And worse part is that current government sings prize to these events - see monuments made to "heroes" of geneocide, cemeteries to fallen SS men etc. One of the laws of UN is the right of the people to decide. Same as the right of Scotland to secede from the UK. Lets use that right to see where Crimea wants to be - you do know they at dissolution of the Soviet Union they voted to be an independent country.

  5. It's not their Vietnam at all. There is a lot of local support, people want to shake off Ukrainisn occupation. There was not support by local Americans for US invasion in Vietnam. There was viet cong resistance. Nothing here even remotely similar. Better comparison is Soviet Afghanistan VS. US Vietnam.

Russian war in Ukraine may have some war crimes on both sides - but only Ukrainian side shows clear racist tendencies. Not sure it can escalate into actual genocide against Russians if allowed to, but certainly far more likely than other way around.

  8. ​ @Carl-Gauss not correct at all. Ukraine not just formed an SS division, they formed over 100 police battalions. The murdered over a million Poles. They killed countless others. The gestapo in Kiev was 95% Ukrainian. Now Germany supports people with the same views as these from WWII. There are over 200 monuments to Bandera in Ukraine. He is officially hero of Ukraine by law. Is Hitler hero of Germany by law? How many monuments does he have in Germany. Come on, be real.

Video shows UK warship does take a sharp turn to get out of Russian controlled territorial waters with a smaller patrol craft in hot pursuit, at least one Su-24 flying around and a drone taking a video. You cannot see any shots on video even if they were made. If there were bombs dropped they are not on video. Just one RN destroyer with angry Russians on its tail.
