France is too weak to take on Russia. It could also lead to France loosing its NATO protection. Note that Russia produces 100++ more ammo than France 😂😂 Any force sent, say 20k, would be enough for Russia to do another mobilization of 300k. On the other hand it would show France as total paper tiger and a joke.
1
Just take their claim of how many Russians they killed and assume these are their losses. Easy. This means they are out at least 100,000 casualties. For a fully mobilized country they seem to have a lot of middle aged men.
1
If equal units of say 10k of Russia and US stood tomorrow to fight I have $100 on Russia kicking US very hard. It would not even be close.
1
There is talk of Wagner taking Ivaniske next and then onto chasiv yar. Kromove is about to be taken. Flanks hold. Ukraine attack failed to do much more than take outposts out.
1
What do you expect. The UK is on the same level as Soviet Union propaganda.
1
They are trapped as they have no way out. The whole sailent is held b/c Zielinski and his Nazi handlers say "no step back". This was used in the last days of Nazi Germany. It sure did cost allies some problems but also created giant opportunities to eliminate whole units quickly. So what they are dug in at lisichiansk - the Azov steel works was a fortress build over 8 years. So what. Eventually they run out of supplies :) Same here, by putting even more pp there they ensure even quicker fall.

This video was made long time ago - 2 out of roads shown are not viable. 5:53 road is not viable as Ukrainians blew up a bridge. So no use there. The northern road was cut as well after taking Paraskovivka (with photo confirmation and flag). So only 1 road is free.

@gwynedd1 100 dead + 300 wounded + 100 others (captured, deserted etc.) out of 300 wounded about half are not coming back. So you have 500 - 150 about 350. times 30. Which is indeed two brigades. But if you admit on TV you are loosing 100, the reality is you are loosing at least 2x as much. Plus there are other fronts, so 3x as much. But even with say 2 brigades we have a problem that you are exchanging experienced troops with heavy weapons for light infantry with 2 weeks training - so their losses will be heavy. Or they just surrender, or they refuse to fight etc. (seen all on video).
1
Surrender?
1
Donbass is not just seeing attacks, but Russians are taking land.
1
Israel will take 10x less casulties then their enemies. The closest Russia came to such numbers is Mariupol. IDF can even go over 10. I doubt IDF losses will be high enough to stop Israel. I wonder what Israel will do with 2million plus homeless Palestinians.
1
@dewaldt8104 None of these countries will take them. So Israel will be stuck with them.
1
Kharkiv was just a diversion - Ukrainian attack there was a PR stunt.
1
There is no need for Russia to increase payments. Even if they recruit just 200k in 2025 that is enough. You are forgetting that Ukraine is out of people. The only way they can get 200k or so is by going to 18 year olds. Unless Russia wants to continue war after Ukraine is over there is no need for so many troops. Even if Ukraine could recruit double the numbers of Russia it would not make a difference as the quality of bussified troops is super low.
1
@vdubyna They are now taking over Donbass. You suddenly so sure that Russians will not in say 3 - 6 m be again next to Kiev but now in force ready to take the city through months long siege? Everything in Ukraine is falling apart - yet Ukrainians think things are good. I guess same as Germans in 1944 when they suddenly were shocked by Russians next door ;)
1
@silly_kitty170 They pray and believe in the guy that did. This is like someone today in Germany believed and raised arms for Hitler.
1
@Out-tha-mud- LOL 4th strongest - LOL! Good one. Stringer then India LOL!!!! You joke well.
1
We know after the war whatever this was a success or a failure. I think for now it was a tactical success and strategic defeat. It finally pushed Putin to order mobilization & hopefully he will mobilize at least 600k troops.
1
The cemetery in Poland is for military personnel that is to be burred in US fashion. So why would they expect over 1700 people to be laid to rest in Polish military??? There is gossip that over 1000 are waiting for the cemetery to open.
1
Last time Soviet armor met with Western one, Soviets ended up in Berlin ;) Now Ukraine will repeat same mistake - remember Soviets are not idiots - they sent first man to space - their tech is high.
1
@Szminsky Where was I wrong? Well? Soviet armor did meet western one and Soviets won. Soviets did send first man to space - their tech was quite high. Russia is successor state to Soviet Union. Ukraine "leadership" is making identical mistake to west during WWII and later on, during Korean or Vietnam wars.
1
@Szminsky Most amusing is your total luck of history know how. Well done.
1
@jacksonpierce3996 Well, Moscow knows they simply need to continue doing what they are doing and they have the war won. Ukraine knows this and is hoping for a miracle, they even have a name for such miracle - black swan event. This can be getting NATO into the war or similar large event. Without a miracle Ukraine will be forced sooner or later to either negotiate or Putin will invest into regime change.
1
Yes, Z and his Nazi handlers are too stupid to see that. I remember people praising how young leadership of Ukraine is - well - now they see results of having sub 40 year old's in charge. Not even that - Ukraine has no troops to spare. Loosing 20k top of the line troops is catastrophic. I.e. they loose troops and have no defense lines. Russia will now go for the kill.
1
Problem for Ukriane is that Russia has simply more. I.e. Russia can do more. Russia can use its own DRGs.
1
So many different ways to slice and dice Ukraine. But not even one to defend it.
1
The bridge deck is being fixed or was fixed. There was a picture of a crane on the bridge working on new deck. There is also another bridge like 20 miles / 30km from it over a dam. So no issues.
1
Need to remember Ukraine is not mighty Germany, Soviets were only 1.5x the size, not like Russia 5x or 6x the size VS. UA.
1
Just the industrial area. But so what, their ass is exposed ;)
1
BTGs are the future. There 9:40 discussion is not ground in reality that you can combine BTGs into tactical groups. BTGs are so great as they are *modular*. BTG concept is many, many years old, ITS NOT from 2014 ;) The BTG concept is Soviet in origin and pre dates Russia. I.e. BTG concept is from 1980s. BTG concept is very good - the fact a unit of between 800 and 1000 men has only 200 infantry on average does not mean that 4 BTGs do not suddenly have 4x as much infantry. Granted similar sized units in US have more infantry - but Russia went for firepower i.e. 4 BTGs may number same as 1 US Brigade combat team but their FIREPOWER is much greater. Russia is simply more modular on smaller level then US.
1
Russia forward!!!
1
@Pik180 Native pre 1945 - "pomoze". It would be "difficult" to throw molotov through the window as ... they would need to know which window actually had the more "German" part of the family. And even the "German" part may be a bit questionable - my grandfather was born in Berlin, he was career soldier in Polish army in 1939. Now what do you do? Molotov or not? And who will throw it? Germans or Poles? Maybe both?
1
French will tech them how to surrender. They send foreign legion. So who cares they die. The French have 100% colonial mentality.
1
Essentially UA army is defeated and West is afraid of loosing the war in few months. The Soviet armor is gone. Now they are sending Leopards.... eventually Ukraine will run out of tanks as there is not enough tanks in EU or US to supply. This is just making the war longer.
1
So will there be great Russian offensive in the summer or not? What are people betting on?
1
Big deal, I also spoken good English at 17 and entered university.
1
Ukraine looses the supply route in like under 48h.
1
Russia already won the war. We are waiting for results of how much.
1
@blazingkhalif2 Ukraine is a failed state loosing tons of troops. Eventually either their NATO friends get tired of paying welfare or they run out of people.
1
@blazingkhalif2 Their losses are minimal. They will easily out last the enemy. As long as they keep winning, who cares? All they have to do is keep going.
1
Given well over 100k KIA I estimate UA casualties at over half a million with maybe over 150k of these able to return to battle. At current rate of casualties Ukraine will run out of troops in 4 to 5 years even with use of women. They may last a year longer with use of children and elderly. As for the 3 to 1 --> that is when both sides have same firepower, not 10 to 1 advantage like Russians have.
1
Ukraine lost the war and it will need to surrender sooner with this offensive. Massive UA losses in their best units. Ukraine front collapsed in Donbass. Pokrovsk is less than 10km away.
1
@tammykennedy4165 Yes, absolutely Odessa needs to be part of the conquest. If its a war, you do not give the enemy any pity. You crush them. So taking Odessa would more or less remove Ukraine as any threat for ... decades. Maybe forever.
1
@donaldhysa4836 sure it's not over but the war is already lost. Continuing it is stupid.
1
LOL, Russian apparatus is such that they know exactly how pp feel. Thus they knew 100% that Ukrainians would NOT welcome them with open arms. That in this conflict I am 100% sure. Also Look at the beginning so few troops... Today Russia has just 40k deployed.... Yes, Ukraine did not yet collapse b/c of western help... but it will eventually collapse... war for Ukraine is lost. It is just matter of time & how much they want to loose. Finally POLAND is paying for these 250 tanks. They are not free!
1
Ukraine holds the 4 villages against direct hill to their left that Russians hold and rain artillery on them. Ukriane did not take terrain that controls these villages. Staying in these villages is pure Madness.
1
I been saying this for a month now. What purpose does UA presence there have? It can be seen as stretching Russians, but at what cost? They have plenty of less costly areas to stretch.
1
Tanks and IFVs are used to decrease losses. Ukraine is saving the losses in armor by increasing greatly infantry losses. This is not a good strategy in 21st century.
1
Except in Chess you cannot add additional pieces. I.e. you cannot after a month be able to move from 2 to say 5 - i.e. ability to attack in two places while defending 3.
1
One has to remember Yom Kipur war was NOT won by Egypt and certainly not by Syria. Israel won the war rather decisively. Egypt and allies outnumbered Israeli at least 2:1 despite that Israel suffered 6x less losses in people and 5x losses in equipment. Israel lost only 400 tanks... yet Egypt and allies over 2000. Operation Badr Israeli losses on Wikipedia are not true ;)
