My heart is with the people of Hong Kong, they are literally farmers (well kinda sorta) fighting a king in his castle. I do so wish the USA or the UN would put representatives on the ground and bring a copy of the treaty with them. They need our help.

Well... you have to agree with Biden’s point. ANTIFA stands for Anti-Fascists and if you understand the meaning of the word Fascist every man, woman and child in America should stand up and wear that label proudly. Anyone who doesn’t is either a fascist or a complete idiot. Granted, the name, the people who have formed the group and THAT GROUPS ACTIONS should be decried, but the term itself... Biden is spot on.

@Dixon Yerface — You’re thinking myopically. Do you remember two months ago when Trump replaced about 24 different military leaders in the Pentagon and other positions? Those 24 military officers that were replaced had one thing in common, they all objected in writing to trumps request to use American troops on American soil against American citizens during the BLM riots crisis and it’s crux. So now we have military officers in charge who support Trump unconditionally. This was all planned.

@bobdol69 — That’s not what I said, I said I’m resistance and firing bullets would not work because the Republicans, which were a lot of Second Amendment supporters, would shoot back. Not that they are shooting back. And yes there has been only one report of a gunshot or a person shot and they did say that it was not a capital policeman that was shot. And I was referring to the fact that I have listen to my Republican friends and family all talk about this event for weeks, they said “We are going to go to Washington to save the nation! We are going to exercise our second amendment rights to protect America and its Constitution!!“ so yes, these protesters who are literally trying to overthrow America, consider themselves to be like a Patriots and Second Amendment supporters which means they are all going to be armed. So yes this is going to be a very interesting few days. edit. Corrected the speech to text error where I said constitution and it Siri heard prostitution. Yikes!

@Xander-dx6mw -- True, but keep in mind too that most cities real 'manager/mayor' is the "City Manager." They have the job of running the day to day operations, to hire and fire department heads, etc., and often make more than the mayor because of the position demands and requirements. How much of what you blame Pete for was the responsibility of the City Manager? Also keep in mind that faux pas of when Pete fired the black police chief. The lawsuit was won on the grounds that Pete didn't have the authority to fire him, which he didn't, that was the city managers responsibility or job. The police chief was fired for insubordination and won his lawsuit for wrongful dismissal because it wasn't the Mayor's job to fire him.

@XShadowAngel -- No, people don't use the word "Snowflake" for Trumpets because you used it as a term for liberals. It's because the REASON you used it for us applies to you as well. LOL! There's an old adage that the things we dislike in others are often most true in ourselves. And frankly that word applies to a lot of people on both sides of the political spectrum.
