  6.  @kidaz  A medical degree should take no longer than 5 years. NHS consultants are paid an average basic salary of approx. £150k a year. Less than 10 of the 44 countries in Europe pay their doctors £100k or more. British taxpayers are paying world class salaries for a third rate service.
