  1. Again, sorry Prof, Putin will not negotiate & give up the Don Bas or especially Crimea therefore what is to negotiate! Zelensky has already stated many times that Ukraine must get back its territory that is under Russian control. Putin loses power if he loses the war whether militarily or a forced withdrawal. Putin will use the same tactics as in Syria & destroy as much as Ukraine as possible. The West must aid victory over Putin, if you don't agree then your information & analysis is incorrect. The whole reason for the war is Putin doesn't want a free, democratic Ukraine that will join the EU.

  3.  @piccalillipit9211  Your comment is both superficial & disingenuous. In terms of troops in Europe maybe but D-day couldn't have been a success without the Americans. USA was the "Arsenal of Democracy" without the war materiel supplied via "Lease Lend" UK would have been defeated & the USSR would have taken years longer to beat the Nazis not having tanks, aircraft & most importantly trucks to transport all the supplies to the front(s).

  10. Your comment about the USAAF in Europe is factually incorrect, plus you forget Operations Torch & Husky also the Italian campaign. You also fail to acknowledge that Stalin contributed greatly to deaths of Soviet citizens but forcing them to stay in Stalingrad & Leningrad where they died of starvation as well as at the hands of the enemy; all the "collaborators & defeatist" that were either shot or sent to the gulags where many died. If you want to make comments about WW2 you really need to greatly improve your knowledge.
