  10.  @NotShowingOff  I was working on commission and the commision rate went way down. Every job I have had since 2000 has seen a decline in pay rate. In the 70s I was getting 17% on AAA insured Muni bonds so I have seen much higher interest rates then now although I agree current inflation is much more like 20% than 8%. Its all part of the con described by Richard Wolff to cover up end stage capitalism. My Social Security trumpeted a great COLA last year while simultaneously taking it all back with mandatory Medicare charges. No doubt next year will be the same. All politicians are schills for capitalism. It would be nice if Trumpers used some higher brain function and recognized this. They are schills for schills.

No one ever said this was a country of educated geniuses. The lower classes are being destroyed and to their credit they are not taking it lying down. All of the human mental deficiencies are coming out in a desperate attempt to stay alive. It will no doubt get worse. Society is rapidly declining in a Republican top dog social Darwinist philosophy.

  42. The problem being the developing world is ramping up fossil fuel use as fast as they can. If demand actually fell the price might go down and make fossil fuel use even more attractive. Fossil fuel is used because it is cheap. No other reason.

  44. The revolution was largely fought with state militias. The national force, the Continentals was small and poorly equiped. The states saw themselves as the primary defensive force in the country. The second amendment was about them securing the continuation of the state armies and navys. It has been obsolete for over 100 years.

  45. Well as far as I know, it sounds like NY can re write their law with different language which will pass review. However when I heard of this I have decided this must be one of the worst SCs in history along with the one legalizing slavery and putting women in chattle states. Roberts supposedly cares about their place in history but not on this one. These people are digging their own graves and working on their own irrelevance. If Roberts knows anything he must know this. The worst part is they reiterated a previous bad decision re writing the second amendment to give individual gun rights.
