  3. Sun Tzu I would disagree. Even without the US, most of Latin America is fucked because of the cartel owning everything. The only difference being is Puerto Rico is helped in case of emergency, which is why they gave a giant loan because of the storm. Without them, who else would help?

  7. MSK Kahr Thank you for being rational and not brainwashed. The US needs better socialism to balance out monopolies that are jeopardizing our human rights, therefore becoming an authoritarian regime. Big cooperations such as Disney are a becoming a nuisance to our democracy, especially since China owns more than half with its shareholders. I could go on, but the continuous amount of monopolies in our society is getting worse, rampant capitalism needs to be tamed before it’s too late.

  9.  @Armyan1988  I hear you man, I was also assaulted by a narc (he was white) who was undercover in my senior year in high school. I'm a pale, white dude who was with my black friend, and the cop didn't even touch him. Instead he assaulted me because he thought I had a gun and I looked suspicious...which is all true, I was wearing a hoodie and had my hands in my pockets, but I took them out when he randomly ran up to me out of nowhere with his black car. This all happened when I was skipping my last class, which was gym, and I asked my sister for a few dollars to get pizza...and so I did outside my school, however he thought it was a drug deal. Anyway, for a short time I hated cops because that one dude was a little too aggressive with me...for really no reason.

  12. Mo Letsoalo I believe they had their chances to “stabilize” the Middle East, but the problem is that they tried too hard, which will continue to make the West an enemy. Blame it on the higher-ups who don’t understand history and theology. They only believe in hardcore fascism tactics, or imperialism for dummies.

  13.  @BothHands1  You need to educate yourself about Japanese society. For some reason, there's a huge majority of foreigners who think too highly of Japan without looking at many of its flaws. It's just ignorance and favoritism, which is something I don't support. Racism is still a huge issue in Japan, and there's still many conservative parties that support racism and are anti-foreigners. The social aspects of Japan is also very toxic: sex is not something that is openly expressed, and the workplace is often dysfunctional. Sexism is a huge issue, along with how employees are forced to go to events without having an opinion on the matter. I'm just saying that even though the US is corrupt, Japan also isn't the best place for foreigners who are living there.

Yep, I know all about the safety and security of Japanese society, and you don’t have to worry about your items being stolen or whatnot. I’m glad your overall experience was good, but I’ve heard many stories of foreigners who live there that deal with racist gestures, especially when they’re on the train and Japanese people move their seats when they sit next to them. There’s also the molestation incidents when the trains are overcrowded in the mornings. I have heard that Microsoft in Japan tested a 4-day workweek which is good. I believe if you actually worked there, it would be a different story, lol, but I respect your thoughts :)

  15. Danielle Spargo If we’re taking about Seinen, Goodnight Punpun has a lot of competition with other great works. And again, I think Asano has a lot of underappreciated works that are not talked about because of Punpun taking all the credit. As I said before, I think City of Light is better. There’s also Solanin that’s pretty good. I have watched Haibane Renmei many years ago...it’s a very calming show :) I have not read Onii-same e because I’m not a fan of Shojo, although I know it’s history. I might check it out regardless. I have read Flowers of Evil. I didn’t like it that much, but it was an interesting read, when I did read it many years ago. Thank you for taking the time to check them out, as I said, I’ll do the same with that Shojo pick :p

  16. Danielle Spargo Yes, the younger generation is more progressive, but it still has its dysfunctional traits. The same with the boundaries with male adults and girl bands, along with the issue of male adults paying for company with female students, for instance. I agree with the city being my least favorite thing! I love nature and the countryside more. I have seen too many videos with Japan and it’s beautiful landscapes, lol. He drugged you? Can you explain? Well, I’m sure Florida isn’t the best place to go for work XD I hate everything about Florida, lol. Yea, it all depends where you work, and what field you’re in, I would assume.

  26.  @MikeJohnson-nj1ry  I completely disagree with your whole STEM speech, and I also think it’s biased and false. There are many high-paying jobs that don’t deal directly with STEM. And not having books in your house doesn’t mean much of anything. I’m a self-educated historian in world history (and an expert in some other topics) and I literally never read any physical books about history. All of my resources are on the Internet, and my “book” was in PDF format. Besides having a BA in Art, I have studied art as a whole by myself, and kids don’t belong in most museums because of the safety issues regarding the art being touched or damaged. Kids are more suited in any other interactive “playgrounds”, like amusement parks, zoos, plays, and aquariums.

But even before that, slavery was always common...it’s human nature. There no such thing as “Caucasians” creating slavery.
