There was never any pledge/formal agreement not to expand NATO, discussion was about former East Germany after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

  15. The BBC has been getting worse for 25+ years that in the name of "balance" it both sides the majority of reporting. They did this with climate change & promoting Farage & Brexit. If the BBC had been upholding high standards would the likes of Fogarty, Sopel, Matliss & JOB left. I'm not just a BBC basher as other media is doing a bad job. The quality of journalism is falling. Today on their website about Ukraine; "rare earth minerals like lithium and titanium", neither are rare earth metals.

Homes rented out bu the Duchies of Lancaster & Cornwall have about 10% that do not meet the minimum energy standards that other private landlords have to plus some are in disrepair and/or have mould problems. Their excuse is there is an ongoing upgrade programme. There should not be all the secrecy around royal assets & income.
