Crimea was made part of Ukraine by Khrushchev & it remained part of it when the USSR collapsed & included in the Budapest agreement that Russia signed to protect Ukraine's integrity in return for it giving up its nuclear weapons. The problem for the Conservatives started long before Cameroon & Osborne but they chose austerity & the referendum as the solutions for the country & the party, and both failed because we weren't all in it together & the party was fatally divided. The referendum should've have be clearly labelled as advisory & that the majority should have been 66% & not a simple 50%+. The moderate were driven out of the party after May's hubris that by enforcing a hard Brexit it would "unit the troops". The fact that Brexit meant different things to different people was the enormous flaw. It was like say I want a dog without saying which breed thus we got a mongrel that was the runt of the litter. The Conservatives need at least 10 years in the wilderness because at present they seem to want to be a far-right party or a far-far-right one & farage is not the answer.

  38. Even a blind man can see that Drumpf has negotiated anything he has capitulated to Putin whose stated aim is to end Ukraine as an independent country & absorb it into Russia. A ceasefire will just allow Russia to rearm, regroup & invade Ukraine again to take it over completely. It is not accidents that are damaging the Baltic cables & pipelines. Putin has said he wants the 3 Baltic states back under his control.

If we can't imprison them for their waste and incompetence, we should at least be able to stop them from being sent to the House of Lords and take their pension away. Why does Iain Dunkin Donuts deserve a knighthood when he has never accepted that he has got anything wrong in his life. The UC debacle is everyone else's fault not his.
