  2. I think we are at the time Armenia should look seriously into taking out these pipelines. Severe pain needs to be brought onto AZ in order to force them to respect ceasefire. This should be consulted with Russia first of course but seems to me as sensible thing to do. Pipeline is a military target.

  3. If it comes to an election I hope my fellow Canadians wake up and make sure liberals are voted out. Corruption levels of current PM must be truly epic if he is willing to risk the lives of Canadians over an investigation into WE scandal. I hope we will fully investigate WE scandal as well as numerous others involving current PM - we need to make sure this will never be repeated in Canada. Canada needs to be country of the law and no one should be above it, even PM.

  7. It was clearly unwise for Trump to call a protest at the Capitol - what did he expect would happen - did he hoped for some peaceful shouting? Now he is paying the price for it. When democrats encouraged "protests" of the BLM / Antifa crowd they were not responsible for looting and destruction of federal property - media ignored that push for a mob rule by elected officials.

What do you propose that is so great? The only thing that would spin this around to a tie is full involvement of NATO. Or do you plan to give them NATO? What magical weapon systems would you give them? 1000 tanks? So? The other side also has 1000 tanks. All it would change is much longer war with many more dead. Give me a winning scenario for Ukraine.

  19.  @MyPrideFlag  No it was an actual clause in the reunification of Germany - i.e. Soviets allowed for the reunification under understanding that there will not be NATO troops in former East Germany and to the east of it. That was the condition of Soviets agreeing to reunification. It is an actual signed agreement.

  28. Well one side says 35 the other 180 so true number is 35 + 180 /2 so about 107. Makes total sense. Lots of missiles used, few shot down, winter and a lot of pp inside of buildings. They probably got a lot of foreign aid smoked as well. Sadly a lot of humanitarian aid as well.

  39.  @Aaron-rw3lv  That cannot happen as their losses are simply to great & Russia has too much of a potential - i.e. too many people and too much working industry to arm these people. Or to put it the other way, once US got involved in WWII Germany could not win if US stayed committed to the war. Or to swing yet other way, Japan plan for WWII was to cause so many casualties initially onto US to discourage it from continuing - i.e. Japan was too weak demographically and had much smaller industrial capacity to win. Russian people are fully committed to the war & are causing much greater losses on the enemy. Thus there is no way for Ukraine to win. If Ukraine could win - one could say Japan could win also against US - but US was committed and was also causing greater losses - so ... HOW?! Note this is conventional, no nukes allowed. Also no direct involvement of NATO. However, even with NATO full involvement I assume a tie. I.e. it would go nuclear quickly and result in a tie. As you can see, Ukraine cannot win.

  40.  @Aaron-rw3lv  No one wants to fight in a war - this is why you need conscription - same can be said of Ukrainian people - they do not want to fight as well. Putin does not need to lie to anyone - conscription was official - once conscripted you can be sent to the front line. Its military - it works same all over the world. What is not sustainable? Putin officially conscripted just 300k, maybe up to 500k unofficially. Quite sustainable for country size. Russian people know they need to fight or Ukrainians will keep killing their families in Donbass. Western production rates for say tanks are under 100 in all of Europe. It will take years to increase production to say 300. No orders were issued to that effect. Even if orders were made etc. Ukraine needs 1500 tanks or more per year just to keep current status. No one, maybe China, can produce that many tanks per year in short term (less thank a year) even if it was attacked or under threat - i.e. even with war measures act US cannot ramp up production to such high numbers in less than a year. Thus war is fought with what is available at the moment. I.e. with tanks that you have. Entire west has less tanks than Russia. Thus your assertion that Ukraine will have more equipment is false, even if west transferred all it has. Finally west has far less artillery systems than Russia - thus even if it transferred 100% Russia still has more. So no to more equipment. Also Russia has 7:1 demographic advantage - so even with equal losses it still wins.

If Poland lets this grow soon there will be 20k tourists at the border. Belarus cannot afford shooting war but Poland can. Be bold. Use real politik.

Besides Osama himself worked for the US. There are no permanent enemies, just interests. When he was arrested the interest was to make up with Libya. When he was released the interest was in change of leadership in Libya.
