  7.  @FuturePluperfect  Your twists and turns are laughable. You pretend to be pro Conservative. You defend the BBC saying its "More Factual" than other news outlets from the USA?? While the BBC is the most despised instituion in the UK. I dont need to watch Fox to know the BBC is broken and on its last legs, fighting for survival to keep the British Public funding. It's already too late. The BBC went against the majority of the British Public for the last 5 years. Now they stoop to a new low. In an attempt to undermine the Conservatives with there biase narrative. To try and keep the BBC afloat. Dont flip flop your view point. Get some back bone. Stand up for what you believe. Personally trade with the USA and the rest of the world can only be a good thing. No matter who is in power in America. Its better than being under the complete control of the EU and far better than being led by the Communist Labour Party. Many years ago Labour was meant to be there for the working men and women of the UK. Now the only thing they want is to remove every ounce of control from the workers of our country. There is a lot of things wrong with the UK and the majority of the is due to the fluffy unicorn huggers in the Lefty Labour Party. They might have a new pair of trousers in Keir Starmer but their extremely dangerous ideals remain the same. Please tell me how to deal with ignorant rioters and looters? Intent on mindless destruction? Yes what happened to that poor man by the hands of the police was horrific. Does that justify burning peoples homes and property? How to you stop those actions without the use of force? When we had the London Riots it required force to stop it. Why is the USA any different?

  12.  @christopherblackburn6811  Any import or export required a digital paper trail. At the moment it is far easier to send or receive deliveries between the UK and the USA, than it is to send goods a few miles between Northern Ireland and GB or GB to France. The EU has crippled its own export economy over night. Those border restriction they have enforced so strictly to the UK are having to be applied to all EU exports out of the block. Every attempt to attack/damage/disrupt the UK's economy has backfired on the EU's economy and damaged EU businesses far more. Even the delays at the French ports are mainly effecting EU hauliers. Even before the Brexit vote 87% of trucks and drivers entering and leaving the UK were EU register/owned truck and EU drivers. The Spanish hauliers are up in arms over the delays at the French crazy customs checks. When trucks and drivers are delayed by 6 hours each way by the French customs the EU based haulage firms are losing thousands every day. For the EU that is not sustainable. The UK has not seen in increase in prices on supermarket shelves so EU based manufacturing and haulage companies must to be taking the hit. Over the past year UK businesses have had to adapt and find reliable alternative supply chains from inside the UK or outside the EU because of the combination of Covid and the constant threats from the EU commission. The UK has been a Net importer of food for more than 100 years (pre WW1) so importing food isn't an issue. There is a new direct shipping route from Morocco to bypass buying fresh fruit salad and veg from Spain. The UK will start enforcing the customs rules on imports from the EU later this year which will cause some disruption but that gives UK importers plenty of time to find cheaper alternatives supply chain from outside the EU. The UK makes up 70-80% of the ROI's sales of goods into Europe. The ROI's exported goods mainly go to the USA Canada and the UK. The ROI's exports to the rest of the EU27 is minuscule. Yes they export most of their digital service to the EU. That's because companies like Google and Facebook are based in the ROI, simply because the ROI is a tax haven inside the EU. With it's low Corporation tax rate. So the trade in goods (mostly food/agricultural) from the ROI to the UK is very important to the ROI. We are going to see a lot of changes in the next 12 months and normal people dont understand the massive impact/damage it's going to have on the EU's exports. Combined with the financial impact of Covid across the EU, has created the perfect storm. Even the AfD are pushing their next election to take Germany out of the EU. In France Marine La Pen has jumped to poles with her Anti EU campaign. France Italy Spain were basically bankrupt before the impact of Brexit and Covid. Greece will never be able to repay it's debts now. Germany is propping up the Euro but that is not sustainable. If the UK or Germany called in there loans to the individual EU countries the EU would go bust overnight. We could easily see an exchange rate of 1.4 to 1.6 Euro's to the Pound Sterling later this year or the first quarter of next year. There is a very quiet mass exodus of businesses and investment moving out of the EU at the moment. Estimate iv seen amount to over a Trillion Euro's because the EU is not a safe/secure place to do business or for investment.

  36.  @ScottishRoss27  You forgot to mention those figures your quoting are mostly Net Imports to the UK-England. That gives the UK spending power. When things become 12-25% more expensive from the EU. The UK will buy None EU/International goods and services and save 12-25%. (12% if there is a UK/EU FTA or 25% on a No Deal) For the record roughly 50% of the UK's spending is done in the EU. The other half is International trade outside the EU. If the SNP managed to con the Scottish people into an independence vote, Scotland would lose most of its Exports overnight. Yes the rest of the UK is the largest buyer of Scottish goods and service. The Combine 27 EU countries only buy roughly 12-15% of Scotland's exports. So you grandkids to ask for a Second Referendum. Instead of collecting 10% import tax on None EU goods, that is sent directly to Brussels slush fund. That will make None EU goods 12% cheaper in the UK. Without an FTA (No Deal) the UK will charge at least a 10% tariff on EU goods and services which will fund the UK's public services. So it's a Win Win for the UK. Simply because the UK buys almost double the amount from the EU, compared to how much the EU buys from the UK. That means the UK will collect roughly twice/double/2X the amount of tariffs to pay for the UK's NHS Police Schools etc etc. The EU is on the losing side and if Scotland ever joined the EU it would be broke/bankrupt in two years and up to your neck in Migrants. So please tell me why the SNP leaders want to sign Scotland into the EU's financial slavery????
