@ericquiabazza2608 the judge has a vested interest as everyone in that courtroom prosecution included that rittenhouse walk. They don't want to give validity to what's behind it all which is the protest against the corrupt judicial system and police brutality and the call for reform of that. They need the protests and reforms to be marginalized and tamped down. Rittenhouse trial is just a circus to make people lose sight of the real issue.

Now mass shooters have a plan - shoot one person claiming they were going for their gun and made some death threats no one verify against then kill anyone who tries to stop you further using the self defense excuse
35
@mattw7057 Running off by himself for one. Why wasn't he with his militia buddies? If he were actually in the military, he'd be court-martialed for disobeying orders and being unaccountable
30
a question that needs to be asked is why was kyle walking around alone? Was he given orders by his militia sergeant to go on solo recon? Why wasn't he with the others? This makes me think we was looking for trouble and to flex his AR15 muscle.
28
agreed. We can debate what rosenbaum's intentions were, we'll never know but after rittenhouse killed him from the perspective of the crowd he was a lone gunman and a dangerous one at that. He had no badge, uniform, or ID to show he was on any side thus making him more of a danger. Huber didn't attack him a skateboard because rittenhouse was on the cop's side but because he had shot someone. The same with the man who aimed a gun at him. But for some reason conservatives won't allow them self defense because reasons (they're lefties). In a sane country, he probably get off for the first shooting but the second one he'd likely get something like manslaughter or something along that line. Here though they'll probably not even give him a lick of punishment.

Remember when people were upset with Bernie for not backing her enough or going on shows like Jimmy Dore to spread his message? Man, has Bernie been vindicated in keeping his distance from "allies" like that. If they were so willing to turn to the Right because Bernie didn't show them enough love they obviously weren't very progressive in the first place and Bernie saw thru them a lot better than many back then. I also remember how much vitriol Kasparian and Vigeland got for their early suspicions of Tulsi. They too were vindicated.
23
@mattw7057 again why was Rittenhouse alone? If he was threatened that rosenbaum would kill him if he was alone, don't you think he would have stayed with his group?
22
Centrists have really shown how deplorable they are. They're nothing but tribalists who think they have some kind of moral high ground but this election cycle has ripped the mask off of them
17
@cjking9693 you think they'd care? More protests mean more money for police and prisons and whatever other private group wants in on it like the weird holding facilities they have scooped lefty protestors into before. Plus militia can shoot at will and claim self defense
15
Nothing identified Rittenhouse as any kind of law enforcement official (which he wasn't). He was just a lone gunman walking around the crowd. What Rosenbaum was thinking we'll never know because Rittenhouse felt like shooting him 4 times killing him. Rosenbaum might have thought of disarming a potential threat. It's all conjecture but the 2nd and 3rd victims were after Rittenhouse had shot and killed Rosenbaum. Why they don't know. They only know there's a person with a gun who had shot someone. The next group that attacked him did so based on his actions. Then he killed another person which brought about his 3rd victim to pull a gun which he did not fire but Rittenhouse did once again fortunately not killing him. Beyond just what Rittenhouse did, why did Kenosha allowed unqualified unvetted unauthorized untrained unaccountable militia patrol the streets with guns? And who thought having a 17 year old there was a good idea? And back to Rittenhouse - why was he alone when he was confronted? Why wasn't he with his other militia members? Was he looking for trouble? In the military you don't wander off without orders and neither do police in a protest situation. Where was the accountability of knowing where everyone was?
13
@chibimonster_tv5827 that's so weird and obscure but it makes more sense than demanding someone who wears glasses to remove them because reasons
12
@GoatOfTheMountains no one is defending Rosenbaum as a good person. Try to get it thru your thick bloodlust skull that people prefer to live in a civilized society of laws and not one of vigilante justice where people take the law into their own hands.
11
@GoatOfTheMountains it is vigilantism because you refuse to see the bigger picture - Rittenhouse should have never been allowed to be there in the 1st place nor any of his militia buddies.
10
yeah I don't get the glasses thing - who demands someone take off their glasses in a discussion/debate? It's not like they're shields or give Intellect points like some video game item.
10
@ferko6 just drink the last cup of kool-aid your master Trump gives you and be gone with you
10
@GoatOfTheMountains talk about stupid responses. You can't get it that people don't want your brand of vigilante justice.
9
@cjking9693 The DNC is also complicit as Biden's Crime Bill helped a lot to make matters worse leading to our current police state with massive incarceration. However it is the rank and file of the GOP who advocate for vigilante militia style justice that is more worrisome. They want Rittenhouse to be justified so they can be justified. They're bloodthristy.
8
@kylequest no, he means Bernie Sanders the man with the most individual donors who has progressive endorsement in the US and abroad
7
Uh...Not Trump? That's a policy right?
7
@BobbyJ1998 which is why I wish a lot of those boomers just stayed home. As bad as not voting, ill-informed ignorant voting doesn't help either as those people wanting someone nice landed us with a senile candidate with a bad record and several allegations of sexual misconduct. Great job, guys!
7
At this point though Joe can lie convincingly because he doesn't remember it ever happening any more than he remembers his breakfast this morning
7
@AvroBellow They're kind of like Ahab going after the White Whale of Bernie not caring they are sinking their ship at the same time.
7
@kaykeelan3765 one can only hope but rightwing militias more serve the status quo than liberal reformers. Their worry is that if the protests receive more validity from average Americans something actually might get done which would upset a lot of apple carts. Militia types are too stupid to see the real problems of systemic corruption in need of reform and they can be used by the authorities unofficially to keep people in line out of fear.
7
well that doesn't show guilt at all
7
plus he was with a whole militia who had no business being there
6
@GoatOfTheMountains you're missing the point by a mile.
5
@stevensosa7 you don't understand the word vigilante, do you? Vigilantism is when people take the law into their own hands. The protestors don't fit that description no matter how much you fail to understand that.
5
In their effort to beat Sanders, the DNC has gone scorched earth to point of destroying whatever moral high ground they pretended to have. Now the GOP will feel even more embolden to ignore any complaint by the DNC because their hypocrisy is on full display. They've utterly destroyed the metoo movement as no one will believe them anymore.
5
@spencerharmon4669 bingo! It's all dog whistles with them and they know exactly what they mean. Self defense is only for them to use to justify their killing of undesirables.
5
Mary Shelly's Frankenstein in real life in the form of the GOP base. The GOP bred and fed this monster for decades then Trump Pie-Piper'ed them away and now they are turning on their creators. Brilliant!
5
you need some salt for that mental pretzel you've twisted yourself into?
4
Dick Van Dyke is 15 years older and I would trust him to be president over Biden
4
Watching a bully run from a fight is always hilarious.
4
Tis Treason, Sirrah!
4
pretty easy job - take any positive news of Bernie and spin it negatively. "Bernie gets $25Million in Q3 fund raising? Headline - Bernie falls short of $30 million! Will he drop out?"
4
And two years later Hillary shows up to muck up the primaries with baseless smears of certain candidates and yet she is not a knowing agent of chaos?
4
more overtly fascist as they have always been fascist
4
That's why it's important to get people out to vote. It's easier to steal a close election than a landslide. The real problem is they'll ignore the popular vote like the GOP and focus their cheating energies on key areas and super delegates. Expect media blackouts, voter roll purges, poll closings or not even opened, "incompetent" ballot handling in these places.
4
awesome! This kind of thing will sideswipe the DNC if Republicans switch and vote for Bernie in the primaries.
4
It's now at 8 million and in his top ten most viewed videos. Meanwhile #myberniestory trended at #1 on twitter today yet the media will act like Bernie is not electable. Where are any of the other candidates including Warren creating this kind of fire? Only in the polls is Bernie somehow behind.
4
But his supporters want and have always wanted this kind of government so long as they feel they are near the top
3
@stevensosa7 there's no point in discussing with someone who doesn't understand basic definitions
3
And they are so bloody obstinate in their nothing burger. Media brainwashing is so effective in the US for those above 50 on both sides of the political fence.
3
@WeatheringHeights1 it says that rightwing mobs rule because at the end of the day these idiots support the status quo even as they die because of it and they are willing to kill those dissent.
3
As they say in the UK, everything is about to go tits up if we don't do anything about climate change.
3
Biden is likely to lose the popular vote out of apathy. He has no fire and certainly not his supporters. Warren I can see winning the popular vote but still losing the Electoral. Trump will savage her on her waffling record. She showed how she played his game with the whole DNA thing. She doesn't have the same fire as Bernie nor does she inspire people to the level of Bernie. To beat a fake populist with an inflamed base you need a real populist with an inspired base.
3
it's funny as they don't care about principles/ethics when Crowder is ignoring such things but now suddenly they are all serious outraged - FFS they have no shame or self awareness
3
how have they destroyed it? FYI it's been deteriorating for a long time but fools drunk on Obama Hope Juice think it was better before Trump. Wages have long stagnated, healthcare costs have been astronomical for decades, we've been at war for 2 straight decades, our infrastructure has been crumbling for decades. Trump is the symptom of the rot not the source.
3
maybe they plan to do a switcheroo after the convention - get Biden nominate, then have him declared unfit, have his VP pick run in his stead with a new VP. Could be how they got Buttigieg to drop out before Super Tuesday promising him a slice of this action.
3
@AlanDantes76 funny how no one else ended up in Rittenhouse's situation thru-out the whole thing. And burn your strawman about Rosenbaum. No one is saying he was some good guy. You lot can't understand that we prefer to live in a country of laws and not a country of arbitrary vigilante whims.
