  3. The vaccine doesn't stop you catching the virus. The virus is here to stay, in the same way we see the common cold and the flu come back every year. We just have to learn to live with it. If they cant find a cure for the common cold, they wont find a cure for this virus either. World leaders need to get a grip and just be honest. The new variant spreads more easily but its far less dangerous. The flu kills millions of people every year and we dont have constant lockdowns for the flu.

Build Back Better is just a poor attempt at re-naming/re-branding what was happening under Trump. It looks like Biden is trying to reap the rewards of the changes Trump brought in to protect normal hard working Americans jobs. I'm not from the USA but all the Anti Trump Media hype isn't fooling anyone. I might not be a Trump fan and it's not my place to be a fan of either side because it's not my country. It's clear to see the Lower Tax and an average Wage Rise of 8,000 Dollars cant be ignored, even if your someone who dislikes Trump, you have to admire everything he achieved.

  12. This simply isn't true. Everyone has boxes of tests at home. They literally have stands dotted around in every town and city giving boxes of tests away to anyone who wants them. 7 tests in each box. There have been 4 blokes handing out boxes of test kits to people going to the supermarket every single day for free for the past few months in my town. Even yesterday (Xmas eve) so this is utter nonsense.

Every time I go to any of my local supermarkets, there is always someone standing outside handing out free boxes of test kits. If I brought a box home every time I was offered one, they would fill half my living room.

  22. Over 50% of the UK's adult population had received a vaccine 2 weeks ago. Everyone over 50 has been offered a vaccine in the UK. Now people in their 40's are receiving vaccines. I'm in my 40's and I have had my first AZ vaccine.

  35.  @buildmotosykletist1987  I think the UK government have already ordered about 20 of them but I'm not sure they are going to be used inside the UK? I'm sure I read somewhere that they are to be deployed by the UK government but used in key areas of defense and to defend UK sovereign states like Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands etc. So the UK is not reliant on outside areas for power. I think they are only really built to support a few thousand people. (10-50K)

  36.  @buildmotosykletist1987  As far as I'm aware the only reason Rolls Royce has the designs/technology from the American government is to building them for the UK government to deploy they around the world to protect strategic UK assets. Look at the way Jersey and Guernsey had their power supply threatened by France recently. Guernsey already has its own back up oil fueled generators for emergency use but they are not cost efficient to run long term. The whole point of building these small reactors is to make them portable. So they can be used in case of an emergency. To keep key points of a city running if there is a state of emergency or the power supplies are threatened. The manufacturing is being funded by the UK tax payers.

Brussels actually stopped individual EU countries placing orders with AstraZeneca which delayed the production in Europe by 3 months. Now Brussels wants to jump the queue to cover up their failure to act fast. SHAME on Brussels, they will cost many lives lost. No one in Brussels is accountable for this tragic/horrific mistake. No one in Brussels will be punished. The EU/Brussels unelected leaders are a Dictatorship. The EU/Brussels are not a democracy. They work for themselves and not for the normal hard working people living in the EU.

It's the same morons that wait until the last hour on Xmas Eve to do their big Xmas shop every year and then they complain the shops have run out of gravy or stuffing for the turkey. LOL

  42. This is a political act by the EU, not a medical one. Everyone knows this is political because they failed to order AZ vaccines. Now the have to pause the vaccine roll out across the EU because they dont have enough vaccines to give out. Other vaccines have a similar rate of possible side effects to the AZ vaccine and the EU doesn't mention them. The EU demands AZ vaccines from the UK while stating they dont work on the over 65's. Then the raid the AZ factories and offices. Then the EU bans exports of the AZ vaccine. They even triggered Article 16 of the GFA for a few hours until they were forced to back down, in an attempt to stop AZ vaccines leaving the EU and entering the UK across the Irish border. Now they say the AZ vaccine causes blood clots?!!! Are the EU trying to get other countries to cancel the AZ orders so the EU can buy more of them?

Those vaccine companies exported to countries outside the EU to for fill their contractual agreements. The EU owns ZERO vaccines to export. The EU has treated AstraZeneca so badly that Novavax still hasn't signed a vaccine supply contract with the EU, over a month after the UK signed a vaccine supply contract with Novavax for 60 Million vaccines. That's because Novavax fears the EU could attack them in the same way. The EU was so busy dreaming up new ways to attack the UK, they didn't have any interest in funding vaccine research. That's why the French vaccine company Valneva moved their research and started building their manufacturing plant in the UK in September 2020.

Thankfully Australia has not seen anything like that and i hope it never does. I watched the constant flow of ambulances day and night drive past my house. To the point they stopped putting their siren's on to reduce impact on the public. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I fully understand why people dislike the idea of vaccines. I'm not keen myself. i caught Covid last year and it was scary. Months afterwards i still felt shortness of breath. I'm not old enough to be offered a covid vaccine yet. I dont know what i will do when i am offered one?
