Despite aid that in one year matched entire aid to Soviet Union in whole WWII Ukraine cannot do much to recapture Donbass. I say Russia is doing much better than expected and is much stronger than it projected.

Notice 80% of flooded terrain is Russian controlled - 8 so far killed in Russian controlled cities - only 1 in UA controlled.

  15. 4:28 it is not a violation of Geneva convention to have volunteers join the other side - come on, who came up with that BS. Most of the replacements for Polish units on the western front in WWII came from POWs - it was not illegal in any sense back then and its not illegal today.

Thus weak Ukrainian lines do crumble, forcing Ukrainians to go on the offensive to regain lost land. This is where Russians crush them hard - and even if they succeed Russians just repeat the whole thing. Russians could not do it if lines were strong - they can do it when they are weak & to few men are manning them. This allows local man power superiority.
