China's LLM AI must be pretty advanced if you got Stanford University researchers copying code from Tsinghua University and trying to past it off as their own...🤣

Manufacturers will produce until marginal revenue equals marginal cost. There's no overcapacity because manufacturers would not produce if marginal cost was greater than marginal revenue. Economics 101.
16
@marcusclarkson5520 Jack Ma tried to set up a parallel banking system outside of the state led one. He's lucky he only got a reprimand.
16
At least in the end she admitted her mistake. Way better than most of the Biden brain trust entourage...🤣

@jasonb444 The unprovoked invasion is only if you ignore everything else before that...🤣

Once again I will repeat that in 5-10 years the US will be living in a technological ghetto...🤣
15
Best thing is to demand that Chinese manufacturers produce the batteries and EVs in the US with locally sourced components. US going their own way is just a disaster waiting to happen.
14
Second Dongfang Hour. Blaine knows his sh*t and does an excellent job.
14
In today's world there's no way to have an independent supply chain due to China's dominance in the industry. It's best to partner with China for local production so at least the materials and manufacturing stay within Australia.
14
@GreenIslandWoodworks China is not dependent on food imports and their next store neighbor has all the raw materials they could possibly want. Cope harder...🤣
13
Have you seen the forex for the Yen lately?
13
@gelinrefira When your system is based on a popularity contest instead of on merit don't be surprised of the results...🤣
13
Europe is tapped out and Japanese Yen is nearing record highs against the USD. You can only whip your vassals so much to pick up the slack...🤣
13
US Treasuries are now being purchased by private foreign investors because of the high interest rates they're currently getting. According to economist Phillip Pilkington these investors, unlike purchases by foreign governments, are rate sensitive. Therefore once yields drop due to a recession foreign investors will stop buying them forcing the US trade deficit to close and US living standards to fall.
13
The reason they didn't move them to Hong Kong is that with a stroke of a pen that special status of Hong Kong can be revoked.
12
You could also say the same thing about semiconductors. Oh wait, isn't that what the Chinese are doing?🤣
12
Last western media report I saw on Indonesia was pushing the "at what cost" meme over the Jakarta-Bandung high speed rail project...🤣
12
@topsuperseven7910 Canada 2024 GDP Growth Forecast - 0.9%...🤣

Section 321 is why I love TEMU...🥰
12
@rap3208 If you have to hobble the competition than you're really not number one. You'll always be second because you've never reached the level needed to be number one...🤣
11
In a decade? We're already there. The average vehicle on the road in the US is 13 years old, which is up from 7 years old in the 1990s...:text-green-game-over:
11
Did you know per capita Canada has higher C02 emissions than China?🤣
11
People complain that China is not doing enough with counter sanctions, but if you look at game theory the best strategy is usually tit-for-tat. It's the conservative move, and that's what the Chinese have been applying.
11
See what happens when you throw Ricardo's comparative advantage out the window. It comes back to bite you...🤣
11
Paying more for less. It's the American way...🤣
10
@marcusclarkson5520 So a good thing is when the banking system runs the government and gets a bailout for speculative derivative investments? More "liberated" for the banks, not so much for the people who get the bill...🤣
10
"China is still behind the US in technology." - Except in 5G, high speed rail, nuclear fusion, NEVs, solar and wind power, etc...🤣
10
@akakakakakak3084 Incandescent light bulbs were banned in the US on August 1, 2023...🤣
9
"Now China is the world's factory, China is the world's biggest creditor nation..." and the US wants to tear it all down instead of letting China help mankind. Think about that for a moment.
9
Paying more for less, it's the American way...🤣
9
China now has a hypersonic drone that will make fighter aircraft obsolete...🤣
9
You're confusing Japan with China. You know there's a difference between Asian countries...🤣
9
You do realize that George Lucas is on record stating that Star Wars is based on the Vietnam War with the US being the evil empire and the Vietnamese resistance as the rebels?
9
@magnaviator Stanford University researchers got caught lifting code from a Tsinghua University project. There's an article in the SCMP explaining everything.
9
You could make them dormitories, but that's about it.
8
@natel9019 Of course it matters since the products at higher prices are not competitive on the world market. Unless you have a monopoly or oligopoly the product with the lowest price will always prevail on undifferentiated goods. Economics 101...🤣

Huh? You don't potable water for batteries. Plenty in the ocean that only needs to be desalinized to acceptable levels.
8
Huawei was able to use the open source version of Android, but Google Mobile Services (GMS) were blocked due to US sanctions.
8
China, unlike the USSR, is an open society since its citizens can freely travel and conduct trade with the majority of the world. Attempts to create blocs will only sow divisions and the US could find themselves in a much smaller bloc because they really have nothing to offer.
8
One minor correction. Auto manufacturers like GM sell your data to companies like LexisNexis, who in turn sells that data to insurance companies. In any case Boomers don't buy new cars since they drive way less, so no great loss to Chinese manufacturers.
7
2:22 Gargamel's sister...🤣
