How can a judge rule on himself? The defence attorney should be immediately shielded from contempt of court and the judicial oversight committee or appeals court needs to rule on that Judge. Seriously, America.

Other option: If they are considered children, then the state must pay for their care in frozen orphanages. Further, since they would be in the care of the state due to the above, they need to pay for adoption benefits and transfer to adoptive parents, as the state would do if they were actual children. Also, if the embryos are left at the doors of the supreme Court, if the justices saw them and ignored or even worse, stepped on them, are they guilty of endangering a child or murder?

And 5 year service bars for every 5 year good conduct service (no suspensions or disbarrments in that time frame) 😁

Just watched that last year. Excellent. Encouraged me some. I'm autistic too, but not to that level (mine formerly called aspergers).

So can sue mailman for hitting your car, but cannot sue if he sucker-punches you?

So if fortune telling (telling the future) was banned unless you could predict 6 out of 10 events accurately, how did the books of Ezekiel and revelation not get banned? Bloody hypocrites

Would whistleblowing be allowed even if NDA signed? The youtuber could be whistleblower and discussing alleged fraud in good faith.

So when will other news sites be indicted for parroting us govt talking points in exchange for access to politicians, seat in press gallery, seat in af1, and even money and other revolving door schemes ?

Think an American show called good wife was a defence lawyer show.

Not competion per se, but why is private equity buying businesses to put them out of business (squeezing out profits before they do) legal as their goal in some cases is to drive them under?

@bane2201 If you want to change the state's political demographics, get the embryos and hold them there for 18 years, then presto, register to vote. Enough people do this, there'll be more embryos than physical people and then they can referendum new state laws and constitution

So juries should be comprised of two houses. The first jury should be comprised of 435 people of which around half are in my favour; they must impeach me to send my case to the second jury. The second jury, which shall be comprised of at least half who are in my favour must then convict me. Can you imagine how this new system would work with those accused of all sorts of crimes? 😂

Curious if musicians, record companies, video game producers, and Hollywood studios will be held liable for crimes inspired by their "speech". They could reasonable conclude that someone could be inspired by [song], [game], or [movie] to commit those acts in real life. 🤔
2
@NybergCarl Not completely analogous. Just thinking that lawyers could cite this case as an opening into prosecuting singers/movie producers that talk about killing cops or shooting up places, especially if the perp cited them in his journals.

@michaelcoward1902 "It's called JUDO Christian..." Isn't judo Christian a religious martial art? 😅 🤼♂️🥋

Wonder if the British, Australian, Canadian, Japanese prime ministers have the same kind of immunity. If only heads of state do (kings, presidents), then they should never be political (eg not also heads of govt).

@goldenvulture6818 But the modern us president has had more powers than king George iii could have ever dreamt of, such as unilateral control over sending troops across the world in the commander-in-chief role (which even the modern monarch has, but is understood that is not what it means, but the Americans want an elected executive king so...)

@Harlem55 But schools, being a corporation, cannot go to jail. Someone has to be the sacrifice.

@ryanandrews5255 Why didn't the kid's defense team counter with the demon story? Or did they (mentally unfit, accursed, etc)?

When will they ban google and facebook? They spy and sell data.

@imnotgivingyoumyname810 2024: Skeletor 1 or Skeletor 2 💀

@--l-- Didn't know company specific laws were even legal. Be like having a law banning all people named Bob from congress. How about banning any company that sells or gives its data to any govt? Us govt: 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗😙🎶

Don't many religions sell charms? Are we gonna arrest or sue catholic priests for selling 🕯 or emotional damage from being told they are sinners? Are we gonna arrest or sue priests for selling amulets and charms? Is the 1st amendment freedom of religion only for protestant christianity?

@ymeynot0405 Get around it by communal wine. Big business to have a priest in the family. 😂

@kristen5418 My thought was pound being where they store stray animals. So the town was a pet shelter.

@MissDeez Actual children can be accomplices to crime—they would just be treated as a child, unless court determined to be tried as an adult.

That's only licensed through the us olympic committee. What about other countries using the olympic symbols,texts, or images? What if a country's olympic committee offers for free or very cheap (akin to a flag of convenience) so that prime could be licensed with the Liberian Olympic Committee for $5?

There was also a mid-2000s live action movie about a trial concerning an accused train groper (I just didn't do it?). That was a rough movie.
