  1. Russians yesterday physically cut of main supply route and control over 90% of the city. Western propaganda has been getting ready for fall of the city for weeks now. Best way to cover up major defeat is say it was all but scrimish.

  14.  @yeetman4953  There are a LOT of ethnic minorities in Russia - its a federation not unitary state. Similar idea was proposed for Ukraine. A lot of countries would benefit from being a federation.

  16. These were track bombs. Later on Russians did some videos where they visit the equipment. Also another video where they destroy it using thermal grenades. WSJ reported UA losses for week one at 15% of the equipment.

  27.  @faksen13  But they do have proper thermals - T-90M has better thermals than M1A2 Sep3. They do not need to stop to shoot - not even old T-72A needs to stop to shoot. Every tank is more accurate if it is stopped. Even old tanks can shoot accurately on the move - heck limited stabilization was already a thing during WWII (!!!)

  45. Nah China is learning that west is not as big and strong as it painted - and that it can win not just against US but even if US is aided by its allies. China needs to wait through a bit as Taiwan is asymmetric and it needs a huge advantage over US to have smooth victory.

  47. LOL, the reserve army is the last gasp - i.e. they send some of the last units they had and 90% commitment now. These units will spend themselves near Robotino and no one notices that Tokmak is not only 3x further then they advanced so far but behind 3 THREE defensive belts. And they so far not even reached belt 1.
