The EU has exported ZERO vaccines. The European vaccine companies are exporting vaccines to cover their orders. P.s the UK is in Europe.
3
The French go on strike every few months which causes delays at Calais, that doesn't cause the UK to grind to a halt. Only 8% of UK imports go through Calais. Who is worrying about running short of Salad and Citrus fruit over Xmas???? LOL This is the BBC's failed attempt at "Project Fear" AGAIN. LOL
3
Watch the EU leaders start fighting and blaming each other. He said, She said. They all wanted to have their say and now it's going tits up for the EU they are all stepping away in the hopes the blame falls on someone else. They all stood on their high horse, making promises to each other and they all believed their own hype. Now they are not going to get what they wanted or what they promised. So they all crawl back into their little shells and pray it doesn't come crashing around their ears. LOL Next the EU leaders will blame the UK for their own failures. The EU has made impossible demands on the UK.
3
There is an over population of elephants. Sick of this so called climate change nonsense. This is nothing more than the cycle of the earth.
3
I can hear the BBC's Pro EU bias AGAIN !!!!!
3
The BBC says we're all doomed so it must be true. LOL 🤣😆🤣😆
3
They aren't allowed to speak out against Putin.
2
Most people can self isolate at home when they return.
2
What do you expect. The younger generation are the ones throwing plastic rubbish in rivers. The older generation have more respect for the countryside. Stop selling drinks in plastic bottles. Recycle glass bottles like I did when I was young. (with a deposit on glass bottles) Problem solved.
2
They are all just following UK government guide lines.
2
@GoldieDawn There is always a joker. They all get told the same information from Sage. Then they act on it. Sage the UK government adviser. Then Scotland pretends to do something differently. When they are just doing as they are told. Like a good little lap dog. Sctland Wales and Northern Ireland still spend the Covid funds supplied by the UK government. All that being said its only the SNP who fail to meet all there promises to improve NHS Scotland.
2
 @malakgamer8403 Ha Ha. NO!!!!
2
Its very simple. The Sad Losers keep pushing Pro EU/Anti UK propaganda like this video. The other answer is that the EU keep demanding control of the UK with a so called "Level Playing Field" which is only works if your in the EU and want to remain under the control of the EU. The up side is we will be free from the Bias BBC and the EU very soon. LOL
2
@pyeltd.5457 The UK left the EU at the start of 2020.
2
It's spreads fast but it's a very weak strain. What a fuss about nothing. Trust the BBC to make a mountain out of a mole hill. The BBC says be afraid, scared, worried as a distraction from the corruption inside the BBC.
2
@Special_Agent_NSB The EU manufactured the NEW unrest in Ireland. I dont see any media coverage of the unrest in Southern Ireland, thats because it doesn't suit their narrative. Those big walls are there because they are needed to keep the peace.
2
@christopherblackburn6811 It's called a digital trade border. They work all round the world. It will work in Ireland as well. The EU bang on about protecting their Single Market. The Single Market is a failed economic project. The reality is the import-export between the ROI and the UK is a one way street. The vast majority of exports travel from the ROI to the UK. Very little travels from the UK (NI) to the ROI. So what is there to protect? The only thing that is a bit cheaper in NI is food. Fuel is cheaper in the ROI. So the trade border is a problem for the EU. Not for the UK.
2
@brianpinn7667 OK so they have made everyone who wishes to investigate the origin of the virus outbreak apply to the CCP. The CCP have no interest in proving the virus started in China, so they wont allow anyone to investigate. In effect this is a Blanket Ban. Combined with the fact that CCP have already blamed the virus on Italy and Russia and Africa and the USA on Chinese State Run TV, goes to prove the CCP will never allow China to take responibility for the virus they tried to cover up in the first place and allowed it to spread across the globe. Taiwan reported the virus was passing from Human to Human to the World Health Organisation in December.
2
@Ayesha-be4fv Yet the UK is still doing far better than the EU. What does that say about the EU?
2
Is this the first time the BBC has been possitive about the UK? I was waiting for the usual BUT and the negativity from the BBC. It's funny how Labour got to have a say in this report. Especially when Labour has been demanding further/greater/larger lockdowns.
2
Thank goodness we escaped the EU. The UK would have been at the back of the queue for vaccines from the EU.
2
@maddwarf7976 The EU will have to void legally binding vaccine supply contracts to stop vaccines being exported. Breaking International Law. If your foolish enough to defend the EU Commissions failures that are clearly effecting every EU country. (effecting your own countries economy) Causing lives to be lost across the EU. Please try to justify WHY the EU Commission waited over 3 months to order vaccines, after the UK had ordered vaccines? Which delayed manufacturing across the EU. Even worse is the fact that the UK sent letters of intent to order vaccines if they managed to produce an effective vaccine in June 2020, which is 6 months before the EU Commission finally woke up.
2
@lssnow8195 The UK got a guaranteed of supply contract from AZ. The EU only got a best effort clause which does not guarantee anything.
2
@lssnow8195 The EU only got a Best Effort contract, which does not guarantee the EU anything in a set period of time. The UK did get a guaranteed supply agreement with AZ. The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine research was funded by the UK at Oxford University, which means the UK partly owns the patent on the AZ vaccine. Which is why the UK has given vaccines to over 50% of the adult population.
2
@lssnow8195 AZ isn't competing for contracts. AZ is selling the vaccines at cost price. Roughly £1 per dose. Compare that to the other Covid vaccine companies charging £6-£9 per dose. AZ is producing vaccines at zero profit. The EU's Best Effort contract does not guarantee the EU a certain volume of vaccines in a set period of time. There was not a promise or a guarantee.
2
@lssnow8195 The whole world is desperate for Covid vaccines. Yes the UK was fortunate to have the freedom to act fast. Yes every country around the world is jumping through hoops for vaccines including the UK. I dont wish any harm on anyone or any country. I hope this whole mess is sorted out soon for everyone. My whole point was that the EU Commission manipulates the facts to cover up their failures. Even today VDL said "Europe" through Covax is the world largest exporter of vaccines. Yes that is true because the UK as part of Europe and the UK has funded Covax with 500 Million which is far more than the EU has funded Covax. Yet VDL tries to pretend those European vaccine exports are down to the EU. The UK's AstraZeneca vaccine has been licensed for production in India and Australia (India is the largest vaccine producer in the world). So the reality is the UK has done the largest distribution of vaccines around the world.

Very sad.

The Actress plays the role of a victim, while Pinocchio was living the life of luxury (funded by the British taxpayers) as part of British Royalty. Once her demands to put the Royal Brand on underwear was refused and she couldn't cash in, she moved to the USA to sell her "Privacy" to the highest bidder. Sorry we dont believe your Sad little ACT. Isn't it funny how Harry likes to back up his wife using the Race Card but we remember him wearing a Nazi Uniform at a party, which the British public were horrified at his mindless actions.
2
What an Amazing Lady.
2
The EU Broke International law when it invoked Article 16 of the WA without giving at least 30 days notice to all parties involved. The EU Commission should have given at least 30 days notice before any announcement to The Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England and the EU's own parliament. It doesn't matter that the EU did a U-Turn because they had already broken International Laws the EU had demanded.
2
The UK already has Far Higher Standards than the EU. The is the BBC's Project Fear 3.0. What a Joke. The BBC only give air time to the Remoaners.
2
@anthonydowling3356 The Republic of Ireland is the largest financial contributor into the EU's budget for the next 7 years (Per Capita) The EU is punishing Ireland for being a tax haven. Ireland has the largest national debt in the EU per capita. Ireland has just lost a large volume of its fishing quotas in Irish waters. https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/ireland-to-pay-over-3200-to-eu-for-every-man-woman-and-child-in-the-country-over-the-next-seven-years-39389257.html The ROI will be the largest financial contributor into the EU's Covid recovery fund over the next few decades (per capita) because its all worked out on the ROI's revenue for having lower Corporation Tax inside the EU which has meant big companies like Google and Facebook moved to the ROI to pay less tax inside the EU. Lets not forget the Republic of Ireland is due to pay 25 Billion this month to repay the Irish Banking Crisis loan, that the EU lumbered that debt on the ROI, when it wasn't the sole responsibility of the ROI. Yes i agree the ROI did well from EU membership initially, the reality is the ROI has been used and tossed aside by the EU Commission now they have no further use for the ROI.
2
Nope i dont think so !!!!!! Why would you go to a country with poor quality health care??? You cannot get travel insurance to cover Covid-19.
2
Kids are not at risk of serious health problems from Covid.
2
Great News. Freedom from the None Elected in Brussels.
2
#DefundTheBBC >>>>>> Sign the Petition.
2
The BBC loves this. They would complain if the government wasn't testing. Now they make a big thing the government is testing. It's time to get rid of the BBC attack dogs even if they are wearing a dress. They are making the people frightened.
2
No chance. Bye Bye EU. We are sick and tired of the constant threats from Brussels. 4 years of EU bully boys and EU dirty tricks.
2
This is just another desperate BBC attempt to throw mud at the government, in the hopes that the BBC can get rid of the Conservatives before the government stops the BBC's public funding. The problem is the government has an 88 seat majority because the British public voted to put them there. So the BBC's Pro EU/Anti UK/Anti government narrative is just digging the BBC a deeper hole.
2
Since when was the BBC funded by the USA???? So what is the point to this video ???? What a load of Anti British Garbage by the BBC AGAIN !!!!!!. Just like the Pinocchio story they are all jumping on the "Victim" bandwagon.
1
@newcastlenympho5240 if they are stupid enough to do that in the future they will get a fine. The BBC likes to make exaggerated claims in their headlines. This is just the BBC pushing their Anti British agenda AGAIN. Which is why the British public are refusing to fund the BBC in their tens of thousands. Do they really expect normal people to swallow their nonsense? Even thousands of pensioners are refusing to pay the BBC.
1
@newcastlenympho5240 sorry that is wrong. You don't need to pay a TV licence for streaming services unless you are streaming live broadcasts. Or BBC content. Yes we have all seen the misleading BBC information that tries to imply otherwise.
1
It's because the EU doesn't except the UK will be an independent country. Were leaving the EU and niether the BBC or the EU wants the UK to fully leave the control of the EU and have the freedom to trade with the whole world. The EU put UK fishermen out of business and then the corrupt EU used UK tax payers money to pay majority of the UK fishing fleet to destroy/scrap/burn their boats. It's another EU sick joke and the corrupt BBC tries to defend the corrupt EU. We all know the BBC has always been Pro EU/Anti UK. Plus the BBC will carry on repeating any narrative that might effect Conservative control in an attempt to keep the BBC being funded by the UK tax payers. The same BBC refuses to fairly represent the normal people of the UK.
1
@pauln6803 Well I'm sure there are bad apples in every age group. The difference is the older generation colleted there shopping in brown paper bags and we recycled our glass bottles. If you wanted to buy a lot of food from the shops you took a large shopping bag with you. Otherwise there wasn't a way to carry your shopping home. The older generation were already eco friendly green, decades before they were box ticking words (that actually sound great but mean nothing)
1
@pauln6803 That simply isn't true. When glass bottles are washed and reused over and over again it is very cost effective. How much do you think recycling costs? Sorting through different types of plastic waste?
1
@pauln6803 I agree with everything you have just said. It's also worth mentioning that 90% of the plastics flowing into the oceans come from Asia India and Africa. Yes the UK can play it's part in cleaning up our own tiny amount of plastic pollution but until we put pressure on the largest polluters and take a stand against the supermarkets we are literally wasting our time. There are ways to recycle mixed plastics and car tyres but there is no appetite for it in the UK. Every time a UK based company applies for planning permission the locals don't want it on their doorstep. The UK could generate power and recycle all mixed plastics while making a profit and the process isn't a new idea. By heating plastics in an oxygen free container you can literally turn mixed plastics back into high grade oil, so it can be used again and again. It's called Pyrolysis. I constructed a small batch Pyrolysis machine in my shed 15 years ago. From waste plastics I produced my own oil that could run a diesel engine but the same oil could have been used to manufacture new plastics.

@zeldazoned Clearly you dont understand the BBC has UK Tax Payers funding for at least another 5 years guaranteed. If they can undermine the government in power that threatens their funding and get Labour or any other political party in power. They can carry on getting their tax payers money. Before you even attempt to defend the BBC you need to watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGg6cQ_RTY4

The UK funded and developed Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is being sold at cost price. Costing £1 per dose. Compare that to the other Covid vaccines costing £6-£9 per vaccine. The UK has licensed the AZ vaccine to be manufactured around the world for zero profit and the EU still attacks the UK because they couldn't be bothered to order the vaccines until three months after they banned individual EU countries like Germany and Italy ordering their own vaccines. All because the EU Commission was on a power trip/grab.
1
Opponents !!! That is what they do.

@leahb4802 They just got bullied into making a statement.
