  4.  @edwingan1988  I think the whole world is taking stock of China's actions and re-thinking there attitude towards future dealing with China. Lets be honest and admit China isn't the cheapest place in the world for manufacturing any more. A lot of manufacturing has moved out of China to the rest of Asia. India and Africa will become the worlds manufacturing hubs over the next few decades.

The question is how will China feed its self when countries find alternative markets outside of China. The Chinese government has openly warned its people to prepare for food shortages and not to waste food.

Year after year its going to come back. One day we will all be old/elderly and worried that the virus has hospitalised our friend or they have died from the virus. What happens when we become one of the 0.5% who dont survive? I caught Covid last year and it was scary. My parents are elderly. Yes im genuinely happy Australia hasn't been effected as badly as the UK. I hope that situation stays the same in the future. I would never wish anyone to see the constant flow of ambulances day and night, rushing people to hospital. One of my family members works in a retirement home for the elderly. They lost 16 of their residents to Covid in 3 weeks. That was half their residents. All im saying is these are real people that have died, not just numbers or percentages.

  10. With thanks to the UK's Oxford-AstraZeneca which has been licensed across many parts of the world, which will be manufactured and sold at cost (roughly £1 per jab) compared to the other which cost £6-£9 per jab.

  13. People might not like or agree with Trump but he reduced taxes and increased wages and massively reduced unemployment by creating genuine jobs. Trump achieved far more in 4 years than Obama did in 8 years. The Woke, Box Ticking, Green agenda jobs that aren't profitable, Plus higher taxes are already back with a vengeance with Biden. China and Russia don't need to drop nuclear weapon on America or cyber warfare on America, they just need to keep Biden and his cronies in power for the next 8 years to destroy the USA.

The same way my brain tells me turn over or watch something else, if i dont want to watch it. I don't want or need Youtube to sensor what i can and can't watch.

  15. Over 27 Million people in the UK have had the Covid vaccines so far. I'm neither for or against vaccines. Both my elderly parents have had the AstraZeneca jab.

  16.  @cadaeishere8242  I'm not saying i would have the vaccine. I caught Covid last year. It hit me hard. I was really rough for 2 weeks and had the constant cough for 4 weeks. I still had shortness of breath 4 months after i'd recovered. Honestly something that bad would have killed my elderly mother because she has health conditions and she's nearly 80 years old. Vaccines are a personal choice and i'm not preaching that anyone should or shouldn't have the jab.

  17.  @ryogunther5070  My point was that it was the right choice for my elderly parents to have the Covid vaccine and it's my personal choice not to have the vaccine because iv already had Covid. My daughter was made extremely ill from the HPV vaccine and had long term health issues because of it, over many years. So I'm not telling anyone to what they should do because everyone is different.

I'm not elderly but I caught Covid last year. It's crappy and I was still short of breath months afterwards. I know of elderly people locally who have died from Covid and a family member works in a retirement home where almost half the residents died (14 in total)

  23. @Event201 Plushie Firstly do you understand how these Vaccine centers are set up? You walk into a reception area. Then you get called to a sperate seating area which is a waiting area. Then you get called over for your injection. Then you go to another area for at least 15 minutes after the jab. Every area and ever chair is disinfected between each person. So if someone managed to get a camera into a vaccine center they would be stopped at the reception area and got no further without an appointment. Of course they would look fairly empty because they don't want everyone sitting next to each other. So I'm calling BS on what ever you think you have seen. Because all these vaccine centers have been set up in the same way. For safety reasons. Iv walked past 3 different vaccine centers and my parents have both been to different ones. They are all set up in the same way. So that is comparing 5 different vaccine centers. Iv also spoken to friends that live in different areas and they had the same type of set up. With the different zones to keep people separate for safety.

  29. We wont holiday in the EU this year. The combination of the EU's failed vaccine rollout means the EU will be an Amber or Red travel zone this year. The way the EU has constantly attacked the UK and UK Ex-Pats living in the EU is horrific. UK pensioners that have retired to the likes of Spain and France are being given 30 days to leave because of the new "minimum income" rule they have just dreamed up. Plus the way the EU restricted vaccine exports (the word "restricted" is EU double talk for Banned) So were not in any hurry to support the EU's economy in the next few years.

If you dont understand there are always a handful of petrol stations that are closed every day of the year because they run out of fuel across the whole of the UK. Then you need to have a serious rethink. BP reported 5 petrol stations had closed on that day. Then the MSM reported Scary Headlines of "fuel shortages" and the panic buying started. The MSM manufactured/triggered the panic buying, which caused fuel shortages. Next you will be saying this is because of Brexit !!!!! but if that was the case, WHY didn't this "fuel shortage" happen when we left the EU?

  32.  @hugheaston7598  Wrong again. Most people don't fill their fuel tanks to the top in the UK. On average most people put £20-£30 in their tank every week. Only people doing long trips every day fill their fuel tanks to the top. Even if you live in the countryside, your only 5-10 miles from a petrol station at the very most. Yes if you travel to remote areas of Scotland there might be 15-20 miles between one petrol station and the next. Where i live there are two petrol stations just up the road and there used to be two more 100-200 meters down the road. In any direction from my house there will be at least one petrol station every mile for at least a 50 mile radius. So you are clearly talking utter rubbish. I asked my mates wife what all the fuss is about because she works in a petrol station and she says they are getting fuel deliveries more than normal to cope with the loopy panic buyers. BP leaked the fake news to the MSM because there was a grand total of 5 petrol station closed because they had a couple of truck drivers off sick. The rest is just morons panic buying. We have seen the idiots filling up 10x fuel cans at the back of their car and people filling plastic pop bottles with fuel. Is that normal? Or is that stupid people panic buying. I can assure you of one thing, you cant buy a 5 liter petrol fuel can in the UK at the moment because the morons bought them all.

  33.  @hugheaston7598  That's because normal people understand carrying the extra weight of a full tank of fuel reduces fuel mileage, The same as having low pressure in your tyres or carrying extra weight in the boot of the car. Thats the reason manufactures fit a space saver wheel and tyre. Over the lifetime of a vehicle the reduced weight of the space saver wheel and tyre will save hundreds of pounds in fuel. It's not rocket science. If your idea was correct and everyone fills their fuel tank up to the top. Why were people queuing to fill up at the petrol station? You think there fuel tanks are full, so where are they putting the fuel? If everyone's tanks are full, Why did the petrol stations put a £35 limit to stop the panic buyers? How are they putting more than £35 in the tank if they are filled up every week? Your logic is flawed.

  34.  @mikesmith-wk7vy  It was built as a multi purpose fighter. I theory a module change from bomber to a high speed air to air fighter. After years of redesigns/upgrades some of the countries involved got a useable planes at 4 times the original cost but still only single use, instead of a multi purpose fighter. Im not sure if Germany has their planes working yet?

In the end the project failed to be completed as a joint venture after costing 4 times the original cost. Then the individual countries had to complete their own design and finish the projects. Which cost even more to complete. It never came close to delivering a cost effective multi use fighter. Where spare parts could easily and cheaply sourced and swapped out because every country finished the planes differently. The last time i looked Germany still had none functioning (not battle ready) planes.

  40. This is another political attack. The Netherlands has a pop at AZ because their government got caught out. AZ asked the Netherland for 8 Million in funding to increase vaccine manufacturing by 5 times the volume. (back in April 2020) The Netherlands refused and the UK government stepped in with 22 Million to increase vaccine capacity in the Halix plant based in the Netherlands. Now the Netherlands has egg on its face, because they didn't help with funding and they are refusing to export vaccines to the UK, when the UK funded the production in the Netherlands.

The EU demand more AZ vaccines from the UK and ban exports of the AZ vaccines. At the same time saying they are dangerous. We all know this isn't the first time the EU has employed dirty tricks to get what they want. The other Covid vaccines have a similar volume of side effects but there is no mention about those. There are side effects from taking Paracetamol that are just as serious. There are more serious side effects from blood pressure tablets for goodness sakes.

They say the AZ vaccine causes blood clots, at the same time demanding more AZ vaccines from the UK's AZ plant and threatening to block AZ vaccines leaving the EU that are due in to be delivered to the UK and other countries that ordered vaccines 3 months before the EU Commission did. !!!! They have already blocked 250,000 vaccines being delivered to Australia. This is the EU Commission's failed Dictatorship at work. The whole world is watching the EU Commissions Fake narrative. They talk about supplying vaccines around the world and yet they dont have enough for the EU's 450 Million population. The UK's Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine in being produced and sold at cost price of £1 each jab and all the other vaccines cost £6-£9 each jab. The UK's Oxford AstraZeneca vaccines has been licensed for production in countries around the world so it can speed up production around the globe and its being produced and sold at cost price. This is why the EU tries to slate the UK's Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. Because it proves the UK is a world leader outside the restrictions of the EU's failed system. The EU couldn't even order vaccines in a timely manner.

  48. Watching from the sidelines in the UK. It was clear Trump increased wages and jobs in the USA and lowered taxes. That meant everyone gained from the normal hard working people in the USA all the way to the company owners/bosses/CEO's. When the American economy thrives everyone win in the USA. It doesn't matter if people dont like Trump but anyone who questions the amazing achievements Trump made, while constantly being attacked, needs their heads looking at.   50. This was the EU's attempt to attack & punish the UK. I also think the EU was hoping other countries would cancel their orders for AZ vaccines and the EU would swoop in and grab them. The EU says the AZ vaccine doesn't work on the elderly, while at the same time demanding AZ vaccines from the UK. Now the same EU leaders are only giving the AZ vaccine to their elderly. Proving you cant trust a word that comes from the EU's leadership. The truth is there as many reports of blood clots from the other covid vaccines. The EU never mentions that. When you consider this possible risk of 1 person per million that might have a blood clot that "might" be related to a covid vaccine. Compare that to the death rate of Covid. Many countries in Europe have a Covid death rate close to 100,000 people. The risk from a Covid vaccine is miniscule compared to Covid death risks.
