  1. As an amputee myself, I'm hurting so much for all the wounded Ukrainians! Hopefully they can recover from all this trauma and pain, I know it took me at least a decade that I didn't expect to wake up with all my limbs and I still dream I've them all; I rarely dream of my body's real condition tbh. (& I don't want to talk about how I lost my leg).

  2. I'm blown away by your guest's enthusiasm! My dad fled as a minor from Hungary to Austria in 1956 and survived 2 Russian invasions ... that's why my whole family are also fully focused on supporting Ukraine, including myself of course. Slava Ukraine as well as all international fighters, medics, people involved in transporting all supplies including weapons.

If you get 1500+ comments per video, you can eighter try to reply into each longer thread OR do research for your next video - even if you've the whole day for yourself - I'm at home in disability and I barely manage to reply to all the emails, YouTube and social media replies I'm getting daily. However I don't make a video nearly every single day as Jake does ... I'm watching him for psychological comfort and I'm extremely grateful he's helping Ukraine and us with his excellent content.

  7. TYSVM Jake for always treating our Ukrainian defenders/people with the utmost respect! Seeing amputees always hits me the hardest, bc I'm an amputee myself and know they'll never feel "complete" again, no matter how advanced their prosthetics are and it doesn't get any better with ageing. Just imagine, how challenging a nightly bathroom break is without your leg - while everybody else can simply go there while half asleep, barely turning any lights on, with the goal of falling asleep again afterwards asap, that's entirely impossible for us bc we've to be super-careful and fully awake or we fall/injure ourselves and that's just one example of many - I can't even fathom the hatred I'd feel, if this'd not have been an accident but the result of a russian attack - when I was younger I had a much more positive outlook on this topic tbh. Thank you also for your support for and your interview with Andrew/Mercado Media today, although I had a few internet troubles on my end, I truly enjoyed it ... Slava Ukraine, Heroyam Slava!

AWESOME your audience crushed the fundraiser for prosthetic legs!👍👍👍 PLEASE don't forget about him afterwards, bc depression might/will catch up with him later on - I'm saying this bc I lost 1 leg after an aaccident - it's not only the legs, the psyche suffers a lot. You go to sleep for decades and you've 2 healthy legs in your dreams, then you wake up disappointed in reality bc you can't even reach your bathroom without crutches or wearing prosthetics, thinking to yourself "omgosh I'm here again, fml". I don't know, how to describe this to you in better words but it's totally soul crushing.

  13. Tbh, the bridge is EXACTLY how it SHOULD BE atm! "Somehow repairable" and if you're fleeing in panic, the term "unusable" also becomes pretty much VERY relative - you'd want Russians still be able to flee somehow, but give them THE traumatic experiences of their lifetime(s?) and don't leave enough time for Russians to fully destroy it behind themselves if possible, make it look totally pointless to them to waste time there bc they're followed and heavily shelled - you wouldn't want your ęnęmy feeling forced to fight til death without a way out anyways and imo Ukraine does a lot right atm; as much as I don't want to get deluded by the fog of war and it's massive propaganda, I can't help but admire them sooo much every single day!

  16. 1) Personally I think, there's an information war going on between main stream media and the internet ... of course this also includes the YouTube app itself, bc their creators are much better than CNN, FOX &co, but the owners of those tv networks are wealthy and very influential; they're deadly afraid that tv dies out as a source of information for younger generations. 2) Then there's also YouTube's greed playing a HUGE role here - I've seen them demonetizing countless creators in the past - and after YouTube creators get demonetized, YouTube's putting multiple ads randomly all over their content and scams them out of their well deserved money. 3) Last but not least, it's also very political - YouTube's one of the last apps/sources of information allowed inside Putin's Russia and getting cancelled in Russia would be a terrible loss for the interested Russian population. I'm so horribly sorry, that so many fantastic YouTube creators are negatively affected and caught up in the middle of this whole mess! :(

I just thought about the elderly babushka a few minutes ago, giving the Russian soldier sunflower seeds so that he'd become prefect fertilizer asap and how this kinda changed the meaning of sunflowers in Ukraine. Bc Operator Starsky told in one of his livestreams, that sunflowers were associated with a huge tragedy connected to lots of Ukrainians getting killed in a certain sunflower field by pro-Russians - I believe during the 8 years of civil war but I'm not sure, I'll re-watch it, bc I remember spontaneously commenting that I fully regret using that emoji repeatedly - but from that day on, sunflowers mainly mean tragedy for Russian/pro-Russian occupiers only, but also became a sign of hope for Ukraine. Anyways, I didn't know that this had happened in Kherson, so thank you so very much for your very insightful, moving and helpful comment; I highly appreciate you sharing this with us!

Like e.g. my native language is German but unfortunately I don't speak Ukrainian to give English lessons to them.

Watching a livestream of Operator Starsky has helped me out of deep depression cause of a chronic pain attack ~2 months ago, bc he's so calming and captivating at the same time ... and I also watch Jake for psychological comfort, the two are an absolute dream-team I could watch for countless hours! & That's why I got sooo excited when I saw him in the video title!

Although I'm not into economics, I come to you for psychological comfort, bc you're so optimistic and I'm indefinitely grateful, Operator Starsky sent me here and I'm thankful, that I gave you a shot. I'm not in a good spot in life (terminally ill) and I live very close to Ukraine in Europe ... after 4+ months of wąŕ I already (nearly) feel like "living in trenches" myself and I'm in a weird state of shock ever since this started on the 24th of February; this wąŕ is truly taking a huge toll on me mentally... But I binged your earlier videos whenever I felt down and it helped me tremendously ... you've really inspired me to reach out to English/German speaking Russians and it's the most important most rewarding thing to do atm! For the first time in decades I feel, I'm exactly where I should be atm, having time 24/7 to text with Russians - I'm NOT trying to convince them of anything (bc that's entirely pointless), I'm only asking them certain questions which is quite powerful in a country like Russia that's giving their citizens ALL the answers - and if I can only make 1 Russian think independently again, it's all worth it for me, bc I'm doing my very best. I'm so grateful, you're the way you are, you've NO idea, how much you're helping people! PS. I wish YouTube censørship wouldn't exist, it's making my conversations with Russians a lot harder, bc their replies often get dęlęted and I've to type them again for better context in our on-going conversations ... they're often so pąrąnoid that they'd think, I've been reporting them and got them dęlęted (how, with my ~1000 non-existing fake accounts?); it's really a mess and the biggest hindrance atm.

Admittedly I didn't know much about Ukrainians and their country before this Russian invasion in the 24th of February 2022, but we all fell in love with them. & When my parents did an ancestry DNA test, I was a bit disappointed to learn I've no Ukrainian relatives. Doesn't matter though, we people from former iron curtain countries all share similar fates, mostly bad experiences with Russian rulers, so we are all brothers and sisters in a way.

  28. Thank you so very much for this video, Jake! I'm always coming to you for comfort and good news, which always works for me when I'm a bit depressed ... I'm in a weird state of shock since this war had started and somehow I don't really get over it, that this can still happen here in Europe in 2022! I've already been very sceptic for this year and it just kept and keeps getting worse and worse - generally I'm very negatively thinking as some sort of "selfdefence mechanism" to avoid getting disappointed too much, but sometimes certain people like Putin in this case still manage to trump even my own worst imaginations - although I've known about Russian troops amassing at the Belarusian border for weeks before the 24th of February and many commenters had correctly predicted this outcome, I still can't really deal with all the tragedies connected to this whole disaster. Btw, there're rumours Putin + government have suddenly left in 7 huge planes today - not sure, if it's true, however I've also heard the lower ranking Russian officials were government-ordered to leave Moscow and St Petersburg and go to their datchas for at least 1 month - so eighter Russia's planning something and/or they're trolling us hard atm. (?) Hopefully Putin leaves this planet for good soon!

As far as I'm aware, Jake makes a livestream once a month. & Inbetween he was on Operator Starsky's livestream, who doesn't activate superchats at all and both answered as many questions as they could. So PLEASE don't lump "them" all together, whoever "they" are in your eyes!^^

  35.  @onerva0001  I truly hope, she didn't get into troubles for that and survived without any problems! However I'm elderly as well and understand her mindset at least a very little bit, at that age you just don't gaf about an occupier and his army folks anymore ... bc compared to all the young people around her, she likely thought to herself: "I've had a good life and I'm the only person able to do this atm, he can only shoot me and that spares me a slow death of old age"; especially if her kids didn't live there at that point or she has none. Hope that didn't happen later on and I'm already very afraid, how many war crimes the Ukrainian soldiers might find later on, bc tragically there've been nightmarish discoveries in all liberated regions so far.

You might also like "Zack the Russian", he had fled Russia after escaping police during the anti-war protests on 24th of February and is helping his Russian refugee friends arriving in Georgia right now ... and he's totally exhausted atm. However Zack makes excellent livestreams - that's where I saw that tampon/pad video first ~2 -3 days ago, as a native Russian speaker he translated it and I'm super-happy that Jake brought this topic to a much larger audience now bc Zack's channel is still so very small - admittedly that clip truly hit me hard as well, I thought I had "heard and seen it all" from this war, but the recklessness of the Russian officials just never stops to overpower me - and I bet, next we'll hear is "Russia's running out of female hygiene products" after running out of torniquettes and emergency kits. The stories Zack is telling, about how fleeing people are taken advantage of everywhere they go are really worth listening to; they're having to pay extremely high prices for every "service" they're using bc of their own and/or fellow Russians initial support of this z-war.

Although I truly feel extremely bad for all the African and middle Eastern countries waiting for all their very urgently needed grain shippings (and this hugely is an understatement, due to my lack of words in my not native English language), I'm also very very much relieved for Ukraine! I've never trusted Russia's real intentions in this agreement - starting with this strange "good will sign", Putin claimed to show when "leaving Snake Island for good", (despite getting heavily defeated there by Ukraine), very tragically this agreement always felt like a huge trap for Ukraine to me - imo, all Russia ever wanted, was having all the mines removed from Ukrainian ports and waters in the Black Sea and this NEVER felt safe/like a great idea in midst of this war to me at all! I'm also feeling so extremely bad for Turkey, their economy would've needed a bit of additional income urgently, too! However, I didn't expect Russia to mess up this agreement that quickly ... they've something planned and don't want to wait any longer, otherwise they would've chosen a more face saving way to get out of this grain deal with Ukraine ... slowly but surely Ukraine will get their grain out though! & I wonder, how all the other BRICS member countries will react to this, their whole image is built on "solving the world's most urgent problems", (like e.g. famines, climate change, energy crises, etc) and their member South Africa is likely also waiting for their grain shippings ... so what will happen now? Can't complain, this war and economic conflict/international crisis has me on the edge of my seat every single day since the 24th of February!^^

This implies, that Russia's also far far away from the US (meaning like ~4,000 miles away according to your prior statement); not that it really matters. As with the whole world being so closely economically connected, this war affects everybody anyways ... no matter how far away this war is, or if a country's actively involved in it or not. Edit: & No worries I'm not here to bother you and argue with you about distances for the rest of this thread now ... it's also possible I totally misunderstood you. However, Russia wouldn't have succeeded in WW2 without America's lend lease act, that's often been overlooked and Russia's intentionally hiding that fact; but this time they've lend lease against them. Russia's also strikingly withholding the Molotov-Ribbentrop-pact, they had made with A.H.-Germany to attack Poland from both sides as allies bc it's entirely contradicting their usual narrative of "Russia's always been heroically fighting against nąžįs".
