  7.  @Haris1  I take it you meant "electoral" system? Its not about third party "chances", its not a lottery. If enough people vote for them, they will win. But people dont, so it wont happen. Ergo, either you live in a literal dictatorship, and the exclamation "we were never asked" doesnt make sense, because, well, duh. Thats how dictatorships work. Or admit the general public is too ignorant/intellectually lazy to vote for anything but status quo even though they could change it. In which case the "we were never asked" only highlights their own mental shortcomings and it could rightly be argued the elite is in the right depriving them of influence since they obviously dont know or care what they even vote for in the first place. In short: They were asked. Perhaps they didnt understand/didnt want to understand the question though. But thats on them, as adults, I think.

  8.  @idnintel  They were voted in. Within the framwork of how you democratic system works. If they have issues with that, I suggest the public at large should take an interest to change it. We have seen scant little of this thus far. But as of yet, they were indeed legally correctly voted in by the public.

  9.  @Haris1  Well thats in effect how the democratic system in most western nations work. Even if you get seats, you are never assured influence until you can secure whatever slim majority of votes (50.1%+ etc). People will just have to learn to vote in their own interest to a higher degree, rather than idle, boiler plate "this is how we always did it" mindset. Failing this, perhaps it can be argued the population at large had their chance for democratic change but squandered it, and thus everything that happens afterwards is as it should be.

  10.  @Haris1  I know, I was hoping that me writing "in effect" at the beginning would have shown how the systems gives the same effect in practice even with proportional representation. Lets say you get 49 percent for your party, and the next largest one a measly 5%. Easy win for your party right? But its not, if other parties form a coalition, enough of them to get above the 50%. This is what happened numerous times and many voters in those countries cant understand. "But it was the largest party and they got 0 influence? This isnt democracy". But it is, according to the rules. ,"In effect" / in practice, the results are therfore similar when voting for anti establishment, but them failing to gather enough votes (a majority). In short: The general public should put their money where their mouth is, instead of hoping someone else is going to do their work for them.

  13. Not a partisan supporter of Biden by any means, but fair is fair: If you dont go hog wild with the appliances, you can keep your house running for days, with the charge contained in a typical electric car. In my relatively miserly household, a week can be possible.

  20. Yes, the defence can easily prove him innocent. Very easily. But that doesnt matter. They could have irrefutable proof that he is the second coming of Jesus himself, it still wouldnt matter. When will people get that in so far that any evidence and presumption of innocence mattered anywhere, it certainly no longer does. There is technically nothing stopping the state/powers that be for charging anyone with any crime, even a purely fictional one, and finding them guilty without any evidence at all or even overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Thats because its humans who decide the verdict, and they are easily influenced or even predjudiced from the start. How are there so relatively many, provably innocents in prison if the justice system worked as it should. And those people havent got the entire state and all its arms, legacy media etc against them.

  32. People are taking the supreme court decisions too lightly, even styx and part of this very comment field. Think about it, anything but a 9-0 decision means the court isnt fit for purpose, since its not supposed to be affected by partisan issue. The legal part is clear as day, takes all of 10 seconds for a verdict. Of course, thats not the reality, it is heavily partisan and has been so for a long time, but that just means it isnt fit for purpose as I said. People accepting this kind of slow slide down the slippery slope and normalization is what got us here in the first place. "Oh its just a partisan issue..." No, thats unacceptable. It should be disbanded and everyone on it fired. Start anew.

I remember I was a bit sceptical over that claim. Well, its been a long time since I have seen you shirtless by now.... But kidding aside, much of the world eats very little protein and are very skinny. Ever seen an old Japanese or Korean man? yeah, not exactly muscular as a bull by any stretch even in their younger years, and they dont get around any worse or die any younger than western men. So by at least that definition, I think he does indeed have "enough" of both.

  48. To be fair, a vast majority (yes, majority) of men shouldnt vote either, certainly in modern times. Just too ill-informed, disinterested and just plain stupid to make any positive contribution. In a perfect world both men and women, but only those having the right traits should be allowed to vote.
