After hearing Hildegard's opinions on eyes, I feel like I now know where the inspiration for Elliott's arguments in her blue v brown eye social experiment came from.

All the best with you for continuing on this journey! We would've supported whatever you decide, but ngl, I'm so happy that the channel will keep going 😊

"She's not very specific about the amount of brandy" means to add a lot of brandy.

2:07 kept waiting for Max to say he subbed the egg whites with aquafaba like he did with the eggnog video.

Idk man, the decision between being forced to deal with drunk and loud relatives or spending time by myself reading is really no contest for an introvert such as myself. Think Pliny got it right with that one. Not like he couldn't bring a plate in to enjoy the food.

That looks like it'd be good with rice.

What!? You did a video for the New Year's cake??? That's just lovely (and highly entertaining to watch you eat, ngl). Awww, now, I'm really sad I didn't know about this channel a month ago 😞

I hope you update the hardtack clip to this 4-beats version for future videos.

Wait, brownies were actually named after brownies? That's pretty funny.

If it doesn't include the blood of their enemies, then I'm not sure how accurate it is.

Huh. So, this taste like nuoc mam? That's what my mom used to get me to eat my veggies as a kid. She'd mixed the fish sauce with chili sauce and lime (the lazy man's version of nuoc cham) and I'd eat it with basically anything. I remember her making the fish sauce by using one of those water jugs/coolers (the ones with the spout at the bottom). She'd pack it with fish and leave it to ferment for awhile and then drain the liquid through the cooler.
