo, but only 8% of men in the survey said would outright reject (47% would consider it a deal-breaker). By the way, Alex from Date Psychology has a YouTube channel that I know Stardusk has recommended. A number of things he says won't be liked by the manosphere though.
