@Sarang555 Hang in there! You'll find something great!! Finding a job is a job itself. You have to be very focused and strategic when conducting a job search. Don't waste time on the third party job apps. Instead, always apply directly with the hiring entity. Also, if public service is something you'd be interested in, sit for as many civil service exams as you can. This includes all city, state, county and federal openings. Check with your local Chamber of Commerce and see if they have any job fairs coming up. The unemployment office is also a good place to find openings. They may be able to offer you career counseling as well. The unemployment office typically has a computer lab with many many helpful resources for job seekers. I recently retired from a career in HR due to some catastrophic health issues. I really (really!!) miss counseling applicants. 🙂

@shadowmancer99 Her business obviously failed but she doesn't appear to have much of an entrepreneurial spirit. Real entrepreneurs aren't crying on tik tok about nothing. That said, running your own business is a major labor of love. It's really relentless and tiring. Maybe she just wants the stability of a 9 to 5 and that's understandable.

Wanting to be a mother and wife is great. Many many women go back to school for the Masters but become wives and mothers in the end. Nothing wrong with getting the education first. Life can go sideways and you can't rely on these trifling men. 👀

The American government has been mulling over the universal basic income program. I'm thinking that these unhireable folks are likely going to have to be on that program if they can't find work.
1
@mister-zen8491 It's American fiat so nothing. Lol. 😂 That said, UBI pilot programs are ALLEGEDLY (because the media lies so much) showing successful outcomes where they're being tested. I personally don't have an issue with them as long as it's for a decent amount and doesn't have a bunch of draconian eligibility restrictions to bar those who need it the most. I don't know. Perhaps giving the money via grants and vouchers would be a better alternative than just giving everyone cash. I'd like to see tax dollars used to help with our massive housing crisis.
1
@TheCoryGroshek I think she's just really naive and comes across as one of those hippie types. It's in her best interest to just go be an influencer. She's likely unhireable and that's ok. Not everyone is meant to work for others.

@WeeWeeIII Thank you for all of that information and knowledge. You know your stuff! 😂😂😂

@FerchoR-V If being a landscaper is really your heart's desire, go for it! Just make sure you have a plan. Do you want your own business or do you want to work for an already established company? Are you going to be able to get clients in your area? What's your "hook?" By hook, I mean what would set you apart from your competition? Good luck! You got this! 👍

@Christina-pv5yq You can look up job requirements by searching current openings. Do the research. My local community college offers an aircraft mechanic program and has the entire syllabus posted online. You might want to check with your local community college to see if they too have an aircraft mechanic program. Make sure to research how much these jobs are currently paying and the experience and education they're requiring.

I try to tell folks this and get called a boomer who hates young folks. These young people are downright hateful. It's no wonder they can't get hired. I wouldn't want them working for me.
1
@billwhitis9997 I'm not a boomer. I'm just over the young people who want everything handed to them and want to cry the blues instead of formulating a plan. Contrary to Internet narratives, there are many many many young folks getting jobs and starting careers and graduating college with no debt. These are still a thing regardless of the social media complainers and paid shills.

@CircleNews2006 Absolutely! Give Him the glory! 👍

@ryguy2226 HR encompasses many many parts of not just hiring but all things employment. I personally don't currently do hiring but have been a part of the process. I am really "just" a career counselor. I actually help applicants which is not what many in HR like to do. I just like helping applicants from a top my high horse. 🤣 While I enjoy helping applicants, I find the current crop of young job seekers to be pretty combative, entitled and profane. One time I was trying to counsel an applicant who was struggling with her typing speed. I was trying to outline a plan to improve her speed but she was super combative and wanted NOTHING to do with developing a plan to improve her performance. I shrugged and kept it moving. Some of these people really sabotage their own growth.
1
@jstinlee Lol. Totally ineffective and overemotional. Anyone who's ever worked in HR will laugh and tell you that such an approach is completely fruitless. Lol.

@meshiab5983 I don't know your sister's situation, but typically, when a company "ghosts" the process it's because the company didn't get their desired outcome. In some instances, this is actually ILLEGAL. That said, the company is still hiring, just up to antics and shenanigans. Years ago I was working in the Executive Director's office of a small government agency. A friend of mine called me and asked why we had taken down the posting of a HIGHLY sought after executive position at a huge, major law enforcement agency. I was like "what? As far as I know it should STILL be posted...." I went on the website and sure enough, it was gone. I did some digging and found out that it was pulled because the applicant they wanted to hire couldn't get on the eligibility list because he had no degree. Antics. They were still reviewing applications and the position was still open, it was just taken off of the site due to shenanigans.

@Digger-Nick 🙄 Yes, those are called Continuous Postings and they're NOT an indication of whether or not there's active hiring. Continuous postings are for positions/titles that the company or agency is always taking applications for. It's of course different for every firm but generally, applications for continuous postings are kept on file until the next round of hiring.
1
@Digger-Nick I've never heard of a continuous posting hiring "ten years from now." That's not a thing. The continuous posting is actually for titles that are hiring more frequently than most other titles. It's just that they'll take apps even if that title isn't currently open. This narrative that LEGIT companies are posting fake vacancies is silly. The scammers are the ones posting fake postings. Legit HR offices don't typically have time for fake postings. That said, there is illegal hiring that takes place but that's a whole 'nother thing altogether. Of all the people claiming legit companies are faking job openings, not one person has offered up a reason as to why a firm would do such a thing. Fake job postings and continuous postings are two completely different things. If you're sick and tired of these supposed fake postings, I again advise you to work for yourself. Disengage from all of this allegedly fakery by being your own boss.

@Sunshinestarryrose Lol. With all do respect, I don't believe you.

@Hmoney0 Thanks for all that information! Your knowledge base is very helpful to those needing assistance.

@Digger-Nick Lol. Do y'all seriously not understand that two things can be true at once? Yes, there are fake job ads. These are typically posted on those third party job apps but the scammers have found many avenues to post their nonsense. The REAL job postings (yes, they too exist and are a thing) are on the organization's website. I always recommend applying via the hiring entity's website. Another excellent source for LEGIT job postings are professional association websites. These include but aren't limited to: American Society of Administrative Professionals National Black MBA Association The Society for Human Resources Management American Management Association The National Association of Puerto Rican Hispanic Social Workers American Staffing Association National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources The National Association of Asian-American Professionals African-American Federal Executive Association The Paralegal Association (NALA) National Forum for Black Public Administrators ALL (every single one) of these orgs have job boards. It's not hidden info. It's right there for all who are interested.

@fullclipaudio You will succeed! I'm congratulating you in advance! 😄 When you get hired make sure you go on your organization's HR/hiring site to see what promotional opportunities are available. Now, congrats on your promotion!! 😃 You got this!
1
@wegrata Well then hire them and give them their desired salaries and hours. Problem solved! Good luck and God bless! Lol! 😂
1
@Test-j5g Lol. There are many folks buying homes and land and there's even an awesome homesteading trend right now. Lucifer is a LIAR and so are his people!! He needs to worry about that bottomless pit. It's coming for him!!!
1
@msdiamondpiggy Luck? No. I actually had to retire due to a catastrophic health issue but I'm hoping to launch a nonprofit that assists low income job seekers. I miss counseling applicants.

Imagine being so mentally unwell that you're triggered by people who don't share your political beliefs. Lol. If you work with the public, you're going to come across people from all walks of life and beliefs. If your mental health is so unstable that this upsets you, you really shouldn't be working with the public. If it's causing you mental unwellness and breakdowns, you should probably seek psychiatric help. Some of these women sound completely unhinged and should probably just go on Disability.

@billwhitis9997 Lol. Attack of the boomerbots! Meep.....morp....ok boomer.....meep.....morp. 🤣🤣

Many HR offices are actually run by Karens who are very set in their ways. The average HR office is super conservative and typically hire the same type of employee over and over.

Congratulations in ADVANCE on reaching 500,000 followers. I'm speaking it over you now! Wonderful channel! 😊

What we're seeing are the unhireable having their say. Social media has created a space for them to vent so that's what they're doing. But yes, their entitlement mindset is their downfall. I hope they're able to somehow support themselves but I personally wouldn't hire any of them.
1
@istvanpraha Tons of organizations are hiring and many awesome, hireable young folks are getting hired.
1
@dawnsacks5161 Many of them don't want to work in government and that's a shame in a way. Civil service can be very rewarding. Not only do you get to serve your fellow citizens, you get full benefits, collective bargaining, tons of promotional opportunities and in many many instances, the choice of FREE college tuition. The smart ones know though and typically already have civil service positions picked out before they even graduate. I worked in public sector HR for years and loved it. I'm always trying to get these young folks to think of something other than big corporations and broke start-ups.
1
@TellEmBoi Because people are stupid enough to keep buying these degrees. If stupid people are going to buy them, these schools are going to keep selling them.
1
In America college is used to create debt slaves, teach Luciferian ideologies and put paywalls around well paying jobs. And let us not forget that much of what is taught in these schools isn't even factual. They're constantly "updating" textbooks with "new data" that is totally different from what they were previously teaching. It's all nonsense.
