When 86 year old British war veteran Frank Fishwick died after being punched in the face by a 19 year old Syrian refugee when the old man requested him to stop smoking weed in the stairwell of his Preston flats the judge commented in mitigation that the old man had called the Syrian racist names which provoked the punch and reduced his sentence to just four years in a young offender’s institution. British children used to be taught that sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. That time honoured principle no longer applies in multicultural Britain.

  6. It’s refreshing to note in the comments that posters are referring to the deceased as ‘he’ (the correct pronoun). All the TV news reports mistakenly refer to the deceased as ‘she’ (the incorrect pronoun).
