Rebecca Long Bailey was clearly a hard left Communist supporter and if she refused to remove her comment that some people found offensive (racist nature) she has no place in politics. If she had made similar comments about black people there would be an national uproar. If she was any sort of polition she would have removed the post, once it was pointed out to be offensive. Of course Starmer will use this to remove communist extremists that were openly the downfall of the Labour party in the last general election. The British Public including many life time Labour supporters voted Conservative to make sure Corbyn and his extreme communist views couldn't gain traction in the UK.

  12. Ireland doesn't have enough AZ vaccines, so they suspend the use of it, to cover up the fact they dont have any to give. More EU cover ups and Ireland becomes the EU's lacky AGAIN. Isn't it funny that Ireland is the only country to fully support continued membership of the failed EU project (in a recent EU Commission poll across the whole of the EU27)

  19. Well said. Reading the comments i think most of the UK agree with you. The BBC think they can sway the public but the comments prove we are sick and tired of the BBC taking the side of the EU. The BBC are anti British/anti Conservative. The BBC know they are on borrowed time, so they are trying to do as much damage to the Government and to the UK, in the hopes that a different political party will save the BBC. I dont even support the Conservatives but if they are willing to defund the BBC i will back that all they way.

  22. This is the failed nature of the EU commission. They cant order life saving vaccines in a timely manner but they are very fast at manufacturing fake propaganda to cover up the EU Commissions constant failures. They have to suspend the use of AZ vaccines because they simply dont have enough of the vaccines. The UK will be out of lockdown for the summer and the majority of the EU will be in lockdown for the hot summer months. The protests and riots have already started across the EU and its going to get a lot worse when the weather warms up and people are trapped in their homes for a second summer.

Allowing countries around the world to order vaccines 3 months before the EU placed an order for Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines. Now the whole world has seen the EU leadership cant be trusted. Including the normal hard working citizen's living inside the EU, who are being effected the most by failures of Brussels.

The EU Commission only ordered 40 Million vaccines at the end of December and a second order for 300 Million in January. The EU Commission failed to order vaccines on time. Months after stopping countries like Germany and Italy ordering their own vaccines. This is directly effecting the normal people living in the EU.

Which means AZ would try to supply vaccines to the EU but there is no guarantee. Do you understand the French vaccine company Valneva moved their Covid vaccine research and development and manufacturing plant to the UK in September because the EU Commission wasn't interested in funding them. https://valneva.com/research-development/covid-19-vla2001/ Valneva is producing a vaccine that will be easy to adapt to future strains/variants of Covid. The UK has already placed a provisional order for 190 Million vaccines from Valneva and the EU/EC are still in talks to order 60 Million. The UK has acted fast at every stage, which is why the UK has given vaccines to more than 50% of its adult population and the EU has only given vaccines to 11% of the population.

Giving the UK part ownership of the AZ vaccine patent. Why would the UK invest Billions into lots of different vaccine companies research and developments and testing unless it had a legally binding contract for reliable vaccine supplies? The EU Commission has admitted they invested in Covax and that the EU backed the wrong horse. Instead of investing in vaccine research the EU waited to order vaccines once they were at the second stage of testing. The letter of intent to purchase AZ vaccines by the UK in June 2020 gave the UK a 3 month head start. So the fault lies with Brussels.

That will change next year, when most of them become Net contributors, once the UK isn't keeping the EU afloat. It's really rather comical. (if you live in the UK) Not so much if you live under the control of the Unelected leaders in Brussels next year.
