But this is beside the point of making modern day America think a bunch of backpatters did something while an a$$hole ran around and was mean to everyone for absolutely no reason.

  17. Bottom line Ernest Pyle was a millenial 80 years ahead of his time with no cellphone. His steel helmet was too hot and heavy and sweaty to wear. Just like a millenial. Patton is running around the desert with a 104 degree temp but yeah ernie. We get it. Problem is. If he gets his cellphone. There is no master of info. People wouldve been. And Patton wouldn't have this problem.

  28.  @BasementEngineer  I read the same thing on Google when you questioned me. Not at a distance and at the wrong angle it will not. It will save your life. There are plenty of men who can tell you they took a rifle bullet into the helmet at a distance. And survived concussed or with a headache. I would compare what you're talking about to wearing seabelts. 9 time out of 10. It was smart. There is a 10th time where it didn't work or caused death. They don't rip seatbelts out bc of the 10th time.

Had that helmet strapped on like George patton would when he took off that day. And so I can have no way of knowing how correctly it was applied during the ambush and sticking his head up.
