  33.  @salmanashfaque7182  I know the majority of doctors currently working in the NHS would never have got into medical school 35 years ago before entry requirements were lowered to accept students of lower intelligence like Cola Scan.

  34.  @salmanashfaque7182  Everyone is doing it because standards have been lowered and it has been made so easy. Hard work wasn’t sufficient decades ago - you had to be exceptionally intelligent to do medicine.

  35.  @salmanashfaque7182  if the previous government had not made soft subjects at A-level permissible for entry to medical school there would have been far fewer applications; if the previous government had not dumbed down A-levels to enable over 50% of 18 year olds to pass them (an increase of 40%) there would have been far fewer applications; if the previous government had not inflated the number of grade As awarded from 10% to 26% (as of 2019) there would have been far fewer applications. In these circumstances the fact that 90 out of every 100 applications are refused proves nothing.
