They act as though regulations came about because the government felt like regulating for nefarious purposes rather than an outcry from the public from companies exploiting their workers and putting out defective products. Roosevelt didn't create the FDA because he wanted to be a tyrant but because people were up in arms after Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle" made them sick to their stomach.

The only ones who feel represented are privileged virtue-signaling liberals who think they are centrists. When this group says Bernie is not a Democrat I like to fire back with "neither are you! And do you even know what a Democrat is?" For many of them it's just a team jersey and a "Not GOP"

  5. maybe they're hoping if he gets the nomination but "suddenly" has to drop out in August for medical reasons, his VP will take over for him be it Hillary or Harris with a new centrist VP like Klobuchar or Buttigieg.

  6. This pandemic has really shown how horribly out of touch the elites are on both the right and the left. Whether it be singing from their mansions in rooms they've never stepped into before or saying they are ok with the elderly dying so that the stock market stays healthy or thinking medicare for all is just a political ploy. Bernie needs to stay in not only to move Biden to the left especially on healthcare but in case Biden completely falls apart between now and the convention - and no we aren't taking a last minute substitute like Cuomo.

Who cares that he got major endorsements after his heart attack then had the largest rally crowd of any other candidate? He's irrelevant and no cares about him. I mean all my friends in the Hamptons don't like him and I think he's a Russian Asset too. We need to beat Trump and a guy who has more followers on social media than the other candidates is not going to do it. We need super delegates and billionaires. Centralist 2020!
