Russians would just blow up such dome.
1
@MovieGuy808 Oh this one is easy, US redraw borders in Europe recently by creating a "state" of Kosovo - they have huge base there. US is supporting rebels in Taiwan - yet it says its totally wrong and inhumane for Russia to support rebels in Crimea and Donbass. US invaded Syria and is illegally occupying oil fields there... yet no one seem to see it. Need I go on?
1
They can sustain this for maybe up to a week. I expect Russia and allies to take back any losses a week later.
1
But that is the plan - use Ukraine to weaken Russia and then throw away - just like Kurds in Iraq!
1
If he wanted land bridge he would not pay billions for ... actual bridge. Also he could have had one in 2014. Not needed.
1
Oh, and why is that - maybe we should soundly evict you from your home as well huh? Would you like that? We just give it to someone else, b/c city officials say so. Would that be cool?
1
Excellent news! I hope they never surrender - just like German SS at the Chancellery. Its better for the planet if they die. As to hostages - well, would anyone negotiate with terrorists?
1
Why would they - over 1 million brutally killed in WWII and now Ukraine made these murders their heroes! Polish minority lives in Donbass as they had to move out of supposedly "free" Ukraine.
1
Sure they can - they could since day 1.
1
@AaSs-ln9mm Russia said it was OK for Ukraine to join EU - something that is much further away then NATO push by the US.
1
When Russia carves out big chunk of Ukraine there will be a period of frozen conflict and both sides will claim victory. Then token support will be given to Ukraine other then more weapons. Why would they rebuild Ukraine for real? What for? It has nothing of interest.
1
Germany better chip in a bit on the Polish side or there may be some leaks of these Germany bound Syrians ;)
1
@stefanweisshappel364 Golden Horde were Tatars that lived in Crimea and invaded Poland (now Ukraine).
1
How do they know it was Russinas, how? You cannot trace such missile to the source. Also, to see it you need radar close by. Finally, these missiles have a well defined path, they don't have AI to change course. Missile could be jammed. Poland did not take it down as they had no air defense to deal with it. It could be Ukrainian missile, I think that is far more likely.
1
Sorry, Poland is of little importance in this game. It is certainly not in Polish interest to get too involved as there are no benefits for Poland but costs. For a good lesson see 1939.
1
He is.... The far right.
1
But there is no path to Ukraine winning it. It is now very obvious that Russia is clearly winning the war and Ukraine is loosing without any hope of turning the tide. Even if Ukraine goes on a big offensive and wins lots of land it will not change the fact they will loose the war. The longer the war lasts the weaker Ukraine is. Sending it more weapons only prolongs the war that is lost. Or just change what "win" means - now you can say Ukraine won ;)
1
Why? So war can continue? Stop all aid and force end now. Before there is still some Ukraine left.
1
@218Flow The aid did provide collapse but as Russians pointed out there is no path to Ukrainian victory so in a twisted fate the aid actually helped to destroy more of Ukraine and caused more dead people.
1
LOL!
1
Really, I see them doing much better than EU!
1
How can Ukraine create and maintain a situation where Crimean land bridge is cut off? Feels impossible.
1
@ГеннадийШуплецов-р8п Ukrainian presidential adviser has a plan of ethnic cleansing. Essentially either deport or imprison or kill. Yep, on record.
1
Sure, as long as UN is moved to some island in the pacific and US is kicked out as well - together with UK.
1
I doubt that. What she does is simply tells the truth which most generals and especially politicians do not.
1
LOL!
1
LOL, not really ;)
1
@gintasvilkelis2544 Yes, they were forced into the bunkers - at least that is what hostages are sayin ON German TV! Also many of these civilians are Russians.
1
They may not be at the border. It is strange that tanks well all nicely lined up when satellite went over.
1
Factories?
1
Yeah, how about we make a little trade, you can put nukes in Ukraine but Russia and China can in Cuba. You cool?
1
Well, they are Soviet and do no carry AIM-120. They are right now VVR only fighter.
1
Zieliński would be more logical target but neither dying would solve a lot.
1
@abcdedfg8340 Now it would be a miracle if Kabul does not fall this year. ISIS did not have much local support. They had rather large opposition from everywhere. Taliban have local support and US is only doing token attacks from all the way out to US. Without local support chances of victory are next to nothing. The support Kabul government has is far and wide less then the Soviet imposed Kabul government.
1
@abcdedfg8340 In civil war scenario especially when there is little outside support (who exactly supports Taliban? - in meaningful way?) the actual winning side has the people - Kabul government even with token US support is being run over - clearly they cannot possibly carry the people. Since the Taliban are made of Afghani in AFAIK equal proportions (so no huge tribal differences) they represent similar combat capability as the Kabul government. Thus their swift winning suggests that Kabul has zero support and elections may have been thrown / unfair. I.e. if there were only 10 fighters in Afghanistan and the Taliban had only 2, feds 8 its impossible for these 2 to be winning with 8! What we see is opposite - the Taliban have 8, feds have 2 and are loosing quickly despite some token US support. Soviet imposed government had far and wide more support as it lasted years without Soviet support (token) - thus it was more supported by locals - in above scenario it had like 4 to 6. I.e. Soviet "dictatorship" was like 2x as popular as US "democracy". Remember in US "democracy" is reserved for US as a country - there is no provision of having the "others" have the same - hence why SA is such a big allay of US despite being absolute monarchy.

@thegreatdane3627 Russia agreed to pull their forces and for UN to do referendum. Ukraine refused even with all people living there before returning.... Mostly b/c vote would easily be in Russian favor. Heck, Musk proposed that + no NATO --- Ukraine flatly refused.
1
@bonnie7898 Nope, I mostly use western sources.
1
@thegreatdane3627 What lie? Why don't you google yourself? Refuse to use google, huh? Google "elon musk proposal for ukraine referendum"
1
@bonnie7898 Nope. The only guy that I actually like is New Atlas. And he uses things such as Washington Post in most of his arguments. Check him out. You will cry if you support Kiev regime.
1
They had no choice. It was hard decision for Putin to take but necessary. US influence in Ukraine, rise of Nazism and risk of NATO expanding to Ukraine was too much to ignore. If not for covid Putin would go in not in 2022 but sooner.
1
LOL, where will they get millions of shells from? Maybe they use shovels? Look at how many shells they received from NATO - what you say is not possible. Also the spring / summer offensive seems like a suicide mission - its collapse may end the war this year with some major advance by Russia.
1
@victory-ukraine Bakhmut is part of Donetsk. Democracy is when you fight for freedom. Freedom for Donbass.
1
@abc-eq9so Spot on, US will weaken Russia with Ukrainian blood and EU $.
1
LOL! Yep, no one - no one at all. LOL! Let me start building some gun postions near your house - totally non threat. When Soviets went to Cuba US went on full alert and threaten to invade --- why, no one threaten US??! Why does US threaten war even to this day against anyone within 1000 miles that allows Chinese base? No threats man, yet evil US wants war!
1
We shall see ;)
1
Yeah, 87% of the world did not join the west in sanctions and most of Asia and Africa are quietly in Russian camp.
1
@regular-joe And you trust DW? What will be next, trusting CNN?
1
@ЯБезымянный-о5ф Nothing. Corruption?
1
@Spots Corner These 23m are rifle ammo ;))) US current production per YEAR is 180,000 shells. YEAR.
1
Does it include Donbass Ukrainians fighting Kiev regime?
